Nearest entrance into Kerrytown shops.

I have been a customer of Everyday Wine for several years. I have always received excellent service. Mary and staff work to find high quality wines that you won't feel guilty about buying and drinking. All of the reviews are written by the staff and the don't just reprint what the distributor offers. Also, no pricing gimmicks like you see at some of the larger shops in the area (i.e.: normal price $55 , Blah Blah price $17.99). Mary and staff don't play that game. I suggest when you go in, engage the staff on what you are looking for as they will quickly recommend a few different wines. I don't give out a lot of 5 paw ratings, but Everyday Wines has earned it by years of good service and excellent wine at reasonable prices.

Most of the voices are silenced by my own internal voice going, "Holy sh*t I do not have 14.99 to spend on a 22 oz. bottle of beer!" Price aside, I've found many beers I wasn't expecting but couldn't find beers that I can find elsewhere. So it's strangely hit or miss. They have a walk-in cooler with a variety of six-packs and some regional/international beers. I found some of my favorite Colorado beers and not others (like Fat Tire, I can find that in other A2 liquor stores but not here). The staff isn't the most helpful or knowledgeable in the world. But they're friendly enough. They have a good selection of rolling tobacco (when I drink I tend to quit quitting and thus return to my Bali Shag ways). Every time I've been in here there's been at least one gentleman who perhaps is a street dweller which makes for quite an olfactory experience. It's a strange contrast to the moneyed undergrads and bourgie grads that sift through the aisles. But no matter. This LIQUOR STORE (where I come from a "party store" is a store with balloons and costumes for children) completes the trifecta along with the Beer Depot and my local neighbor Falsetta's.

This place is gloriously placed two blocks from my home. I like this. The people working here are always wonderfully friendly. There are some basic food items here (woooo midnight ice cream run!). No walk-in cooler but most of the staples of local microbrews are here (pitiful selection of 22oz). Decent selection of wines (about 3 small aisles). Not a huge selection of hard liquor but the basics of bottom- to middle- shelf are definitely here. Crap selection of tobacco (rolling, cigarettes, etc.). Clientele is sparse, varied, respectful, and NOT stumbling around drunk (as I've seen in many other establishments). I don't know why people are calling this place expensive. I've done various price comparisons of the exact same item on the exact same day. Examples? 22 oz. bottle of Frog Island Amber Ale: $4.99 at Falsetta's, $8.99 at Main St. Party store. Bulleit Rye: $29 at Falsetta's, $36 at Main St. This is a great get-in-and-get-out place with some intermediate pleasant banter. Small enough to handle, large enough to have the simple things you need.

Wally Was Awesome!…read more Hands down the best liquor store I've been to. The selection is huge--everything from wine and craft beer to top-shelf spirits. Wally was incredibly helpful! He took the time to answer questions, give great recommendations, and even helped me find the perfect bottles for a special occasion. Great service and great vibe--I'll definitely be back!
