I was an occasional patron for over 35 years, and the selection and staff has always been memorably great. Store is crowded, with lots of inventory blocking the aisles. Since I am recently handicapped, I had trouble getting into the store due to a "bottle neck" (no pun intended) at the cash register closest to the entrance. During earlier visits, I had to wait 2-3 minutes to get into the store, because the owner decided to position surveillance cameras anf a snack stand right at the entrance register. During those two prior visits, I told the staff that the display was forcing customers to touch each other coming in or leaving the store. They were nice folks but unwilling to convey the message to their boss (who was not there at the time). During my llast visit ("last"), the BOSS was there and he had no interest in understanding my problem coming to his shop with walking sticks or a stroller. He said just walk around" (through the equally crowded back of the store). My observation was dismissed as a waste of his time! Sorry to see this great store reject both COVID protocols as well as customer relationships. Luckily, we have other choices in AA! read more

The guy working here was chatty and fun. They had just what I needed. A large ass bottle of Franks Red Hot, barrel sized liters of Diet Pepsi and some fruit juices for my sick as a dog husband we left at home, prices were fair. I also got into a great comparitive discussion on foods to use hot sauce on. I found it charming as usually party store employees are of the surly variety. Definitely a bonus. I love to spread my love of mac and cheese with hot sauce, hey you gotta do something to make Kraft palatable and I am not making mac and cheese from scratch here c'mon. Plenty of alcohol at the usual going rates, typical party store as far as stock but they had plenty of everything I needed which is all I cared about. read more

Three and a half stars but because of all the other shitey reviews, my chivalrous knight comes out to defend its honor - I'm rounding up to four. This place is gloriously placed two blocks from my home. I like this. The people working here are always wonderfully friendly. There are some basic food items here (woooo midnight ice cream run!). No walk-in cooler but most of the staples of local microbrews are here (pitiful selection of 22oz). Decent selection of wines (about 3 small aisles). Not a huge selection of hard liquor but the basics of bottom- to middle- shelf are definitely here. Crap selection of tobacco (rolling, cigarettes, etc.). Clientele is sparse, varied, respectful, and NOT stumbling around drunk (as I've seen in many other establishments). I don't know why people are calling this place expensive. I've done various price comparisons of the exact same item on the exact same day. Examples? 22 oz. bottle of Frog Island Amber Ale: $4.99 at Falsetta's, $8.99 at Main St. Party store. Bulleit Rye: $29 at Falsetta's, $36 at Main St. This is a great get-in-and-get-out place with some intermediate pleasant banter. Falsetta's Market - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Ann Arbor, Michigan

I used to go to Falsetta's all the time for my beer runs. Trader Joe's used to be right next door, but they don't have as wide of a beer selection (or any liquor), so Falsetta's was always the next best thing. Their prices are pretty average (cheaper than CVS/Walgreens/etc...), and their beer selection in particular is great. Bottom Line: A perfectly acceptable neighborhood beer/wine/liquor market. I have been to Falsetta's a few times over the past year; I work in the area and have stopped there on the way home to pick up some beer or whatever... The first thing I noticed about Falsetta's is that it isn't kept very clean but, booze is sealed so, it's less important than say, a deli. But, it seems to me that people would keep themselves and there business in better shape. Anyway, on to my rantview... Last Friday, I walk into the market - the owners are yelling at each other in a language other than English but, the universal language of FU is pretty evident. I pick out my item, go to the counter, and the woman swipes my card, rolls her eyes, and starts giving me attitude because my card double charged - she BLAMED me for the problem (a long-standing community credit union card), and proceeds to give me serious attitude - I had to sign the slip for the double-charge (as if it were a valid charge), and she claims to have refunded by card. As yet, I see no evidence of this through y credit union. Needless to say; I told her I would be buying nothing that day or ever at Falsetta's. If you like buying booze in a contentious atmosphere - this is the place! Me, I'll go any number of other fine establishments in Ann Arbor. read more

This is a great little corner store with fair prices and a good selection of beer, wine, snacks and pantry items. The people working there are always friendly and welcoming. I think it's family owned, and you get that vibe which is a nice change from similar places. Sean and I always stop here on our way to the canoe livery so we can sneak certain refreshments on board during the hot summer afternoons. Like many places along Washtenaw, it's a bit hard to get in and out of the parking lot if it's busy, but worth the traffic battle. I've never been sorry I stopped at Falsetta's. read more

This is a divy kind of store. Over priced items, and the sales clerks are kinda rude.

There was a manufacturer coupon on Smirnoff vodka that said it was valid on any Smirnoff vodka 750ml or larger. At first he told me I had to mail it in, even though it said "Save $2 NOW!" He then told me it was only for the large grape smirnoff. He refused to honor the coupon. His customer service was awful - I'll never shop there again. read more

I was looking for some coke and I bought a pack of coke (12 cans) for $8. Too expensive almost 3 times than walmart or walgreens. I was about to cancel the purchase but there was no other store nearby. I should have go to the nearby dollar tree. Probably for alcohol this place is good but not for me. read more
