This place is gloriously placed two blocks from my home. I like this. The people working here are always wonderfully friendly. There are some basic food items here (woooo midnight ice cream run!). No walk-in cooler but most of the staples of local microbrews are here (pitiful selection of 22oz). Decent selection of wines (about 3 small aisles). Not a huge selection of hard liquor but the basics of bottom- to middle- shelf are definitely here. Crap selection of tobacco (rolling, cigarettes, etc.). Clientele is sparse, varied, respectful, and NOT stumbling around drunk (as I've seen in many other establishments). I don't know why people are calling this place expensive. I've done various price comparisons of the exact same item on the exact same day. Examples? 22 oz. bottle of Frog Island Amber Ale: $4.99 at Falsetta's, $8.99 at Main St. Party store. Bulleit Rye: $29 at Falsetta's, $36 at Main St. This is a great get-in-and-get-out place with some intermediate pleasant banter. Small enough to handle, large enough to have the simple things you need.

I feel like this would be the place to go if you were from out of state looking for something you get back home. The liquor selection is good, it's mostly behind the counter so not a lot of browsing. The wine selection is nice as well. Most importantly the staff are super friendly. Just very nice guys. This is not to mention that every single craft beer that they are selling is expired. This is not a joke. If you're seeing this and planning on going take any craft beer out of the fridge and check the expiration. One, I was surprised it didn't already have a listing on Yelp cos it's been here for a while. Two, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found in there and got excited to add it myself. Like two rows of flavored iced teas, a wide variety of sodas, etc. These days I'm looking for more tasty NA beverages so I was impressed by the selection. But the booze ain't nothing to slouch at, either. They have a nice beer cave with tons of canned selections and larger count cases. They have a ton craft beer and domestics in the main store room and a beautifully displayed collection of spirits behind the counter. I think there's everything you could want booze related here. If it's legal in Michigan, they've got it. They also have some mixers, fancy cocktail garnishes and fixins, etc. Snacks? They've got those too.
