This time, it's not so great. The one person that was there was overwhelmed. Nice but not so good service. I purchased bottles of wine, and they were wrong. I should have checked it, but they were already bagged. The one that was correct was half empty. I'm going back and will see what happens. Stay tuned. If you haven't been then make sure you check Groupon first... Yes they have wine tasting deals. I totally surprised my momma with a wine tasting day and allowed her to pick out one bottle of wine - I was a little bit pricey but it was something unique. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and I took a lot of pictures please note they do not have food there but they will pick up food which you have to order online - I was very surprised with the taste of food that we received It wasn't expensive but it wasn't cheap kind of in the middle pricing but the food was fresh and hot because someone from the wine place go pick it up and bring it directly back. So basically it's like a personal GrubHub. Lol! The place is very clean and had a little music going on but there was no other customers so we had the place to ourselves. The person serving us didn't mind answering our questions and also suggesting some wine for us to taste. Please know this isn't a lot of wine but it's still nice and once again you already have a coupon from Groupon If you use that way - I maybe would have felt some type of way if I paid full price. This establishment is easy to go by, but go in!! Right next to Canton Brew Works, with a nice lot. The ghost kitchen provides fabulous menu options. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries with added VCW seasonings. Ahhhmazing! For the wines...I tried 8 and liked most. But the wine freeze, slashes are the best!! Cute little place mom and I impulse visited. I drag her to breweries on the regular, so figured I owed her a wine tasting. We each tried 8 wines. The ladies helping us were lovely. We didn't have the Groupon - didn't need another glass to add - but even without it the tastings are really reasonable. I do wish the tasting menu showed what flavors made up some of the mixes under the fruit wines instead of having to ask. Some have vague names like 'summer dreams' and while it's very seasonal, doesn't say what exactly it is you're getting. And when the staff is busy, you don't always have the time to catch one to ask exactly what it is. The cost of the meat & cheese tastings were a little outrageous to me. Our was also delayed getting to us - they forgot we had asked for it with our first sets of 4 wines. But stuff happens and they were busy when we first got there. Definitely a smaller space, so I imagine it can get a little packed when they're peak busy. I also wish the AC has been going a little stronger. A hot summer day and sipping wine, it got warm quick. But over a fun experience and likely a place we'd go back to. read more

I don't know which was better, the wine or the awesome customer service. We were greeted by Lulu, who is just awesome! She was welcoming and informative. The wine selection was great. Between my sister and I, we left with five bottles of wine. They have a deal if you buy a case of wine but wish that deal was for half a case. Aimee was great but the owner forgot how to provide customer service. Was completely rude when approached to try and explain his demeanor was rude on the phone when we attempted to call prior to coming in before using a groupon due to poor instructions on the coupon. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want cops called for no apparent reason. Truly believe he was being discriminatory trying to make my friend leave the establishment while I was attempting to make a purchase, which was promptly canceled. read more

Our friends purchased a groupon that included 7 tastings and glasses for 4. My husband and I were invited to go with our friends. The owner was very friendly, and knowledgeable about wine and wine making. All of the wines which we tasted were very good. The owner makes wines with juice from all over the world. Many of the wines were reasonable ($14) to buy. Our favorite was the Valroza. We are home winemakers ourselves (with many medals for our wine) and feel that we are a pretty good judge of wine. Canton Vinter's Winery has good wine at a reasonable price. It is also a fun place to go with friends for a tasting, or just a glass of wine. read more

I love the smell of wine when you first walk in! We have our business wine made here every year to pass out to our clients as a special thank you. I had them made our wine order for us but you have make it yourself if you'd like. They are always willing to help. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions you have. Highly recommended if you are planning a special event such as a wedding or other event. Taste testing is available and you can schedule an event too. Either make your own wine or purchase it right in the store. read more

Went to Canton Brew Works with some friends. They don't serve wine, but bartender suggested I run next door to Vintner's for a bottle. The server at Vintner's wanted me to try a tasting of their Cabernet. She decanted an almost empty bottle for me to try. The wine smelled off like it had been near a heat source for a month. Knowing it would be a waste of money, I still bought a bottle of Pinot Noir so that I could get back with hanging with my friends. Bartender at the brewery charged an uncorking fee. He opened the new bottle, and I could smell the vinegar across the bar. Terrible wine. Instant headache. I could not finish my glass. My friends all tried a sip and made the same assessment. We all made jokes about how terrible the stuff was. I payed $20 for something I wouldn't even want to cook with. read more

Where this review loses stars is for the service. The place was not busy when my friend and I went in, which prompted the server to stand with us and activity participate in our entire , hour-long conversation. No offense, server, but I am not here to chat with you and hear your life story - I am trying to catch up with a friend. My husband and I with another couple decided to try this place out for some wine tasting before heading next door to CBW. I believe the guys name was Jeff who had waited on us. We had 9 tastings of wine. Wr honestly pretty much loved all of them. We both bought bottles to take home. He was super informative and friendly. Very personable and he knew a lot about the buisness. Staff is very friendly and helpful! They are under new ownership now so the staff from reviews from 4-5 years ago are no longer there. It's a family owned operation so you get the 'mom and pop' feel when you walk in. It's worth checking out if you are in the area. read more

I have been to Vintners MANY times. The staff is quite knowledgeable about wine, never proposing that they are experts. The free wine-tasting is always enjoyable.
