I've left a review for the salon over 5 years ago and now I want to add on more as so much has happened since my last review. I'm still a still a faithful client. They have expanded the salon and even added a room for facials. Last weekend I had a chance to get a facial done by Rie and she truly has the touch of an angel. I filled out an questionnaire asking me about my facial regimen, skin type and asked if I had any allergies and then she double checks in person. She briefed me with what to expect. I have to say it is an experience and one that made me want more! Everything she used smelled so good and felt nice on my face. My face felt so hydrated and she was able to extract some of my stubborn blackheads on my forehead. It also came with a short massage. This experience left my wanting more. I never write reviews but I had to take the time to leave one for Tina! About a year ago I walked into the salon with a picture of blue hair feeling very nervous because I had never done full color before. Luckily I had chosen the perfect person to introduce me to the ways of being a mermaid/faerie/witch. I know we all look for that one person who you can trust to get it right every time (even when you can't tell them exactly what you want). - and that's her. As a guy with longer hair, I know the struggle of finding the right salon and stylist. If you're in the same boat, I highly recommend checking out this place. I've had some fantastic haircuts here, and the staff provides excellent service. I highly recommended Kalia. She consistently delivers great cuts and even offers valuable advice on hair maintenance. I've been here in oahu for almost 3 years and got service from couple of salons trough those years. This is by far the best salon I've ever been to. Terra greeted me with friendly smile ( I can tell even under the mask, ok?) Lol. And after I showed her the pictures of what I wanted for haircut and color. She asked a lot of questions and made a few suggestion for my hair color and life style that suited me the best. During visit she kept me feel comfortable and we were having nice conversation so I don't feel awkward if you know what I mean. I love my new color, haircut and for the price that I paid. I found Every Piece Salon through a friend at work who always has amazing hair. I've been going to Christina for the last several years and each visit fulfills my need for self-care. Christina is great at listening to what I want and also offers suggestions based on her expertise, which I appreciate. At times when I haven't been sure what I want, just that I need help or a change, Christina has the experience to tease out the critical details and then execute on the rest, with fabulous results. She and the team are warm, friendly, and professional and the space is clean and welcoming with lots of great natural light. I was in desperate need of a hair trim and googled some places in honolulu. I am SO glad I came across every piece salon. They were able to accommodate me the same day and I was lucky enough to have Marissa as my stylist. Upon being in her presence, I decided on a butterfly cut to give my hair some more volume and just be overall more bouncy. Marissa helped me achieve this ten fold!! I've been going to Every Piece Salon for years and I love it. The shampoo beds are a game changer, no awkwardly resting your neck on the edge of a sink while your hair is washed. The only stylist I've seen there is Larissa and I love her. I have fine, curly hair and I completely trust it in her hands. She listens to what I want and takes her time cutting my hair and it's been perfect every time. They use and sell high quality products there. I always get extremely nervous before a haircut and normally try to avoid them, because I am pretty protective over my hair and feel it impacts me greatly. So when I was given truly outstanding care and service, it really did make a lasting impact that is still felt! Best haircut of my life and I'm 36. I had Christina as a stylist for the first time and sorta had an idea of what I wanted which was a bit of a change in style. I showed her pics and was nervous but she captured it better than I could have imagined. It has taken me years to find a hair salon/stylist that understands the needs and wants of my hair. My hair gets super frizzy and curly when it is short, but when it grows out its a hot mess and just wavy. I had been to multiple places before and even though it would look good after leaving the salon, the days following, the look wouldnt hold. Marissa is the best, she offers the best suggestions that have all worked with me and she really listens to everything I have to say. Ive been coming here for a year or so now and the place really does make you feel welcome and like family. She remembers the little things I tell her when we are talking about life during the appointment which makes the process even more relaxing. The products they have are absolutely great and they really work well. Be prepared to get some goodies on your way out! The salon is stunning honestly. The view from the chair is beautiful and the place had a lot of love put into it when they first opened. It doesnt matters what you get here, get a scalp massage. As is often the case in reviews of this nature, if I could provide less than a star I would. My daughter had an appointment scheduled last week. As a college student there, she is relegated to walking or taking the bus. She left an hour before her appointment to ensure she would be on time as the bus would take 25 minutes. During the ride, she was stuck in standstill traffic with no way of getting off or getting to her destination even if she had been able to. A walk would have taken two hours. Due to traffic, no Ubers, motorcycles, scooters, taxis, or buses -- were getting through. In fact it took her an hour to get back to her dorm. When I explained this situation to the salon, they told me to call back to speak to Khoi. Within this time, be/c my daughter was considered a No Show, they charged her for the full appointment -- $300! That's grocery money for two weeks for a college student. When I finally spoke to Khoi and repeated why my daughter could not make the appointment and that she shouldn't be considered a No Show as she intended to make it to the salon on time but LITERALLY through an Act of God, could not, he was unrelenting. He apologized multiple times but remained unmoved. In addition, they rescheduled her appointment but said it would be another $150. At one point, Khoi put me on hold to (ostensibly) look at the transactions for the day in question. By the end of the call, Khoi and I reached an agreement that based on circumstance, when she came in for the rescheduled appointment she would owe nothing. I accepted the verbal arrangement that was made and reiterated it to him. He again, agreed. When she went to check out, my daughter was in tears because Khoi said there had been a misunderstanding and that my daughter would in fact owe the $150 since his concierge, Jolie, forgot to charge her card that amount at the outset (even though he put me on hold to "look at the transactions.) Khoi said Jolie told me that this would be the case and that I was "fine with it." I never had that conversation with Jolie. She never told me about this additional charge and had she, I most certainly would not have accepted that. Based on the conversations I had with both Jolie and Khoi, I gather they knew I would be less than "fine with it." I understand parameters and protocol. We do our best to adhere to and respect them, but if, as a business owner you cannot retain your humanity and make exceptions or accommodations when warranted -- especially in instances that are out of a client's control -- then I question your moral barometer and ethical make up. In my opinion, Khoi is a dishonest, unscrupulous, corrupt, uncompassionate, unsympathetic, shameless business owner that borders on sociopathic, who would rather make money off of his client's backs than have returning customers or maintain any kind of human decency. Should you make an appointment with this salon, please know that regardless of situation -- if you're in an accident, if you have a medical or family emergency, if you are sick, or a litany of other reasons in which life gets in the way and are out of your control, you WILL be charged the full amount of your appointment. I cannot state enough how truly appalling Jolie and Khoi are. read more

I found this salon doing a search on Yelp and made an appointment after seeing photos. Before my appointment, they sent me a text with clear instructions on directions to the salon as well as parking. Upon arriving, I noticed how professional, clean and relaxing the environment was. I don't get my hair done very often, so salons of this caliber seem intimidating to me. However, after seeing my stylist, Terra's friendly, welcoming face, I was immediately put to ease. She made me feel comfortable and took the time to ask questions about my lifestyle/hair habits to personalize the best possible color and upkeep for me. I also thought a 4 hour appointment would be painful, but she was so easy to talk to and just such an person with such a positive energy, that it didn't seem long at all. Best of all, my hair turned out great and the color was exactly what I asked for. May be going back sooner than later for other treatments discussed. Service was all around amazing. My stylist got the look that I wanted from a pic that I showed her and altered it a little to suit the shape of my face. The result was way better than expected. The products they used on my hair smelt so good. Nica is also great at massaging your hair!!! My scalp and hair felt so good after she massaged the products in my hair. You can smell it throughout the whole store. The products were organic too! She was also so hospitable. She provided snacks and hot tea while I was getting my hair done. I found this salon online and mainly booked with them because they were close to where I live. You can book online or you can also call them. My hair stylist was Terra and let me tell you she is AMAZING!!! We did a brief consultation and honestly she made me feel like I was in good hands- Which I was. Her assistant, whose name I didn't get, took me to the wash station to shampoo and condition my hair. FYI, they wash your hair while youre lying down on a bed. Soooo much comfortable than the regular chair washing station and you literally get to relax without your neck getting sore. The assistant was so professional not one drop of water ended up on my shirt and to add to it she did a nice relaxing scalp massage. Terra then did my hairstyle. I honestly love her so much! She listened to what I wanted and was super knowledgeable. She tweeked and threw out a few recommendation during the haircut and it honestly came out amazing! They are a bit pricey but honestly its worth it compared to some cheap hair salons Ive been too who've completely messed up my hair. If you want a place that will guarantee you great service and an amazing haircut I will definitely recommend everyone to go to Terra. She has gained one loyal customer :) read more

It was hard to wash my hair after getting it cut, because it was styled so damn well, but when I did and it dried, it looked DAMN good too! I didn't want to style it! This is my life now. Thanks a lot, guys! Geez! I've come here twice and each time has been a six star experience for me. I've gotten my hair fixed here by both Sheldon and Khoi. They both offered unique styles, and were informative with how I could cut and style my hair. I actually learned a lot from both my cuts and I look forward to getting my hair cut again here. It probably doesn't help that I am so easy going so I didn't have strong feelings about how I wanted to cut my hair, but they gave me great cuts and I'm so very happy with what they did. I just wanted to say that i've visited here twice and I really loved the service and hospitality the entire salon emulates. I had Miles Fukutomi on both visits. Miles has never fails to amaze me both times. He really hears you out and gets the vision you're asking for which I cannot be more appreciative of. My hair has been heavily processed before hand (bleached entirely blonde to boxed dyed black), so he was dealing with a tough one. I even asked Miles that I wanted to go back to a blonde tone and he really worked with me to figure out what tone would be best for me. He wanted it to compliment my skin tone but also give me a natural look which I avidly agreed upon. He really did me and my hair wonders and continuously does it with my most recent touch up appointment in the same tone I asked it to be in yet again. This salon is AWESOME! The salon is super easy to find and provides customer parking (yay)! The salon is clean and modern. The employees are all very friendly and down to earth! I had my first hair session there and LOVED it!!! My hair stylist was Larissa. From the get go, she was friendly, attentive, and always made sure that I was happy with any decisions she made with my hair. I had a hair cut with balayage and felt the price was VERY reasonable. Not only did she cut and color my hair to perfection, but she also educated me about maintaining my hair. She taught me a lot about hair products that will keep my hair healthy and color last longer, so that I am not wasting my money after coloring my hair. Another thing that sets this salon apart is their customer service. If you're feeling cold, they provide blankets for their clients. Also they literally have a client food/drink menu.. amazing! It was such a cute salon with amazing staff and great vibe. I was able to get a head spa with extended scalp massage and a trim. Trust me when I say it was a zen experience that I can rarely get in the USA. The head spa had the option between bed and chair, which I'm grateful for due to my pregnancy. I came in for the 'Blow Me' service and... WOW. I have never experienced a 'blowout' quite like it! First of all, they went through my scalp literally with a fine tooth comb to stimulate circulation and start the exfoliation... then I was led to the wash station after choosing my aromatherapy of choice (of course I choose relaxation...). The shampoo/scalp massage was amazing! I've never had a shampoo in which you're laying completely flat on a comfortable massage table! Usually it's in the typical recliner, my neck is awkwardly kinked, and the scalp treatment always leaves me wanting more! Not in this case! It feels like a legit massage in a spa, complete with the aromatherapy, soft lights, and not rushed. The blowout was great, I left feeling fine and fresh! Great hairstylist are hard to find. When you do, you follow them wherever they may go! My stylist aka hair magician is Khoi. He has been my hairstylist and hair therapist for over 5 years and I must say, that he is the best!!!! When I first started seeing him many moons ago, I had a bad ombre done that damaged my hair. My ombre was over processed any my ends where dead!! Not only did he fix my color, he also brought my hair back to life. After my first visit, I was utterly impressed and have been seeing him ever since. He has moved to several salons over the years but the quality of his work has not changed. Throughout the years, I have tried many different colors, cuts and styles with him. I'd have to say my favorite colors that I have done is: merlot and teal, rose gold highlights and of course my balayage. I also love his smoothing treatment that he does. This eliminates the need to flat iron my hair and gives me the ready to go look. I find comfort in walking into see him, not having to worry about having a specific color in mind and walking out looking fabulous! He also provides excellent service, is very friendly and makes great suggestions for colors if you're unsure of what to do. I decided to go with Every Piece Salon because the Yelp reviews were great, scheduling was flexible, and the prices were within my budget. My appointment was at 4:00 pm, but I arrived early, around 3:45 pm and I thought I'd have to wait, but my stylist, Larissa took me in right away. I love how she cut my hair! It looks fabulous! She was able to style my hair better than what I expected. I love it!! I also love the set up and vibe of the salon. It's really cool - contemporary, upbeat, positive, and organized. He is into the little things, which is great because hair is such an important thing - well MY hair is my favorite part about myself so I need to trust my stylist. Be honest with him and be patient. Not all hair is the same and it may take several sessions to achieve the hair color you want. I have gotten my hair colored the colors of the rainbow! From pink, red, blue, purple.. He's done it all! The salon has a place for you to lay down when you have your hair washed which is nice. I really hate salons where I have to dangle my head and my head aches after washing..
