Evergreen Tech installed our new artificial turf about 10 months ago. The initial job went great, however, we had concerns about insufficient infill and its potential impact on the warranty of our turf. After a few discussions about what was needed, we were able to sort out the details, and a mutual solution was agreed upon. Then, it was just a matter of getting us on their schedule to do the work. We continued to stay in touch with the company on a regular basis since June 2023 to coordinate a time to have them come by. Responses were always cordial and we were told that there had to be a few sunny days in a row in order to install the material that we were waiting for. Aside from the weather not cooperating, there have been multiple clear, rain-free opportunities in the past seven months for the work to be completed, but it never happened. Aside from weather delays, our requests for getting scheduled for the work were met with excuses. We ultimately had to pay another company to complete the agreed-upon work. So happy we hired Alejandro and his team for our project. We just purchased our home in may and our backyard becomes a swamp when it rains. My husband and I were miserable with being covered in mud constantly and tracking it through the house. We decided we wanted to install turf to eliminate this problem. What a joke!! Alejandro was to remove my existing sod, then grade the lot and install 14 pallets of Zoysia and ensure full irrigation coverage. He F!#$ed everything up!! He said they had machines to grade the lot but he did not; they half ass graded the lot by hand while leaving weeds, rocks everywhere. Then the sod was delivered before he was ready and it was cut uneven, would not lay flat and was weed, mushroom ridden. Finally, his irrigation work sucks as I still do not have full coverage. Randomly placed sprinkler heads that were not installed or adjusted properly. Never again! I wouldn't even give them a chance to remedy what they installed...not worth the pain. I said are you in Pompano Beach and he said yes. He said that he will be here and wanted my address so I texted him. He called me back and said he didn't realize I'm in Pompano Beach and said he has to do some work and will be by me by 1230. I said there's been to many errors don't bother coming. I found Evergreen Tech online after an exhaustive search for a landscaping company to help us operate our old, water-wasting sprinkler system. Since my husband and I use potable water to water our lawn, we were paying too much money each month to keep our grass green. And since our system was not smart enough to detect what areas needed more water, and which ones needed less, even after spending $$$$$$ watering the lawn, it still had some overwatered areas and some dry. Frustrating and expensive!! Then Alejandro came into our lives and everything has changed!! He evaluated the old system, closed unneeded sprinkler heads, raised others, installed low-flow heads in the overwatered areas, installed a flow meter to detect abnormal water use, and made the whole system digital! We can now control the sprinkler system from our phones and when we travel we don't have to worry about a pipe break or coming home to a muddy lawn after a storm because the new system is pegged to the weather forecast in our area!! So to the extent it sufficiently rains on Tuesday, for example, the system will automatically cancel the next watering or two or three (all dependent on the total rainfall). You of course control the definition of "sufficient rain" and you can always manually cancel the system with a touch of a button. Thus far, the system has had a 66% savings in water, so it is essentially paying for itself - and it was reasonably priced to begin with!
