Evergreen Tech installed our new artificial turf about 10 months ago. The initial job went great, however, we had concerns about insufficient infill and its potential impact on the warranty of our turf. After a few discussions about what was needed, we were able to sort out the details, and a mutual solution was agreed upon. Then, it was just a matter of getting us on their schedule to do the work. We continued to stay in touch with the company on a regular basis since June 2023 to coordinate a time to have them come by. Responses were always cordial and we were told that there had to be a few sunny days in a row in order to install the material that we were waiting for. Aside from the weather not cooperating, there have been multiple clear, rain-free opportunities in the past seven months for the work to be completed, but it never happened. Aside from weather delays, our requests for getting scheduled for the work were met with excuses. We ultimately had to pay another company to complete the agreed-upon work. The brick layers did an excellent job, however I was out all day supervising the work, as they were not following the draft. I called the salesperson and he never returned my call. I had the work stopped, and a knowledgeable brick layer came. I explained what I wanted, and he directed and staid with the workers until the job was finished. I was very unhappy not having a person, overseeing the job. It was not until I stopped the workers from continuing the job, that the installation started to improve. At first, everything looked great and we were happy with the initial installation. However, we ran into a drainage issue that seemed to stem from the turf being installed too high. We paid an additional $500 to have it pulled back so French drains could be installed. Unfortunately, the communication throughout the process was extremely poor. Calls were not returned, and the few text responses we received were vague and at times came across as rude. When they finally came back to reinstall the turf, they used a strip that's clearly a different shade and didn't secure it properly--now it's lifting. Because of the communication issues and how disrespectful the interaction felt, we're hesitant to even contact them to fix it. The rest of the yard looks great, which is the most frustrating part--they had the ability to do a good job, but the customer experience and follow-through were deeply disappointing.
