I called Evergreen and they not only empathized, but they also gave me a price break because of what I had to deal with from the previous company. TERRIBLE COMPANY. AVOID. You want to hire people you can trust. These are not those people. We had our tanks pumped by The Septic Group. The pumper (who was great) said there was something wrong with the pump and we needed to get a tech out as it was an emergency. He pumped out that tank too which cost $300 extra. The tech showed up a few days later and it was clear he didn't want to be there. It was the end of the day. He told us he was leaving the company in a week. He opened the tank, looked inside, and said everything was fine and he didn't know what the pumper was talking about. He claimed it must be something electrical and left. This cost $$$. He didn't pull out the pump. Didn't inspect it in any way. Three days later, we looked in the tank and it was almost full again. We called another company. They came out and within 5 minutes diagnosed that the electric was fine and the pump wasn't working. Replaced the pump and everything is fine now. This cost another $$$. We reached out to them with our concerns and they told us WE WERE THE CROOKS and they should have charged us more. I am shocked and disappointed by this intentional misdiagnosis by their employee and their complete lack of professionalism or care for their customers. I feel strongly we should get the money back for the tech visit and the extra pumping fee as it was completely full again due to their incompetence. read more

From what I understand Evergreen On-site has merged with The SepticGroup, Snohomish. I had one septic pump out experience with Evergreen Onsite & it was average. They came out pumped the poo & left. Pricing was average, they showed up as expected and did the job. Fast forward 3 years later and The Septic Group came out to pump out and perform a county inspection for sale & purchase of home. From beginning to end these guys were on top of it! I needed to change the appointment multiple times, very easy and smart admin staff. The day of appointment the tech showed up early to dig and pump, the inspector came out with in an hour & was easy to talk too and knowledgeable. They completed the job within 2.5 hours. The inspection results and copies of completed filed report in my inbox within 5 days. Hot dog!!! My real story was thrilled. read more

When I checked my yard after the inspection, I found that Evergreen's employee, after digging out openings to septic tanks, left one of the lids unsecured, exposed and cracked. There was a swarm of insects flying in and out of the crack. The written report, however, claimed that lids are safe and secured. For those who don't know, the lids are a safety risk, and recently there was a fatality in Redmond - a kid fell into a septic tank. My lids definitely needed replacement, but I haven't been informed, neither verbally, nor in the written report. As you can imagine, I was quite upset to find out that for several days my kids were running around next to a deadly hazard. There have been other statements on the report - which were obviously fraudulent - i.e. employee claimed that he tested septic alarm in the garage. Guess what, my alarm is not even in the garage. I've complained to the county health department, and a county inspector came the same day and documented the violations. Then hte County has reached out to the company, and company, instead of taking the responsibility, claimed that lids were left in good state after their employee has left. Effectively they accused me of exposing and breaking my own lids... My original concern was about the unprofessionalism of a particular employee, but reaction of the management shows that the entire business is unethical and can't be trusted. Septic inspections are done to ensure the peace of mind, I don't know how much peace of mind you can get form a company which doesn't take responsibility and blames customers for creating hazards for the customer's own children. read more

Evergreen On-Site - Septic Services Near Me

Full disclosure: this incident happened a few years ago but the review never got posted. AWFUL! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The only reason we used this company is that 5 years ago we used "Kingsgate Septic", which is another name they go by, and we didn't have any issues. These guys came and did a basic septic pump and left the place a mess, and the tank exposed. (1) They dug where there was no need to dig (and tried to charge us for it!), (2) used our hose for some reason and broken the sprayer, (3) managed to lose the lid and covered it up with something else and (4) left the tank exposed and the yard a mess. They left a huge safety hazard and didn't bother to tell me or their own company about it. They agreed to refund the digging charges after I made a stink about it. When discussing the other issues with the person in charge, she wasn't terribly willing to resolve the situation and refused to refund any further charges. She agreed to look into it, but also gave me attitude for waiting so long to call (2 weeks). At this point we just need a new lid, which they can't even guarantee they can get for us. I chose Evergreen on-site and faxed papers to them on Feb 11. I asked what the time frame would be and the manager told me it will take time to get the permit..?? Umm.. I called the Health District and they said the permit has been ready. since it was taking so long with Evergreen I started shopping around and found another Septic installer, who quoted me 2400 less and ensured me I would be getting my new septic in two weeks.. not having to WAIT for a permit. They are getting two stars instead of 1 because the office staff are all professional, prompt and helpful, and the inspector was prompt also. Unfortunately, professionalism and promptness doesn't make up for failing to deliver on the customer's specific requests. I was very clear with them when forking over nearly $5,000 that I wanted a system that was going to last. I'm not the septic expert, so when I later discover a problem (less than 4 years later), with the drain field, I call in and basically ask, what gives? They said that they never did anything with the drain field, just the D-Box, tight line, risers, caps, and filter - for $5,000! What the heck! Twice as much as that little deal should have been. But they left the old, 1969 concrete tiles that serve as the drain field infrastructure ('learned all of this in the last week). If the customer says, "I want something that's going to last", you don't overcharge and then take a shortcut by skipping the installation of a drain field that is new, functional, and intended to last. Now we're paying (someone else who is licensed, that we trust) an additional $4,000 to fix the problem, plus a new D-Box, risers and caps. I gave them an opportunity to try to make it right, but they said that they delivered on everything that was outlined in the contract and receipt, which is true, I just didn't know that the drain field would fail in less than 4 years, or I might have asked them to just add that to the bill too, so I wouldn't have to deal with it again later. Oh well. Live and learn I guess. To be fair, they're good with details, friendly, prompt, and professional. I just feel that a big target was missed by not making a full assessment to deliver a project that would last, even if it would have cost a bit more, would be more convenient to only do it once. read more

I am sad to report that I would not recommend Evergreen On-site for any septic repairs. The technicians who worked on my septic tank system were not professional and were not prepared. The first 10 minutes out of the 40 they were there they spent trying to get their drill to work so they would be able to take a lid off of my septic tank. After that they proceeded to follow up with, "I am not familiar with these systems and not really sure how this particular system works, but we will give it a shot" For the next 30 minutes they flipped some switches, discovered a filter needed to be replaced and said that by replacing the filter, that should solve my septic alarm problem, that keeps going on and off. They then charged me for a full hour. Which is 117 an Hour....... and If I would have read more online I could have done what they did. This did not solve my alarm issue but actually increased it. I would stay 100% away from this company and go anywhere else. The individual who I have found that has actually been able to help me is PLUMB PROS LLC in Mountlake Terrace (206) 288-3435. Bruce has proceeded to go above and beyond and has since helped solve my septic issues for a reasonable cost, and actually knows what he is doing. Posted this under Kingsgate Septic which is unclaimed, but *this* listing has actually been claimed by the company - wonder why they are going by so many different names, hmmm... I was referred to Kingsgate and called their number, but when they came they did say there were from Evergreen On Site. I called them to come pump my septic tank and inspect my system because we'd had some flooding, was told that the drain field had stopped working and the tank needed to be replaced as well. They even went so far as to say we should start using paper plates, etc. which made it sound dire. Should have gotten a second opinion (bad on me) because now several months later when everything is permitted and the construction has finally started, the contractor told me that when he dug up the old drain field, it was fine - and the tank as well. read more

Do not use this company under any circumstance. They show up late to every appointment and will completely leave a mess of your yard, to the point of needing to pay thousands to have everything re-landscaped. They will excuse this away by saying that they're not a landscaping company and do what is needed to fix septic systems. So they do not treat your property with respect and will take no precautions whatsoever to protect your property. They also leave their materials all over the place for you to clean up. All this, and you get to pay premium prices. Another warning: They do business under many names. If you're using any septic company in the Seattle area, ask them if they are truly Evergreen Onsite. Evergreen onsite did the septic inspection on a home my buyer purchased. There were repairs done to the system and the inspection report to the county was received one week before closing. The report indicates the UV light/disinfector was verified as working 'by receipt' but in fact it was not working and the actual alarm was set to 'silence' to hide the problem. Called evergreen after closing - not their problem. Now I will call the county and see if we can have their license pulled in doing septic inspections. That is after all the entire purpose of septic inspections on transfer of ownership! read more

We used Evergreen On-Site for septic pumping, and then when we were ready to sell our house in Duvall, Evergreen On-Site did the for-sale inspection and as-built drawing. Horrible. We called them because the previous owners of the house used them 4 years ago. Figured it would be best with go with the company who knows our property/has files on us. First I tried to make an appointment back in March and after several email exchanges with the admin I never heard back. Emailed to check in and find out if we were going to get scheduled and no response. After busy summer called them to make an appointment, and when they asked for my credit card up front I asked how much it was going to cost - after looking t her sheet (again they have all our information and septic tank type) was quoted $425 plus tax. Ok great that's how much we were told 4 years ago.. Fast forward to the guy finally leaving after 3 hours of whining and complaining that he couldn't find the lids, couldn't believe he had to work and dig it up, etc I called my husband to draw and text me a map better of where the lids were since he didn't have that information, more whining and complaining and sitting, and he leaves and I look at the paper left - they charged us $610!! No one told us there was a "digging fee" - the previous owners didn't dig it up, the septic company did and when asking about price they should have said something or asked if ours was buried or exposed. Horrible customer service, whining the entire time, charged more than quoted... but I guess septic is drained :/ Would not use again, can not recommend. PS My husband just got off the phone with them and first they lied and said they couldn't schedule anything in March because I wasn't responding to emails - I emailed them TWICE asking when this would get scheduled. Second they said I'm lying that I told them my tank was exposed _ BS they never asked bc it is buried!!! They are liars on top of it. read more

Evergreen Llc out of maple falls: My mom had to have an inspection on the home she is selling & the inspector that came threatened to not inspect the crawl space because he didn't have the proper bit to take off the fascia board and when my mom offered to have me run to the store 10 minutes away and buy one ourselves he said if I couldn't get back in time with it before he got done with the inspection he wouldn't inspect the crawl space... and he hadn't even started inside the house yet. I got back in 10 minutes and he wasn't done till two and a half hours later. Then after he took off one small piece of cement board where there was a board going across the middle of the space he told the realtor that it wasn't accessible and he wasn't going to do it .. even tho you could see that the board ends with that piece and if you took off the small piece of cement board next to it there wouldn't be a board dividing this crawl space in half and it would be wide open. It was very obvious to my mom, who is a 63 year old lady so she actually had to tell him how to get into the crawl space and make him do it. If she hadn't been there he would not have inspected the crawl space and he would have blamed the homeowner. Then he tried to steal the bit I had to go to the store for. My mom had to go ask him for it at his truck before he left because he had put but in his tool box. He also sent my mom out to the garage to dig out our own drill & he didn't even need it and didn't apologize. He is very rude and tries everything he can to weasel out if doing the crawl space which is the most important part of an inspection....and blames it on the homeowner that he can't do it. A 63 yr old woman homeowner he expected to have a bit for him to inspect the crawl space. I do NOT recommend these guys to anyone. He also refused to hang the gutter back up so it is just hanging there instead of hooked up. He also put his ladders right against the gutters and there was an engineer there with the person that is having the inspection done and he said this inspector should have had a wooden block built to put on his ladder to keep it away from the gutters like most of the guys that put their ladders on your gutters to prevent damaging your gutter.  He told my mom that he was going to go all around the house putting his ladder against the gutters and he may break one of the gutters because they may be old and brittle and that would just be too bad. So of course my mom did not want him to put his ladder against the gutters  but the realtor wanted an inspection of the roof so she had to let him anyway. Now he says he couldn't tell if there was sheeting on the roof. Well what was he looking at up there moving his ladder all over the gutters?...because my 63 yr old mom could show you that there is sheeting if she put her ladder up there.  He was very rude to my 63 year old mother. Very.  I guess it won't let me attach a picture of the gutter that's hanging precariously off one bracket because he couldn't figure out how to slide them back together...or wouldn't.   My mom had to tell him how to take the gutter apart as well. If I were this inspector I would have been so embarrassed having to have a 63yr old old-lady show me show to get the gutter apart and into the crawl space. My mother politely contacted the company about him and he turns out to be the owner!~SHOCKINGLY!! A year ago we had a clog somewhere in our septic line, these guys came out and figured it out and cleared it. This year we are thinking of selling our house, so we called and made an appt. to inspect and pump out our tank. Everything went smoothly as far as appointment-making, showing up when they were supposed to, and the work they did. The inspector came out and did his thing, and the next day another technician came out to pump out the tank. When I came home the second day, I noticed that the tech had dragged his equipment across my flower bed in the front yard instead of using the path; this resulted in two broken plants. I contacted the company, they apologized and credited me $25 for two smushed perennials. To me this is a company that does what they are supposed to do and takes care of any issues, something that seems rare these days. Thanks! read more

I completely agree with the first reviewer. These people are crooks, and what's more, they are incompetant crooks. They also go by the name Kingsgate Septic, We started dealing with them in 2010/2011 when our alarms started going off every time it rained. They came out and "fixed it" i.e, used inferior technique, products, and DIDN'T FIX THE RIGHT LEAK. Every winter when the rains came, it would ring again so much so that we were tied to the house in the rain because we were afraid the tank would overflow. Well, after the 5th such year of such crappy service, we learned. GO TO AWESCO, THEY ARE AMAZING!!! We called to tell them we were firing them and they never even called back and have never made efforts to refund us any money or the cost of the 5K french drain they recommended in error. Good riddance and have fun with the 10K total you stole from me and my family. Hope you can sleep at night. read more

Technicians were polite and professional but they did not understand the septic pumping control system. My septic tank pump would not automatically turn off, I had to manually turn it off and on to empty. I called Kingsgate Septic (Evergreen On Site) to fix the problem. By the time they left the pump was not working at all and it only cost me $300 for completely breaking the system. (I was very fortunate to call A Wesco Septic. They had a technician come out and fix the system.) I will never use KingsgateSeptic/Evergreen On Site and I suggest using anyone else. I do not blame the technicians but the ownership for sending them out to do a job they weren't qualified to do. I wasted $300 that I will never get back. I wish I could deduct it on my taxes as a charitable contribution. read more

I called Woodinville Septic, and Evergreen On-site came out. Watch out, these guys have a lot of different names. Technician was here for 4 hours and installed and uninstalled new tank float switches twice before putting back my originals. Then he said he didn't know what the problem was, and I should call an electrician, and would only charge me half price, $137. I called Evergreen and they said they could send out a more experienced tech. Called Network Electric and they fixed the problem in 40 minutes. Don't waste your time, and money, on Evergreen On-Site, Woodinville Septic, or Kingsgate Septic. read more

The only reason we had to deal with this company is when we we're buying our new home the previous owner agreed to pay for the repair of the septic tank as there was a crack in it and needed to be replaced. Contracting the deal and getting the paper work done was pleasent/easy but the actually work on the septic tank was just lazy. The first day the guys came they threw their cigarettes all over our yard. When I came home I piled them all up on their tracker to remind them to pick them up. When they started digging they did not put any tarps down to pile all the dirt and rocks so when they were finally done they just smeared all the rocks everywhere for us to clean up. A process we are still going through. They also did not place all 4 screws to properly close the lid. When I called to complain about the rocks, screws and the fact that we could smell sewage they said it was not their policy to place all 4 screws on the lid. They did apologize for their workers not placing a tarp down as that is a policy of theirs but they did nothing to rectify the rock situation though. I had to threaten to call an inspector for them to come out. The first visit they just rearranged the 2 screws and after another call they finally came out to graciously put all 4 screws on to properly secure the lid. I had told them that I wanted to be present while they were here this last visit and scheduled a time for me to meet them. I called my work to tell them I would be late to deal with this and Evergreen didn't even show up for me to meet them. As I was already missing a half day of work and didn't want to miss a full day of pay, I left. I got a call later from the guy who put all the screws on our lid and he apologized for the job that was done. Now that we are hitting rain season the soil around the tank is sinking!!!!! Probably because they did not compact the dirt around the septic tank when backfilling. I would NEVER recommend this company and they only got 1 star from me because I have to pick something to write a review. When we bought this house we knew the backyard and house needed a lot of work but we didn't think people helping to repair the house would add it to. read more
