I called to schedule a pumping and inspection for my septic for my house that was being sold. The lady I spoke to scheduled us for both services for the second week of January. She even sent a text confirming the type of appointment and date. Fast forward, I called the day prior to our appointment to find out the time they would arrive and she somehow said she was under the impression we didn't need a pumping. I told her that is not the case and that I told her what was needed when we scheduled the appointment. Instead of her apologizing for her error, she proceeded to tell me what the buyers of my house want. Stating they don't need to be there for the pumping just the inspection. This is not the case. Working in real estate, I don't need real estate advice from a scheduling lady at a septic company. She tried to say they will schedule the inspection and pumping on different days. I told her that doesn't work as we are closing on the house very soon. We chose to go with a different company mostly because of her response and no apology for her scheduling error. Even when I called back to cancel the appointment, she continued to try to be combative about her error.
