You did not address what I said. Of course I know you need the paperwork, your response is insulting. I talked about your lack of communication and my failed attempts to contact and your lacking skills in answering direct questions. It was not this one time your lack of communication happened all 8 years. I will say you train your employees well on dealing with complaints that was where I saw an average skill set. Again I can not stress how awful this company is. Maybe they give different service to a large customer? WARNING of AWFUL COMPANY THEY CAN NOT READ OR UNDERSTAND SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS. read more

Very good service from them, but our reconveyance is taking along time to get completed. Payments, notifications, excellent

Still waiting on all the money that is due to me from July on said they mailed checks Well where are they?? but sent me a interest statement for me to claim to IRS when i HAVEN't got the money have call maybe 10 times and they even told me I was going to have to pay a stopped payment fees lol THEY are a big joke read more

Very difficult to get a hold of. Set up an account with them months ago and have not received any monthly statements by mail or email. The money goes into my account, but have no idea what the principle and interest amounts are. Have been trying all day...on hold for 28 minutes and finally gave up...tried it again and gave up....then the third call I hit the button to be called back. They called back about 4 hours later and said I needed to talk to some other person. My call was forwarded and I have been on hold for 51 minutes. I couldn't hang up since it would have started at the original number which is incorrect.....fabulous...as I am writing this, they just disconnected the call. Seriously frustrating! How does a company not have better customer service? This is a joke! read more

Trying to get a payoff for a refinance 8 days now. We have emailed 3 times with no response. Their phone contact is a JOKE! The hold time is extreme only to get an answering service that tells us to email them for the payoff. They repeat this over and over even when told it does no good. We left messages but get no call back. We see in their answer to these bad reviews a canned answer to call the worthless phone number they have on their website or the ignored email address. BAD! read more

I have NOT had a great experience with this company poor communication, wrong paperwork sent several times. On hold time when trying to reach someone on hold. Save yourself time and energy and use another company read more

I was considering their note services until I read so many negative reviews. I use them as a borrower for another transaction, but I was going to be the seller in another, but not after all of this. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Phil's team in Washington and Winona in Grants Pass, Oregon, and have found them to be professional and attentive to my requests. They've answers every question I've had in a timely fashion and provided me the information I needed. I would use them on any future servicing projects. read more

This place is a joke. Called them and was put on hold for over 12 minutes even though the recording said I was first in line. Then I tried calling the person who emailed me, Winona, and was told to enter the first 2 letters of the person's name. Was told that the name I was requesting did not exist!!! Customer service does not exist at this place!!!! They have the monopoly on the service they offer so why bother trying to offer customer service!!! Beware, you're in for a big headache!!! read more

Gave them two stars because we reliably receive an account statement each month. It is when there in interaction with Evergreen that they earn a minus one star. Use of their web site for communication is nil. Do not expect a reply. Telephonic contact is non existent. I don not have the patience of some. After 15 to 20 minutes on hold I hang up. To circumvent this, We attempted to activate online access to our account . Web site would not activate and were inform to contact Evergreen. That was three months ago. Other attempts at contact were just a fruitful. read more

I have been dealing with this company for over 15 years when it was Noteworld. Once Evergreen took over the service decreased maybe too big of a work load. It is hard to get someone on phone had to get email reply even had them make changes to wrong account before. They pay very little attention to detail so makes you do the work for them. Search for another note servicing company save yourself so trouble. read more

I was forced to use this Company(Evergreen Note Service) in Seattle, and these people are so screwed up. I have a 15 day grace space and My checks were all cashed in that time frame and they charged me late fees, they play by there own rules and don't give a damn about your Contract. If they can wrongly charge you Fees they will. I keep getting unexplained charges. I can only speak for my self but STAY away from this Company. And yes there employees don't CARE and won't work with you. All they want is MONEY,MONEY....I live in Arizona. read more

This company is a complete rip off and their staff is very difficult to work with. They charged us a total of $340 in fees to close out our loan which included a $95 fee for a PAYOFF QUOTE - ridiculous. I would never use this service again - research other companies - there has to be a better option. read more

Have to agree with the other reviews criticizing the responsiveness of Evergreen Note Servicing. I have been trying to change the bank where they are making note payments. I downloaded their form (as advised on my first phone call) and mailed it right away. You CANNOT get through to the company via phone. To avoid the plight of crappy musak hit "1" to get a call back, but beware - average time for a call back is about an hour. If you miss the call they will not call back and, heaven forbid, if the call is before 5pm - you will be cut off exactly at 5 (with no call back). They do not respond to emails either (though I was told it takes 3-5 business days to "process" them). They make the deposits like clockwork, but to expect that no changes will occur over the years of installment payments is naive. If you have to make any kind of updates to your information, or (yikes) make a substantiative change start asap. It took me exactly 41 days, 1 email and 9 phone calls to update my information. In todays world - it should be much faster than that! There is an opportunity here for someone thinking about opening a business such as this and actually providing customer service... read more

The wait times to get customer service on the phone is the worst I've ever experienced. Doesn't matter what time you call, you get put on hold for a minimum 20 - 30 minutes for their one service rep to get to you. Stay away from this company. read more

This place is a scam. Maybe if you are not involved in making payments to them, they will be good to you, but you are setting up the person who is paying the note with FEE after FEE after FEE and rude customer service. Account set up was completely delayed, we tried to make the first payment for over a week and the account wasn't set up. They charge $15.00 to make an online payment. They charge $20.00 to pay by phone. They charge $2.00 to send in a check. The ONLY way not to be charged by them for making a pymt is to set up automatic withdrawals from your account. Bogus. I am reporting them to consumer protection. read more

We have been using Evergreen Note servicing for several years. Our company provides private residential loan for people who are unable to obtain a traditional loan. The service here started off reasonably good but has steadily deteriorated to the point of uselessness. Neither co-manager Becky or Kathi return calls, are very tardy in returning emails and sometimes take weeks to set up new accounts. We have gotten tired of the poor service and numerous complaints from our customers. We tried numerous times to resolve the problems with the local office here in Phoenix and also with the home office in Washington state but it was an utter waste of time. Currently we have over 30 accounts in force with Evergreen but we will no longer be using them. They deserve less than the one star we are giving them read more

I am a new customer of Evergreen Note Servicing. I am one of four "sellers" along with four "buyers" in an owner financed land deal. I have had excellent customer service from Evergreen. Setting up the account, arranging for payment to four people, and receiving payments from four others has been easy. The communication back has been prompt, and electronic statements updating the status of the note Evergreen is servicing arrive regularly. I can't account for the experience of others who write reviews, but six weeks into our relationship with Evergreen I am very satisfied. read more

This company is a ripoff. Don't agree to use them to handle mortgage payments. Under my mortgage, my payments are due on the 1st and late after the 5th. I called them on the 4th (Friday) and made my mortgage payment over the phone. They did not process the payment until the 7th (Monday) and charged me a late fee. When I called I got a very rude and unsympathetic person to look into this situation. They will not refund the late fee even though I made a timely payment. read more

Also had very poor experience with Evergreen and would never recommend using Evergreen. I had them collect on a note, when the note paid off they held my money and would not release it. They also lied several times about the situation, telling me they could not release the money without original documents and blah, blah, blah. What no one bothered to look at when they gave me all these "excuses" was that they had released the funds to the other beneficiary on the note, a whole month before this. I actually was cc'd on an email by accident between the customer service gals in which one of them wrote to her boss, "this looks really bad". Uh, ya think! Rather than try to get anything out of them, I figure it is best to save someone else from the frustration of using Evergreen. read more

I have no other choice but to have this company and I have problems with them every month. Even after writing emails, calling and leaving voicemails, my payments get messed up every month. Want to pay principal only?? Good luck unles you want to spend three days getting A hold of someone who will assure you everything will be taken care of, only to find out it never was addressed at all. I want to get my bill right, however they are so inept at customer service, the 8 or more months I've been with them it's messed up each time. DISAPPOINTED read more

I called in a payment a day prior to due date on a friday but their policy is not to credit it until the next business day which is monday thus making it a "late payment" for an addition charge of $172.37 plus a processing fee. Very bad customer service. Agree with Ryan B the customer service is rude. I will not use them look for somebody else. Its their mistake about trans of money all they say its computer error. read more

This place is such a rip off. They charge me 14.98 per month to "service" my loan. Then they charge an extra $2 to process a check. So I called to see about paying online. "Oh yes" they say. It's only $11.50 to process online. So I process online. What they fail to say is it's an additional $11.50. So $26.48 in fees to accept a payment. Fidelity/LoanCare is $10.50 and much easier to work with. No fees for online payments. read more

Worst Experience Possible as a Client. I referred Evergreen to a client to use as the servicing company for a 1-year promissory note and reconveyance documents, among other. The intake process was not seamless, but we managed to get past it. One year later when the borrower past the deadline for full repayment, Evergreen did not follow the default terms of the original, written agreement. Instead, it became a run around of "we weren't sure what the client wanted so we just proceeded as if the contract hand't lapsed" and "the contract wasn't clear about the default." Seriously? The contract was a stock NWMLS form used by real estate professionals on a daily basis, was provided when setting up the account, and they had one year to make sure they were abundantly clear on the process that would occur when the maturity date arrived. In addition to the above, they asked on multiple occasions for the client to provide documents that Evergreen had already received and signed for my a courier service. A collection and note servicing company that loses courier delivered documents? The issue is still unresolved and the client is still awaiting full repayment on his contract of while Evergreen sends endless emails requesting more documents and conformation about how they should proceed. Complete incompetence, needless internal run around by Evergreen staff, and no positive customer service to be found. And to be clear, my referral was the CLIENT, paying Evergreen a fee for their services, not the borrower who owed the money. If a zero star was possible I would have selected that. Again, save yourself time, energy, and headaches and find a different company to use unless you love to waste time, money, and pay to get zero customer service! read more

Evergreen Note Servicing purchased my collection escrow servicing account from Meracord. Meracord purchased the account servicing from First American Title where it originated and worked well. Meracord and Evergreen Note Servicing dramatically raised the fees for monthly processing , started charging and additional fee for receiving a check rather than automatic payment and in the end they charged a $100 fee as a final payment account closing fee. Do you know anyone else that charges an additional $100 fee when you pay off an account in full. Shame on Evergreen Note Servicing. Find someone else. I have additional collection escrow accounts with a local title company that has raised its fees a very small amount only once in 10 years and is less than half the cost of what Evergreen Note Servicing charges and they don't have a bunch of additional hidden fees, no account closing fee and no fee to get a payoff amount plus I get great customer service. Don't get ripped off by Evergreen Note Servicing. There are better companies to work with. read more
