I can't say enough good things about Spartan Agency. I had multiple terrible experiences with an Investment Company rental agency. But had a fantastic experience with Spartan Agency. Luckily I was not charged any hidden fees, I was not forced to take on extra things and was able to pay my own utilities. BEWARE POSSIBLE RENTERS: !!!I am shocked!!! This company has zero standards. That's right, what is your work history? Doesn't matter it's based on feelings. What is your credit score? Doesn't matter based on feelings. Company out right admitted they have zero baseline standards multiple times when acquiring about a property. I'd like to say that I also couldn't believe how rude management was every single time we interacted with them. It was absolutely appallingly. I cannot imagine being a real estate investor who owned property in this area being represented so poorly. When told we would open to paying the whole years rent the manager told us they were not interested in taking the whole years rent up front. When offering to put six months of rent as a deposit the manager told us that they would not be interested in doing that. Overall, it was a very interesting experience. As someone in a couple with good credit scores, verification of employments, and employers who offered us up to 20k moving allowance it was so wild that we were unable to come to an agreement with a rental and probably better for our well being overall. If you are interested in renting a home in Bonney Lake, Sumner or the surrounding area I suggest you avoid Spartan like the plague. Frankly, if you can rent one of their homes you can you can qualify to purchase a home. Which is exactly what we would have done if we knew the area better up front. read more

I have a very hard time believing any of the negative reviews, as my experience has been nothing but wonderful. I only gave one star because I had to. Called about a rental that I viewed. I PERSONALLY spoke with the owners of the property and they requested I call for Carol. I downloaded and completed and application then called to see when is a good time to turn it in. Some very rude and very STUPID woman answered the phone. I asked for Carol and she asked what it was regarding, I explained the rental and she said "there's an app pending on the home from 2 weeks ago". Ok, well, the website claims the rental was updated 5 days ago AND I just spoke with the owner 2 days ago, but what does a pending app have to do with me wanting to apply for the place? Does that mean you only accept ONE application for this house? Obviously if you've waited almost 2 weeks for someone to be approved then they MIGHT not be approved. Why not take several apps on the place and screen several occupants to see who better suits the home. The things she was telling me made no sense at all, I even requested that she explain exactly what she means. I started to feel like she didn't want to rent me personally or maybe she's a racist or has a family member looking into renting the home and she's saving it for them. Yall are very dumb here. I called regarding a rental and received excellent customer service and all of my questions were answered intelligently and respectfully. Although I cannot be approved, at no time did I feel like the lady I spoke to was being unfair. She was very honest with what was required of me and simply didn't want me to waste time applying for something I wouldn't be approved for. I appreciated that very much. read more

I hired Spartan Agency for my rental management for about 3 years and they did a great job. Both Carol and Jennifer went out of their way to meet the needs of me (the owner) and my renter. The furnace went out in my rental house and Spartan quickly provided heaters for the renter until the furnace was replaced later that week. There was never an issue with rent being late and I always received my payment on time. They also had numerous local contacts within the community to assist me with estimates or repairs when needed. The cost for their management services is very reasonable. They worked with me when it was time to sell my rental house and I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to manage their rental property. read more
