I requested for a flat rate, but Danny refused to provide and insisted on hourly only. This way they can spend 10 hours if the job is for 6 hours and do slow work, and I end up paying for hours that are not needed. I refuse to do business with such people who can't give a flat rate, the only purpose of that is they seem to overcharge or not enough experience to know how much time will be needed to complete the job (even after coming out and see the project - house to clean in person). I will surely stay away from such practice.

We were just moving into a new location and needed a deep clean prior to the movers and other contractors. Anita from MaidsApp was one of the only companies to actually respond when I asked for details on the service. After talking with her for a few exchanges, I decided to go with them. The service was arranged over the phone, set for 3pm a few days later. On the day, we prepped the space for the cleaners and waited. 3pm came and went, so I called at 3:15pm and asked for an update. I was told politely that the cleaner (just one?) would be running a little late. I was told 5-10 minutes and she would arrive. At 3:45, still no show. I texted the number I had been provided and asked what was going on? If there were delays, why did I have to be constantly reaching out for information instead of a simple phone call to tell me what was going on? No response. At 3:59, I called to cancel the appointment. No one answered, so I left a message. I received a text at 4:07 apologizing again. They offered a small discount and said the cleaner would arrive in five minutes. Ten minutes later, I got a text from Iris saying she had arrived. Roughly an hour and a half after the scheduled time, our home "deep cleaning" began. Now I want to be clear, Iris did an admirable job. She was alone in a 3/2 to perform what had been described to me prior as a deep cleaning. What we ended up getting was...a good cursory cleaning. She did go extra on the fridge, and we appreciated that, but this should have been a two-person job. I don't hold anything against Iris for the state of things, but the overall job done to the house was not "deep." There was plenty of grime left in the kitchen, and some areas were basically untouched. I am sympathetic to the fact that we are living in difficult times right now, but the customer service provided was severely lacking. If a scheduled time is going to be missed, a simple phone call would have sufficed. They could have asked if 4pm would be better, and I wouldn't have minded at all. The lack of courtesy was frustrating. The level of cleanliness we had after a "deep clean" left a lot to be desired. I think whomever is dispatching needs to rethink sending a single person to do anything in-depth to a residence. Or just don't advertise a function that you are not prepared to meet. Again, Iris did her best and I hold nothing against her. Also, I am just one of many experiences, and your mileage may vary. I just don't think I'll be coming back this way for future cleanings.

Also, they dusted the ceiling fan but didn't clean it, so there were lines of dirt remaining. When I sent them photos of the few items, they came back the next day and did a better job cleaning the ceiling fan & under stovetop. As a proud Armenian, I chose them over others because they were a female-owned Armenian business and because they promised to use steam cleaners for a true deep clean of walls, cupboards, the oven, and more. I trusted them completely. That trust was betrayed from the moment they arrived. The cleaners immediately complained about their previous client not giving them breaks, so I offered to get them food and coffee. When I returned, they were smoking outside my back door with the doors and windows wide open. Later, while I stepped out to take a work call, I found them smoking again. They also told me the job would take longer than the three-hour minimum I was quoted. Wanting to be fair, and never having hired cleaners before, I trusted them again. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of a workday--on calls and stepping outside often--so I wasn't able to properly monitor them. By the time they rushed out around the four-hour mark, I only gave the house a quick glance, assuming the work was done. It wasn't until my partner arrived and looked more closely that the shocking reality was revealed: No steam cleaners were used at all. Dust remained on doorframes and the tops of cupboards. Sticky chemical residue covered walls, shelving, and windowsills. Toilets were still stained (later removed easily with bleach). The whole house reeked of smoke. Worst of all, harsh chemicals had been used on my stainless steel oven and backsplash, permanently destroying the finish. The oven knobs peeled, and the backsplash was left scarred and stained. When I contacted the owner, she first denied everything, then tried to blame me for not warning them that I had stainless steel appliances--as if that is a client's responsibility. After I sent photos, she backtracked and offered three free hours of cleaning. But by then it was too late--we had already re-cleaned the home ourselves, and the appliances were beyond repair. A couple of months later, when I followed up, the owner refused to honor her promise. She even admitted they didn't own steam cleaners at all--the very reason I had hired them in the first place. Realizing her mistake, she begged me not to post a bad review and instead offered a single free hour. I didn't write the complaint immediately because I wanted to see whether she would ever stand by her word. After weeks of stalling, she finally called late on a Friday evening at 7pm, saying someone could come the next morning. When I explained that such short notice was impossible, she essentially told me to "forget it." This company lied to me repeatedly, ruined my appliances, left my home dirty and reeking of smoke, and treated me like a fool for trusting them. What should have been a straightforward, professional service turned into one of the most disappointing, disrespectful, and dishonest experiences I've ever had. They failed to deliver the service advertised, caused permanent damage, and engaged in blatant dishonesty.
