Was looking for another cleaning service since the one I been using for the past 3-4 years start going down hill. I don't want to mention their name but I always request the same team but the last 3 cleaning was someone different and they always give me an excuse of why she couldn't make it when I call it out the day of. So i went on yelp and ask for a quote of couple different cleaners. The help cleaning service reply back fast and price was fair. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. I check their review and it's mostly positive. So i give them a try and they did a wonderful job. Karena and forgot the other name came on time and was ready to work. They didn't not stand around and chit chat like the other cleaners. They did 4 hours for 3/2 house. Wipe and vacuum the house, some deep cleaning in the kitchen as well. We hired The Help Cleaning Services to provide a Move-In detailed clean for our new home, and was overall satisfied with the work! Communication was quick and professional and they worked with us to get the cleaners scheduled quickly. The job is hourly, and an estimated duration for cleaning is provided. The actual cleaning ended up taking longer than the estimate, so be aware that the quoted price may not be accurate. The process was smooth: Provide your contact information, a deposit to secure your date, and priorities for the cleaning. The cleaners (two cleaners) will come to your place with all the equipment and supply and clean at their pace. For an empty house (which can take longer to clean to get all the crevices, I am told), they spent 3 hrs in the kitchen (priority) and 3.5 hrs for the rest of the house. We also had moved the fridge and oven so that they would clean the bottom of those areas, otherwise it's not typically cleaned there. The cleaning of the kitchen and restrooms/showers were the most thorough, while the rest of the house (floors, windows, walls, etc) was standard work as they mainly focused on removing the dust as opposed to disinfecting. I did notice some of the light switches and door handles were not wiped despite it being on my priorities list though, which I'll likely just go through myself with some disinfectant wipes. Overall, I would recommend the Help Cleaning services, especially if you have a smaller, targeted area needing attention! read more

As you can see, I asked multiple times how a general cleaning could cost the same as a deep clean. She never answers the question and keeps mentioning the hours. Again, no where on their website do they mention cost is based by hour, but also, the issue is that I paid pretty much the same as the deep cleaning which makes absolutely no sense. After repeatedly getting the runaround, yes, I am frustrated and say I would leave a negative review but it was not "immediate" and never did I go "on a rant" as she states. Additionally, throwing in Gods wrath is just plain weird and reflects how unprofessional this company is. **This review is in regards to the company's business practices, which I found to be dishonest and unprofessional. I had previously used this company for a deep cleaning and was happy with the results. For this reason, I decided to use them regularly. I booked a regular maintenance cleaning through their website and was quoted $187, which I considered reasonable. However, I was subsequently charged an additional $198. Assuming this was an error, I reached out to the company. Unfortunately, the response I received was both dismissive and unprofessional. I was told that they charge hourly rather than by service type--despite the fact that their website clearly lists distinct service options (General, Deep, and Move-In/Out Cleanings). When I questioned why the cost of a general cleaning was the same as the deep cleaning I had previously received, my concern was repeatedly ignored. Instead, the representative kept reiterating that they charge by the hour, without providing any clear explanation. Ultimately, I informed them that I would no longer be using their services. In response, I was accused of blackmail and subjected to a series of rude messages, which I found entirely inappropriate and unprofessional. Absolutely outstanding service--above and beyond what I expected. This company was exactly what I needed at a very stressful time. Due to an injury and a tight moving schedule, I wasn't able to finish cleaning my apartment myself, so I reached out for help--and I'm so glad I did. From the start, communication was courteous, clear, and efficient. They quickly scheduled an early appointment for two cleaners to arrive, and what a team they sent. These two professionals worked with focus, speed, and grace--easily outpacing the movers and packers I had hired earlier. They required little to no direction, were kind and respectful, and made sure every corner of the apartment was spotless. This was the worst cleaning service we've ever used. The overall cleaning was not very thorough and the worst part is that they severely scratched our stainless stove. They immediately denied that they caused the damage without any investigation. Attaching pictures so you can see it cannot be missed. Even in pictures you can tell how fresh the scratches are. They only offered to pay for the scratch remover product but would not tell me the type of sponge actually used. They were dishonest and claimed that they only used a blue dish sponge. They only mentioned this after I said that I only use that. I know it isn't true because I walked in and there was a rag on the stove so my guess is they used the rag and whatever abrasive sponge they used on the cast iron grates and oven. My issue is the dishonesty and immediate denial. I also didn't like that the cleaners gave me their own personal business cards if I wanted to work with them directly. Proceed with caution. Updated to respond to business: No walkthrough was done with the cleaners before they left. I had to pickup my daughter from school and was not there when they left. Again, there seems to be another false claim and/or a lack of transparency with your own staff. read more

The Help used to provide a great value as a house-cleaning service. Not anymore. A few years back, they were on top of their game, then their best people started leaving. Since then, their service quality has decreased, teams rush their jobs, leave early, sometimes spend time chatting instead of cleaning. The company's management does their best to keep their customers happy with free cleanings, rebates, and apologies. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, if you want your place cleaned, you should hire independant cleaners, not underpaid employees of an agency like The Help who don't really care how good the service they provide is. We left a few times, management got us back a few times apologizing for the poor service. Last time was one too many. But I want to say Iracema / Maritza are hands down the best cleaners I have ever had come by. They came on time and were really meticulous in their cleaning. I'm sure people can be picky sometimes and there's no such thing as a perfect clean unless you do it yourself but they must say they come pretty close. My Brother needed his place cleaned after he moved out so I checked around and got a few quotes for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. I finally decided to go with "The Help Cleaning Service". Estela and Roxanna arrived a few minutes early- that in itself gave them extra points - they brought everything they needed to clean and sanitize the apartment. I read from previous reviews that if you have an area of concern, just let them know so I did. I asked that they start working in the kitchen and bathroom first and please clean the stove inside and out. They did an excellent job. I'm not saying my brother and his roommate are lazy but some areas didn't get the attention it required. Estela and Roxanna took care of it. They did a Beautiful job. I smelled bleach and that made me smile. Once they were done, mind you this took just about 3 hours, they asked that I check everything before they left. I did. Excellent work. Unimpressed. I don't think this company understands or has any standards for what a deep clean is or entails. This was a surface clean, at best. We booked a move-in, deep clean for an empty apartment. For a surface clean, this would have been fine. But for a deep clean, this was pretty mediocre. The company would only interact via texts or emails, instead of calling to rectify the situation. And every issue was met with an excuse. Underneath the fridge and stove was not cleaned. They said they do not move appliances. I literally swiped a paper towel under both and it was clear the cleaners had not dusted or swept underneath. No appliances needed to be moved. The stone countertops the company says they will only spray. That's not a deep clean! I tried stone cleaner on them afterward and in 20 seconds, they looked way better. We were told the same cleaners could come back immediately but we couldn't wait, so they offered 7am one day. Or the company said we could pay for new cleaners, who still will not do a deeper clean. So we declined and will be using our regular cleaning person. I cannot believe what we spent vs. what we got for a "deep" clean. This is a referral agency. In the future, we will look for a company that has its own team of trained deep cleaners. read more
