Before I tell you how much I love Kleen, it's important you know that a) I have not had professional help in a very long time and b) I am very neat and tidy to begin with. The ease of getting started with Kleen was a 10/10 experience and their communication with me was super fast. I was able to get same-day service after inquiring. Wow! During the cleaning while I was out of the house, I got professional communication from Gabriela on Team 25 with a question. Hearing directly from the person in my home was more helpful than a central office, so I appreciated that. It built trust and I felt at ease. Now, here's where things get really exciting... When I came home, and opened the door, I was smacked in the face with a lovely, non-toxic scent and my tiny but cute-as-a-button place was gleaming. Superficially, the house looked amazing - cobwebs from ceiling to floor? Vanished. Dust bunnies in between my giant plant collection? Outta there. Every surface perfectly polished? Of course. But what unfolded over the next several hours felt like I was a little kid on Christmas morning...as my partner and I went about our day, we'd yell to each other, "Oh my gosh, they cleaned there!?" "Wait - they did THAT!?" "I didn't expect them to do THAT!" "I didn't realize that could even BE cleaned!" It happened about 10 times that afternoon and even a few times the next day. My total happiness score (which is already really high) skyrocketed up about 10 points. Needless to say, this is a decision we wish we had made sooner. Warning to future customers: I booked a deep clean with this company, including a patio add-on, for a 1,000 sq ft apartment for $240. Midway through the service, I was contacted and informed that an additional $90 would be required for another hour because the allotted 2.5 hours was insufficient to complete the job. Upon arrival, multiple agreed-upon areas were not completed, including the inside of the oven, microwave, refrigerator, living room, and patio. At no point prior to booking was I informed that the entire service--including add-on services--was capped at a total of 2.5 hours. Had this limitation been disclosed, I would not have proceeded with the booking. Expecting two cleaners to complete a deep clean plus add-on services within this timeframe is unreasonable. The mid-service request for additional payment, combined with incomplete services, resulted in a failure to provide the services as represented at the time of booking. The cleaning staff were professional and courteous, and this review is directed solely at the company's policies and practices. My house was spotless, and I loved the little finishing touches, like how they folded one of my blankets into a pillow. Paid for a new move "deep clean" and it was a complete waste of money. Moving into a new home so it was completely empty. Cabinets were supposed to be to be completed but I still saw crumbs. Windowsills were MAYBE just wiped with a duster. I had to clean them after. Bathrooms I found long hairs in the bathtub, around the toilet and in the corners. I noticed the next day there was a broken makeup brush behind the bathroom door that, if cleaned properly, should have been noticed and picked up. Lots of baseboards were untouched. And lastly my floors are FILTHY! I came by after they left and was excited to have clean floors to move in. Wrong! My socks were filthy! It seems like the house wasn't even mopped. Just a swifter to push dirt around. If you need a light cleaning maybe this is the place for you. But I will never recommend this company again. Wish I had more pictures but i quickly started cleaning up as I noticed. Cleaners were incredibly kind but I'm very disappointed. 365 dollars down the drain. read more

Kleen has been a reliable cleaning service for me for the past two years. The staff has always been respectful and kind, and I've consistently been happy with the quality of the cleaning itself. My concerns are mainly with the administrative side. Because I don't have a regular cleaning schedule and only book every few months, I rely on texting to confirm appointments and rates. However, it seems like they never have a record of our previous messages due to their system constantly updating. At first, it didn't bother me, but issues started when their pricing changed from hourly to flat rates without any prior communication before one of my cleanings. I paid the new rate, later brought it up, and they did honor my previous price--but only for that one time. For my most recent cleaning, I reached out again and specifically asked for the current rate to avoid confusion. They quoted me a price that was $20 higher than before, and I had to provide screenshots just to clarify what my flat rate had been. At this point, the repeated lack of message history and having to re-explain everything each time has become frustrating. The work is rushed and incomplete -- surfaces are not properly cleaned, small items are not moved to clean underneath or behind them, and multiple areas and spots are being missed entirely. Cobwebs, debris on the floor, marks on glass, the list goes on. They do the absolute bare minimum. Updating to address the business' response: There was no mismatch in expectations between a basic clean and a deep clean. When I referenced "moving items to clean behind or underneath," I was referring to things like a piece of paper or a candle on a tabletop -- not furniture or anything requiring heavy lifting. Used Kleen for a deep clean in an empty house, and while the team was nice, the job was not completed to the best standards. We did do a post-clean walkthrough, but after the team had left we noticed harder to see spots that had been missed. The baseboards were still dusty, and Clorox wiping areas of the oven came away very greasy/brown. Our main concern though was that our bare feet got extremely dirty walking around the house. It felt like the floor should have been a main point to clean, especially while it's empty, but when we wipe them they come away quite dirty. It was something difficult to catch in a walkthrough when just looking at the floor. When contacted with photos, Kleen offered to have the team come back to redo what they'd missed, but at this point we've already re-cleaned some areas and would rather just handle it on our own. read more

Been using this small business company for a residential property (3 bd, 2 bth house) for family that is unable to clean on their own. Kleen team members are always on time, friendly, caring, great at listening to specific directions/quirks, and mostly go above and beyond. I've had experiences with other companies for my own home, however I can't quite find one that works as well as Kleen. I only wish that Kleen serviced my area, because you bet I would be using them every time as well. What also makes them great is their time management and attention to detail. I would say about 90% of the time, they finish up earlier than expected, and it is not due to lack of detail, because I often see them cleaning cracks and crevices I would not have thought to look at if I had the time to assist my family with cleaning. The teams are also great with the pets living in the home. My family keeps an eye on the pets, but not once have they had to ask a Kleen member to be careful of opening the front door or to be mindful when cleaning around the pets' food/water areas. Spectacular services and team members. Highly recommend to anyone who needs home cleaning for elderly people, disabled people, large homes, or even small apartments (yes I used Kleen when I moved out of my old apartment and it was also amazing). This is the company you wanna use, folks. I've used cleaning companies at rentals and homes throughout the years and they nail everything. Value, efficiency, timeliness, and cleanliness. We've used Kleen's services several times now and believe it is some of the best money we spend. Earning extra money at your job is for luxuries like this. It can do wonders for the living situation between roommates or cohabitants. The one time we had a less than stellar experience we simply changed teams and things were good again, that's the benefit of having so many teams available to book with. Our original team forgot to wipe down some basic areas, which is disappointing but things happen. Cleaning stranger's homes isn't easy. Keep in mind to request shoe covers for the cleaners and be specific when they arrive for what areas you want them to focus on. Really a shame to have to write this review since we have used their service bi weekly for the last two years but this month we moved into a new home and they sent a new crew do a "deep clean" prior to our move in. They did not clean a single thing. There were piles of dirt in every corner. The appliances were not even touched. When we called and complained they said we waited 48 hours to call (over the weekend) so there was nothing they could do. We sent photos and they still refused to refund us any money or send someone out to actually complete the clean. If you call you will get some random off shore answering company. It's a complete joke. We are definitely finding a new service as KLEEN has really gone downhill. We do not recommend. read more

Team 18 came to deep clean my apartment yesterday, and it has never looked so beautiful. I regret not doing this months ago! My shower and kitchen literally shined. They organized even the littlest things and my couch cushions in ways I never thought of. My apt was so clean that my cats were sniffing everything because I'm sure their scents had vanished haha. I was working from home and they were very respectful and communicative when I needed to switch rooms to allow them to clean. I've tried other cleaning services and didn't have the greatest of experiences because I thought they weren't thorough enough. My friend recommended their cleaning services and said how detailed they were and I will say I was quite apprehensive at first. I booked a deep cleaning service through their online portal and they had a lot of appointments open and the times are quite flexible as well. The scheduling process was easy enough. For the deep cleaning it was around $200 for 2.5 hours of work. I initially was only booked for 2 hours but they texted me that they'll need an additional 15 minutes and didn't charge me for the extra time. They were really communicative which I appreciated. For the deep cleaning they cleaned the entire apartment, all my faucets were scrubbed clean of all the water residue, inside of my oven and fridge, and the bathroom was spotless. I was so shocked at how clean everything looked and they were so thorough. For the peace of mind I had with how clean the place was is definitely priceless. We will definitely place them on retainer and schedule future cleaning every couple of months. Definitely recommend them for all your cleaning needs. read more

Wow! I've been using and loving Kleen's services for a few years now. I feel compelled to give a shoutout to Roxana and Nancy on Team 18, though. They just left my house, and WOW! We have cats, so there's a lot of fur and dust to keep up with. These ladies absolutely went above and beyond. They did an incredible job and they seriously worked their tails off to make our house spotless. I have to say that Kleen really has been great for me. I can schedule them to come when it works for me, and I never have to have those awkward conversations telling someone that "I'm going in a different direction and won't be using their services anymore." They play dirty quite literally even they are cleaning service company. Our experience started with a no response phone call. But we want help quick so I decided to give them a go anyways. Then, the nightmare begins.....first they come and do an half ass job, lied about the duration of time that they are there. When I addressed the issue with the company, the representative delay responses again....and of course I don't know why they would delay....not until after the fact I realized that they use that tactic to get the credit card payment ....then argue back and forth with us about how they don't want to give full refund after I lost all the trust on them. I need to eventually go to credit card for dispute because they failed to remedy their lies and mistakes. They did't fulfill their promise to deep clean the empty apartment and on top of that they not only lie about the time they stayed and also they things they would do to make it right. It's such a disappointment and thank God I have all the records on my phone and they cannot lie anymore. The credit card company review the case and we win the dispute. It's unfortunate that we need to spend time on this company for their dishonest business model. Hope you are warned by a true costumer. I have edited my review to respond to the lies the company has told. They gave me an appointment and never showed up. Their system is awful and they left me on read 4 times after I had tried repeatedly to schedule them. Their claims that it was because I didn't respond is ridiculous. And every representative on their side was more difficult to deal with than the last. They offered nothing for their mistakes that they openly admitted to. I was very open about being dissatisfied and they did not care. They only reached out at all after seeing my review. They don't care about customer service unless it affects them. Simply laughable.
