SUPER disappointed, we definitely got scammed. We had hired their services to do a deep clean of our new apartment before we moved in. They were an hour and a half late, charged the highest end of our estimate, and barely cleaned anything. After paying over $200, there was still grime, dirt, and debris on the floors, counters, and other surfaces. We came to realize that they didn't even mop the floors. We are having to re-clean our entire apartment ourselves and are out $215 (which I spent months saving up for because I am very low income). Highly recommend going somewhere else and to not trust the Google reviews which are overwhelmingly positive. read more

I needed deep cleaning, they did random cleaning, however charging for deep cleaning. They left lot of dirty spots. They didn't touch my shower, still telling me they did it, but couldn't not clean it well, after my request to do it again, somehow they could clean it. Some surfaces they cleaned, it looks like you need to go over it, because it looks that they used the same dirty clothe for every surface! I hired Gutierrez Cleaning Service to do a deep clean of my sister-in-law's apartment as a gift to make her move less stressful--but unfortunately, it only added more stress to an already hectic time. The apartment was empty and ready to be cleaned, but an hour before the scheduled appointment, Carolina called to reschedule due to a broken vacuum. Fine, things happen. But then she continued delaying--telling us she'd be there in 12 minutes, then 5 minutes, then giving different excuses--while my sister-in-law waited with her 1-year-old baby in an empty apartment. They waited over an hour, during which the baby missed his nap and was crying and hungry. It was rush hour by the time they got back home, making a stressful day even worse. After all that, the crew came and spent a couple of hours cleaning...but didn't clean the floors at all. The next day, Carolina asked about payment. I explained the situation and shared photos--this was meant to be a thoughtful gesture, and it ended up being a total waste of time and energy for my family. Carolina offered $20 off or to come back and clean the floors. But the lease was already up, and after the no-show and poor communication, we didn't feel confident they'd actually show up on time the second time around either. She even admitted she was there the night before--which makes it even more confusing that the floors were ignored. Vacuums break, sure, but no broom either? This company is a total scam. They visited our house for a deep cleaning consult after we had done some construction work and I asked them to please prioritize the floors and take any measure needed to get them clean. They came a few days later, cleaned and left. When I returned home, I was shocked to see that the floors were still extremely dirty. Even lightly swiping it with a paper towel yielded dirt. It was like they had never been cleaned at all. I sent them a text and they blamed us for not maintaining the floors- I mean what?!?! They then proceeded to ignore my messages as you see in the attached photo. We booked a cleaning service a week ago. The communication went well at first but on the scheduled day of the cleaning, 10 minutes before the time set, Carolina asked us to call her. She said that her shoulders hurt and she will just send a helper who will arrive 30 minutes later than the original set time. We decided to cancel. She even gave the excuse that she barely received our address and was not sure if the service will push through. A text was sent to her for confirmation a day before but her only response was "Hello". The address was texted to her 1 hour before the scheduled time. We are very disappointed. read more

What I paid for: I scheduled a deep cleaning service. I was told this would be 2/3 hours (so I could make arrangements for my dogs), this service included a deep clean of my fridge and oven. What I got: The cleaners were nearly an hour late with only 45 minutes notice. They cleaned for less than two hours and didn't deep clean a thing. They didn't touch my fridge or my oven, they left smudges all over my walls, my windows weren't touched at all, there dog fur and trash on the floor still and it didn't look like my bathtub had been cleaned very well but more 'wiped down'. They left my belongings on the floor rather than putting them back where they found them. I actually came home and cleaned up after the cleaning service. We immediately complained and sent pictures to the owner who said she would come back but that's an ordeal for the dogs and having to get them out of the house for several hours for her to fix a problem she created so we asked for a refund for the deep cleaning figuring we got a standard cleaning. My texts two days ago confirmed this morning at 8:15-8:30am arrival to clean my home for my daughters baby shower!!! No show and no call, Ive been texting and calling and it's radio silence. Based upon recommendations from someone else who had recently hired Gutierrez Cleaning Service, I contacted them and they were immediately responsive. I let them know I needed a DEEP clean, basically a move out clean with some extras that I'd happily pay for, and we were able to get our home on their schedule for later that week. I was told the specific time would be shared with me no later than the day before, but that day came and nothing, literally zero communication. The day of, they assured me they would still be there so I kept my fiancé home all morning waiting on them, only to have them no show, to have the owner tell me not to hire someone else, that she'd personally come to our home to clean it as soon as we could reschedule, but again, empty promises. While the owner dropped off her team to "clean" my home (and I do use the term clean very loosely) she had nothing to do with anything. Communication between her and her team was lacking, as everything I had asked for, her own team was like "no, that's not what our boss told us." We have an 1100 sq ft home and in 30 minutes they were basically done. WHAT?! BRUHHH, ain't no way. I spent $210.00 for my home to have a few Clorox wipes swiped on the door knobs and light switches and I'm now sitting here in my home with a SECOND cleaning company, who I had to hire and who I will have to pay on top of what I already paid Gutierrez Cleaning Service, to do the work they never did. The first day I arranged for a cleaning and they said they would arrive 10-11a, I was out of town so I asked my brother if he could come by to open for them. It was 11am and still no sign of them coming, I messaged asking how long the cleaning would take as my brother had to leave by 1:30 and they said they could reschedule for another day which most likely meant they weren't even on their way yet. We rescheduled for the next day at 2, they came an hour later and forgot to clean the fridge that I specifically asked for. They also finished a "deep" clean within and hour and a half. I asked if they could come clean the fridge and we arranged for Monday before 5 pm. The whole day went by and at 5:35 pm they message me that they could come Tuesday. We arranged for 2 pm and I let her know that I needed to be out by 3:30. They were late yet again until they informed me they would not be here until 3:20. At this point I am done and absolutely do not recommend this service. I asked for some money back but they said they never charged me for the fridge cleaning, the first message shows me clarifying the price including the fridge cleaning. read more

The phone communication and scheduling were very good but unfortunately the cleaning wasn't. I asked for a move-out cleaning with special emphasis on bathrooms, cabinets, machines, and windows for an empty townhouse with hardwood floors throughout, with freshly painted interior. I never bargained on the price (was quoted a range of $200-$250 and ended up being charged $250) and accepted the upfront quote of an additional $80 for windows. When I arrived for final inspection, I was told they don't clean dishwashers, and since the laundry was in the garage, that that would be a separate floor and was not included. I offered to pay extra to have them stay and finish the job, was refused flat out because and I quote " it was "Friday and they were busy". They were there with a cleaning crew of 2, one of whom was not there the whole time. The windows' glass and the fridge were cleaned to satisfaction but my teenager does a better job cleaning with her feet (Jaime literally was mopping with his foot when I showed up a little early). I had to redo the window panes (they never bothered cleaning them whilst doing windows), bathrooms, cupboards, kitchen sink, and floors. I'm not sure exactly what they spent their 3.5 hours on since everything needed to be cleaned again. I was showing the townhouse the same afternoon and didn't have time to waste so in my frenzy to clean I forgot to take photos, except one at the end after I Swiffered the house over the "clean" floors and Bona'ed everywhere to erase the marks left by an obviously dirty mop that they swirled around haphazardly. I saw the negative Yelp reviews and decided to try anyway because there were plenty of good reviews and my co-worker is happy with their service. Overall my experience was very good. Communication with Carolina was easy. She answered my call and we scheduled a time for 2 days later. She and her 3-person team showed up on time (early, actually). They got right to work and did a really nice job. There was only one spot missed upon final inspection and they happily took care of it before leaving. They even swept my patio and emptied my shredder bin! I really like that they come with equipment (except carpet vacuum) and get done quickly. My 620 sq ft condo took a little over an hour. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I noticed a little dust on my bathroom knick-knacks after they left. I say 2.5 times because one time I scheduled cleaning they were a no show (I shouldn't of used them again after the no show, but wanted to give it another shot since they did well the first time). Today, 2 cleaners showed up about 1 1/2 hours late but, I wasn't really bother by that. What bothered me is that fact they rushed through the cleaning not paying attention to detail at all and left within a hour of their arrival time. This company is Horrible! They didn't CLEAN CRAP! They missed a WHOLE section of debris under my trunk in my family room but claimed they swept/vacuumed and washed the floor! They got dirt on my bedding! They totally missed a built in hutch, didn't even dust that! My kitchen floor was still dirty. My candles and candle holders were black! They were suppose to clean a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment but at the last minute I decided to have them clean only my master bedroom and not the guest bedroom. And it was still a half assed job! I checked my bathroom and my mouthwash was put back in the shower and my shampoo was on the bathroom counter where the mouthwash was to suppose to go!! Seriously!! When I texted them about the poor job, they wanted to come back and redo it, but I declined because honestly, they had plenty of time to do the job the first time (they were there at 8am and finished at 10am) and if they did this bad of a job, I really didn't want them back. I've hired this company for two years to perform a weekly cleaning on my house. After several hiccups with scheduling, we seemed to get into a groove with the occasional deviation from the norm. This week, I expected the crew on Wednesday morning. Tuesday night, Carolina texted to say she couldn't make it since they were in Santa Barbara celebrating her husbands birthday. We settled on cleaning on Thursday instead. Today is that day. An ap9lgetic morning text let me know she was running late, and inquired should she still come. Well, yes of course she should still come. One hour and ten minutes after she said the crew would be here, Carolina texted to say "I'm really sorry I will have to drop off your key". Appealing to her to professional obligations did not get her to come and fulfil them. I'm extremely disappointed in the way Carolina chose to handle this situation. This company was hired for us by a production company after a big shoot here at our home with a lot of people. I told them to pay special attention to walls and floors - hand prints, scuffs, and very dirty floors everywhere - and I think they did a stellar job! We had another company we used a few times too - but sadly it got worse as we continued to rehire. Diminishing returns I guess. But this service REALLY cleaned well. And their follow up and communication was excellent too. Our kitchen was spotless also- even the fridge! We also have clear glass sinks in our master bath, and I don't know what they use, but they are the cleanest we've seen them since we bought them. Their prices are reasonable too... a little less than other services which is fantastic on a limited budget like ours. The only thing they didn't do was clean all the windows, but we would have had to specify that before hand... and, we have a LOT of windows. We will definitely have them back again and this time add window cleaning to the lists of things to do. My hope is that they continue to clean at this level of excellence. If they do, this review will serve as testament to that. If not, I will update our review as and when. And this is silly to say, but I'm looking forward to having them again after another production shoot. I wish I could clean myself as well as they do... I should watch how they do things next time. What a disappointment. Three people, they rushed themselves, to the point that they didn't vacuum three rigs, didn't dust 1/2 of a room. When we asked them to redo it, the guy argued. Then he said he'd do it himself. As the lead cleaner, she should have inspected their wrk. We will not use them again. We had planned on having them clean once a week, but I won't even refer them to friends of ours. He saw they missed stuff, but didn't even offer to refund a small amount of the money. We had to do their job after three people left. Terrible cleaning service. Promises, but terrible results. Not even an apology from the owner.
