Ron is awesome. My wife tried to open the door but the lock came with the key. Ron arrived in 20 minutes and opened. He tried to fix the old lock but that was not possible so he went for another lock and substitute the old one and now the new lock works even with the same keys. Ron was awesome! Locked myself out of my townhome & broke the lock trying to get back in. To top things off...a couple of trim boards for a project I was working just inside the front door had fallen over.and wedged in between the front door & back wall of hallway inside...so I couldn't push the front door in at all from the outside (even if I did manage to unlock the front door). I called Ron from work...and arranged to meet him back at my place. His communication was great...he was over just when he said he would be. He was at my place for probably for a total of 90 mins..he tried to unwedge the boards by sticking a screwdriver/file & hammering underneath the door sweep to move them. When that was unsuccessful..he was somehow able to snake a line thru the top of my garage door & disengage the motor from the track (he did this blind...since he couldn't see where the latch was inside my garage (no garage door windows). He never gave up and was determined to get me back in my house. He was very nice & never got frustrated (this was a very difficult job). He also honored his original lockout price ...even though it took much longer than a normal lockout. He is great and can't recommend him enough! read more

I called Saturday night 3-3-18 to get a quote on rekeying 2 locks for the front door, but I also needed my mailbox rekeyed also. Ron gave me a price that included all three which was very good. We set up a time to come and he was delayed a bit and texted me he was running a little late which I was okay. When he got to my home he was right on it. Ron was here and rekeyed the 3 locks in no time. He also said if I had any problems to give him a call and would come free of charge to fix it. What he quotes you on the phone is what you end up paying for his services. I had another locksmith tell me once they got to the home and look at the locks then they determine on how much to charge. OUTSTANDING! 8am, Monday morning - Labor Day - a national holiday. I needed to change the locks at my grandmother's house following her move into assisted living. Evergreen was the first and best review in Yelp. I left a message and proceeded to contact the second choice given the holiday. Ron called me back before I could even press "send" on my phone for the 2nd company. He promised to arrive within 2 hours. Ron arrived within ONE hour. Ron discussed various options to complete the task and to save money. Ron was extremely professional, involved me in the education of options and the actual completion process. Ron was awesome! He came out same day, as he was doing a job nearby. My job ended up being bigger than expected but he was great about pricing, transparency, explaining everything and ensuring I was happy with the job. One note: if you need re-keying and you have different brands of key locks, you'll need to replace the actual hardware of some of the locks to get them all the same (I had 6 different keys for 6 different doors...ugh). We needed some new locks installed on our interior office doors where I work and Ron delivered and installed a great quality product. He accidentally scratched (very minor) the back surface of one door which I never would have noticed, but he pointed out what he had done and offered to fix the scratch. (love the honesty!) I've locked myself out of the house 4 times in the last three months, so I've called many locksmiths in the area. They have all been pushy, rude, and unwilling to provide even a broad estimation of what their services would cost. Yesterday, when my husband and I were locked out, we called Ron and we could not have been happier with the service. Ron kept us updated on his ETA and when he arrived he was the most attentive and professional locksmith I've ever worked with. When we mentioned that we had a keypad lock in the house that we just needed time to get around to installing, he offered to do it for us right then and there. He also replaced a defective doorknob. At the end of the job, he then brought out a broom and cleaned up after himself. I couldn't believe it. The most incredible part was the cost of all this work. It was better than reasonable.
