A family member specifically ordered an OEM Nissan remote. It was suppose to arrive in 3 to 5 business days and took 7 business days. They had to be reminded to cut the key in the remote. But the worst part, a generic aftermarket remote was provided, instead of the OEM part! Yes, it did function, but it absolutely was not what was discussed and paid for! Very shady business practice! There was a nice old gentleman, I'll give it that.....sounded very confident in what I needed done.....keying 3 car locks to work with an existing key and I had the key code. Sorry to say....a younger guy was there when I went to pick them up. His skills were so shorty, the "face rings" on my locks were all marred up, he claim my keys were too worn out to work properly.....but it turned out, he didn't cut the keys well, because his keys wouldn't turn the ignition lock. What a waste of my time and let's not forget the over pricing...$120 to key 3 car door locks to a key code?!? I wasn't born yesterday. Don't mind supporting local small business....but disgusted by crappy work. Don't raise your voice just to talk over me. Admit your screw up, and just redo it! If could give 100 stars that would be what I choose. I needed a switch blade key for my car and had gotten price quotes from the dealership at over 400.00 plus a 90.00 key programming fee. They also had to order my fob and appointments were over a week out AFTER my key would have gotten delivered. We did a walk in at Milo's to price check after we had gotten no less than 10 recommendations from neighbors and friends. Small shop, nice enough guy at the counter. Needed a key cut for a 2010 Hyundai Sonata. He had a blank and proceeded to cut the key. Was cheaper than what others were asking but within days of leaving the key is a hit and miss proposition. Usually works in the door, though difficult, often won't work in the ignition. I haven't gone back to see if they could fix it, my wife has the other key and I'm going through chemo- radiation for a bout with cancer and haven't had the time to go back. read more

best place to get keys made. I took him 2 pieces of a key that broke and he made me a usable key. then I took him an aftermarket automobile chipped key for my used truck and he made a key that worked with no problems. the dealer said they couldn't make a key because the computer wouldn't talk to the chip in the key. he was even cheaper than dealer. read more

Called to have them remove and replace a locked door knob I didn't have a key for. They set me up for a same day appointment. 45 minutes before our appointment time they cancelled and rescheduled for what they said was their first job of the day for the following day. I don't live at the house, so I showed up at the scheduled time and got a call 25 minutes after to say that their other job was running late and gave me no ETA on when they would show up. Took my deadbolt in since the key was tough to engage. I was worried I would shear off a tooth of the key. He took a quick look and squirted some wd40 and all was good. These people are so unprofessional!! I called yesterday to set an appointment to make a key for a 93 Cadillac and the guy that answered the phone quoted me and told me they would be at the house where I have my car at by 10am. I call at 11am to see where the tech is and they have no idea about my appointment nor do they want to help me make the keys! This is the worst inexperienced people I've ever worked with! I would always see Milo's while hanging out in downtown Puyallup. I recently lost the key blade to my Honda and didn't have a spare. I did have the plastic casing with the chip though, so that's a plus. Anywho, I called the dealership and they were trying to charge me $160 and said they couldn't transfer the old chip into the new casing/key. I would have to tow my car into the shop so they can program the new key. This is BS! I thought of Milo's, called, and they were able to make me a new car key using my old chip and my Honda key code without a problem! They charged me half of what the dealership was trying to charge me and I didn't have to tow my car anywhere. Once I got home my car started without a problem Hooray!! They were busy, a good sign, so the customer service was a little lacking but totally understandable. They were nice once we got to talking lol. my key stopped turning in the ignition and I suspected it was the ignition but on the off chance it was the key I took it here and he told me that is indeed the ignition but he they could have just made me a new key and charged me for it and off I would have went into a world of being stranded and finding out the hard way it was indeed the ignition but Milos was honest with me and diagnosed the problem correctly, didn't charge me a dime and I replaced the ignition innards and it's just fine now.
