Cool place. Stopped by after a hike today and was impressed with both the variety of food as well as beer options. I had the coffee ipa which was quite coffee forward and delicious along with the notorious blt. The sandwich was the perfect combo of veggies and bacon I needed for hike recovery. My buddy got the elk horn ipa (?l, hazy. It was a nice mix of juice and haze. He had the blackened mac and and au ju sandwich. The Mac had nice flavor and he said the sandwich was tasty. read more

Just an absolute gem in a very unexpected spot! You head up in a strip-mall style building to head into the brewery, and then you order at the counter and should head out to the deck to take in some great views while you enjoy your food and beer! They have a rotating Burger of the Month, and I've yet to have a bad one! They are always juicy, inventive and absolutely delicious! The Pork Green Chili is similarly amazing, and there are some excellent beers to accompany them! Whenever I do a hike near Evergreen, I always make sure to stop by here afterwards! read more

After a hike on Squaw Mountain, we dropped back toward Evergreen, ready for burgers and a pint. Gotta say, Evergreen Brewery hooked us up. Our burgers were of the greasy spoon type, but thicker. Cheese was solid, so was the bacon. The bun was awesome, not what's usually paired with this kind of burger. Win. My red IPA was surprisingly above par. Upper mids. They don't have fries, FYI. The chips seemed house-made and were good. One bartender was helpful and friendly. The other could be replaced by AI. I really dig the artwork that fills the walls on both floors. Who has a Papa Smurf skate deck? The upstairs has a pool table, a pinball machine, and one of those table-top arcade combo things. I tried playing an old fave, 1943, but it's 50 cents and only gave me one life. No, thanks. The pinball machine isn't forgiving when your ball goes out on its first trip down, but we did get a replay and the difficulty isn't set very high. Overall, when looking for a post-hike beer and burger, Evergreen Brewery hits the spot. read more

This place is a solid 5 stars. I'm not sure where to start. The brewery is a cozy atmosphere playing excellent music and has TVs to watch sports. On a nice day you can enjoy yourself on their large patio. We were greeted with a friendly hello from the beertender. They have an excellent food menu. I tried their Italian sandwich (warm) and OMG! It was excellent. The hoagie roll was fresh, the mustard (made in house) was the best I have had. The Italian meat and their in house Giardiniera perfection. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and raved it is one of the best he has had. We also tried their spinach dip and broccoli salad. The freshness of the ingredients is really a showcase. Now since they are a brewery I should talk about their beer. My husband had a flight and enjoyed all four. The Infinite Alone Mexican lager was his favorite but he also liked the Evergreen Tropic Like It's Hot. I drank the Da Fook, Irish Milk/Cream/Sweet Stout - Barrel Aged ((Lactose, Cacao Nibs, Vanilla)) and it was so flavorful and smooth. I'm so glad this place is on my radar. We stopped in here for lunch while we were driving the lariat loop. They have a good selection of beers and a full bar. We went on a Monday and they had happy hour pricing during lunch. They have a full menu with who made specialties to include beer, cheese, macaroni, and cheese Made with some of their house root beer, butternut squash, hummus with vegetables, and pita, my boyfriend got the Reuben and thought it was fantastic. Everything is served on our cart. It's not huge, but they do have indoor and outdoor seating and you could have a group of up to 8 to 10 easily. They have several TVs with sports on. Stopped in to get a bite to eat and will definitely be back! The bartender let me know that everything on the menu was great but was happy to give me his personal favorites. I had a I think it was called "not a wedge salad" and added chicken. It was delicious! I can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu! Stopped here after a hike this weekend to grab a drink and sit for a bit. They have a relatively small selection, but did have a sour which I got (not my favorite, but did the job). They also do have a pretty full food menu but a prominent sign saying WE DO NOT HAVE FRENCH FRIES which is among the sadder signs one can see at a brewery. We sat outside since we had our dog with us and dogs are only allowed on the patio. A bit weird to get to since the only way to the patio is via a ramp that begins by.....walking through the brewery (sort of defeats the purpose of keeping dogs out?) but the patio (well, deck, really) had decent space, some high tables, counters, and a lounge area with some fire pit tables. We hung out for a bit and eventually got an order of pretzel bites which were good (obviously store bought) but came with cheese and spicy mustard sauce (spicy mustard or bust!) Parking was relatively easy as there's an upper and lower lot. To get to the entrance you have to walk through the rest of the "plaza" and storefronts as the brewery is only upstairs. Not the most attractive route but overall a decent spot. read more

I'm a local, so naturally I visit a few times a month. Love that they have vegan options (vegan banh mi and impossible burgers). They have some table games and arcade games upstairs. My wife and I came in on a recent visit to evergreen and enjoyed a couple of quality beers in this cool locals spot located upstairs above Boone Mountain Sports. We sat inside at the bar but you can also sit outside and enjoy the sweeping views of Bergen peak and Elk Meadow. Love this cool spot in evergreen and look forward to coming back. read more

Wow - I'm so glad we stopped here after our hike. It's just across the road from Elk Meadow Park, so makes for a great day of hiking then sipping some local cold ones! It's located upstairs and has some cool artwork as you walk in. The fella behind the bar taking orders was super helpful and attentive. He allowed me and my crew to sample several things till I found what I liked (even with a growing line behind us). We ordered several items to go and wanted something to munch on while we savored our brews. So he staged the order out for us so it would be fresh to go. Now that's great service ... all with a smile! As for food - we got the Burrata Bomb [burrata cheese, Blackberries, Beets, Shaved Almonds, Balsamic Reduction, on a bed of greens] to share while we sipped our brew. This thing was so good I had to recreate it when I got back to Texas. It's going to be a staple on my lunch menu for the summer. So dang good! For dinner my friends got salads: blackberry apple and summer slaw. Both said they were awesome! I had the Sour Apple Whiskey Reuben [Corned beef, melted swiss cheese, Whiskey Apple sauerkraut, house-made Smokey 1000 island dressing, served on marbled rye]. I tell you what - just writing this review and recalling that sandwich makes me what to drive back there right now! So dan good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Some sort of cheeseburger with a fried egg on top. I got some type of French dip with thinly sliced beef, peppers onions and a horseradish sauce. It was amazing. My intent was to only eat half but I couldn't help myself and almost finished it. So good. The side to my sandwich was the Mac and cheese. Made with beer cheese sauce. Came here on a Sunday (January 2021). Not too many people around noon. Covid compliant- limited/spaced out seating and masks required except for when seated. They have a great rotating selection of beers on tap-- typically always have a sour, personal favorites. They do have a small patio but, there was snow covering it so inside was the only option which we got a table right away (also small seating selection upstairs). They had a projector screen and TVs that were displaying the football game. We ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts with had some fresh cranberries (very good), Pho'cked Up French Dip (also very good) and some beers. Great vibe, tasty food and friendly staff. Stopped by 4pm for a beer. Got two $4 beers off HH list. Grumpy said $12. That's not right, check that please. Grumpy looked at receipt, mumble about fees and toss the receipt back and barked $12. Went to chair, looked at receipt, $12-wrong, gave grumpy receipt, and said wrong and walked away. Few mins grumpy drops $4 on table only making eye contact with wife (weird) says oops and walks away. The Colorado dip today was half soggy before we even got it, and the bread was a soggy, gross brain-like texture. The bartenders have never been outright rude, but seem like they'd rather be getting teeth removed than answer your questions or help you with anything. Hostess Ally was extremely unpleasant & rude. When we walked into the restaurant there was no one at the front, so we started to walk through to the patio with our small dogs. When we were halfway there, The hostess suddenly rushed at us yelling: "you can't walk through with the dogs! You have to go around!" So we walked out the way we came , down a long stairway & up another to the deck. We settled ourselves in next to another occupied table. Then the hostess came & said "You can't sit here, we don't have enough staff" , & shooed us to the congested part of the deck where the tables were crammed near each other & there was spilled food under the table. This was only 15-20 ft away , leaving us to wonder why the existing staff couldn't walk to our original table easily! We had a very good meal & a fantastic waitress, but the experience with the nasty hostess overshadowed our whole visit. read more

Order your food via the QR code menu at the bar when you walk in. We had the cheesesteak with Mac side. Food was quick and tasty. I had the Friek sour and husband had a bloody - he really liked the seasoned salt that was like a citrus/chili salt. Cheesesteak was flavorful and not soggy. Decided to stop in at Evergreen Brewery because we wanted some mountain fresh air with good beer and food. We found the beer menu to have some good options with stouts, pale ales, and more. The beers ran a little higher abv. We tried the pretzel bites, with a star of the show being the beer cheese dip. We also split the Reuben and burrata bomb for our main meal. The Reuben was good though a bit on the saltier side, we enjoyed the burrata but would say that actually needed more salt. The blackberries were fresh and delicious. Service is simple with ordering downstairs and receiving a pager when food is ready. Being here on a Friday afternoon, it was very busy and pretty loud upstairs where we were able to find a seat.
