Great lunch at Everett's today - so good! I had the Everett Burger with white cheddar - loved the presentation of pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. Also loved the brioche bun. We stopped here for an early lunch and had the Thai peanut wings and my husband had a burger. We also split an order of the fries. Everything was hot and delicious and the aioli that came with the fries was especially delicious. They had good music playing and the staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent fried/grilled wings, tasty (non boring) pulled pork, guaranteed to be better than Steve what's his faces potluck pulled meat, that he supposedly won two unnamed rewards for. And I have no clue what they do with the brownies, but WTF, that thing hit my soul. I'm not even big on sweets, but I've dreamt of that brownie in my sweet sweet sleep. I may have or may not have woke up mid sleep with an angelic tingle all over my body, dreaming of such deliciousness. Oh and the staff was great, super chill atmosphere. I'll be back. I honestly don't know if I can sing this place's praises enough. The food is always fantastic. Their wings are massive relative to other places that sell wings and are always good. Their fry baskets (I personally love their #3 with Asian Slaw, White Cheddar, Thai Peanut sauce, and shredded chicken or pork) are simply to die for. I get one every time I go. I have yet to find something on their menu that hasn't been amazing. Their "Jill's Brownie" dessert is divine. It's a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle and it's just simply is the best thing ever. The vibes of the place is excellent. The staff are just amazing. They're very kind and welcoming. There's a particular staff, her name is Laura I think, she usually wears her hair up in a bun or with a clip or something, she remembers your name and is very on top of things. All of this to say, I totally recommend this place. My only complaint is that other people know about it and sometimes it gets busy! 5/5, very impressed. read more

Stopped by last weekend and the place was just filling up. We wear greeted as soon as we walked in and told to sit where we wanted. We were served drinks and provided menus that we looked over. Menu was limited but had some great choices. We both ordered Burgers and had some Ice Cold beer while we were waiting. Food was out quickly and was very tasty. A friend was coming to Omaha from Lincoln on a Saturday to visit. We prefer to eat at local places, preferably ones we've never been to before. I had a couple ideas written down, but I also did a Yelp search for restaurants in Northwest Omaha and Everett's showed up on the list. It is very close to my house, had great reviews, and I loved that they have a smaller menu. For those of you who are older and know this corner (88th & Maple), its behind the building that used to be Sizzlers. Their front door faces the backdoor of that building. All I can say is "where have you been my whole life????!!!!! The food was amazing. We had an order of brussell sprouts. I make sprouts at home alot seasoned similarly that are really good, but these are on a whole new level and were AMAZING. They will be ordered every time I visit. I chose to get the Veggie Sandwich, which is a grilled portabello mushroom. I love portabello sandwiches and this one was next level with phenomenal flavor. The toppings made it to the tart side for flavor, which I truly loved. The hand cut fries were also very tasty. I got a standard burger with cheese and bacon to take home to my other half. We eat our burgers well done and it was cooked perfectly. We also do not like angus burgers and were thrilled when we looked on the online menu and saw they use Ground Chuck. He said the burger was cooked perfectly and he loved the lettuce/tomato/pickled onions, including the cute little baby dill gherkins. Took him back to his childhood. He liked the fries as much as I. I also took home an order of wings that were Fried and Grilled. Had half the order with Extra Hot Thai Peanut which was very good, but we like a lot of heat so did not consider it Extra Hot. They also had a Cajun sauce that day so the other half was that and those had great kick for me. He ate them hot and when I got home later (I dropped off his food and went back out again) I tried them lukewarm and they still were so good. We are very picky about our wings and I will say the way they cook these and the sauce choices they had put them close to the top or at the top of wings we've tried in Omaha. We are so excited to find a place so close to our house that has a great small menu and great cooks/chefs. You can have a great menu, but if you don't have the right people in the kitchen who can execute the recipes you will not succeed. The people in their kitchen on this Saturday for a late lunch (after 1 pm) truly executed everything to perfection and should be applauded and bowed down for this. I'll be returning to this place time and time again until I get through all the items on the menu and then I can start over again. So refreshing to find a place where you have great servers and chefs who take pride in helping the restaurant succeed!!! read more

This review is 90% positive, but I have a complaint. First the positives. We've stopped in for carry-out twice now. I met Tyler the owner, a very nice guy, and he is obviously very proud of this new establishment and rightly so! It's just beautiful inside! I've also met Heather at the front counter and she is also very pleasant to chat with. The basket fries are very tasty and plentiful. We've tried both the #1 and #2. We have yet to try the pulled pork or chicken sandwiches. Now for the constructive feedback. The $11 burger is a huge disappointment. At any restaurant an $11 burger would be a showcase premier burger. I thought it was a fluke the first time we came in so we had to try them again. The patty is only a 1/4 lb. patty ( I asked ) and doesn't fill the bun. This is a shame because the burger is very tasty, and the toasted bun is to die for. But they either need to drop the price to match the burger, or increase the size of the patty. That being said, we will be back but will avoid the burgers. I'm a burger lover and it's a shame to have to miss out due to the feeling of not getting adequate value. My assumption is that the meat is more generous on the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, so perhaps we'll try that next time. Cheers! read more

The food here is good. The service is awful. Ordered take, at the restaurant because they had shut down their phone & online orders, but said you could order on location. They said it would be 20-30 minutes. It's now been over an hour! No food! They are now closed so hopefully they will catch up. Way in over their heads. I'm rooting for this restaurant to be successful. It's obvious they have put a lot of thought, hard work and love into launching it. It's a little tucked away and not super easy to find. Once inside you get a really good family vibe. The decor suggests elevated Americana cuisine. The menu is vey small, which Is fine, with the hopes is they have mastered everything on it and maybe they will expand in the future. I ordered the pulled pork and bacon burger. I thought it was delicious. The bun and the pulled pork were the star. My wife had wings. She enjoyed them. The wait for our food was a little longer than we would have liked, but they were busy, and I'm hoping they stay busy. read more

My husband and I went here a week ago on Tuesday and when we walked in we were very surprised at how nice it was! On the outside it doesn't look like much but the inside is very nice! It is a little loud inside but that was just our opinion. I ordered the wings and my husband ordered a burger that had BBQ sauce on it. The food took a very long time to come out like 40 minutes or so which it was later in the day so that wasn't the end of the world but then my order came back wrong. I ordered half BBQ and half Buffalo and I only got the BBQ. I told the waitress and she was about to grab my food and say she can fix it but I didn't want to wait another wait for food so I told her it was fine. The wings themselves were cooked GREAT! And so meaty! But personally I didn't care for the Carolina BBQ sauce. It was too sweet for me. When I've had Carolina style in the past it's been more vinegar-y and tangy and this wasn't. My husband agreed that it wasn't his favorite either. The fries were sooooo good! And they have they're own homemade ketchup which was good! I would try it again! Love this place have only had wings and fries and they are always so good! My wife had a pulled pork and Brussels and was super happy! Have yet to eat there but live close and the Togo always withstands the drive. Love seeing this place busy even it means my order isn't quite ready at the time it's supposed to. The two servers busting there butt around and non stop moving always made sure I was good and apologized for the delay. No tricky here. I've been here over 2 years and the wings are great. I only had tried the garlic/parmesan wings. I was made at myself later that night I didn't order some for later. To fry a naked wing, grill it then season it to come out to that perfection is a step above the rest. Others may boast about the best but there definitely is a new challenger. I was told the Thai peanut is awesome. Here are some of the flavors Carolina BBQ | Medium Hot | Extra Hot Thai Peanut | Saucy Rossy. The bar next is a cool spot also.
