Having grown up in the area I've also grown up on Açaí bowls. Historically Swami's was always my favorite. But in recent years their bowls changed and now their açaí always ends up kinda watered down or soupy. These guys have it figured out. $8 for a huge bowl with all the toppings you want! First time at an Everbowl, the service was good but the food overall is mediocre I found the fruit to be mushy and the taste to be pretty bland even though I added a lot into my bowl. I do really like the fact that you can build your own bowl but I wouldn't be back. read more

This is one of my go to places to get a yummy acai bowl. They have menu created items or you can make a customized bowl. I usually make the customized acai bowl because it is a flat rate and you can get whatever you want. There are no hidden or extra charges. If you want to add protein powder or super foods like goji berries, there is no extra charge. The bowls are a big portion too so worth the cost. They also have other kinds of fruit bowls like pitaya and smoothies as well. They are dog friendly and have a few tables outside their store front and would love to give your dog a treat. The staff is so friendly, kind, and helpful. They have a lot of knowledge about the menu and make sure your order is made just right. I am so sad about the changes made to "Everbowl 2.0". I used to LOVE Everbowl and would come in all the tine because there bowls tasted so fresh and good. I don't think I'll be coming back again. Now the açaí taste like they have added extra sugars and almost feels like I'm eating a sorbet. NOT GOOD. One of the workers told me that they now add "pineapple flavors" to the açaí instead of fresh bananas and blueberries. I understand that it speeds up the process when making the bowls, but I'd rather wait and have my açaí taste delicious instead of this. It tastes SO artificial and fake. The new flavors aren't good either. I'm so disappointed. PLEASE go back to the original way of making them! read more

Saw all of the great reviews so went to check it out. The bowl is great in terms of what you get, but when you are trying to eat healthy, seems like certified organic is a better way to go. The staff also is not as tuned in to the health benefits to the ingredients compared to other places that focus on healthy alternatives. This place falls into the category of nectar or Jamba juice if that is your jam. read more

Sad to see the whatever everbowl 2.0 version, same size as before now 11.95. Overall quality is sub par to the original. They took away half of the aspect of making your order custom. No longer able to add ingredients like Whey protein or almond milk to your whatever bowl, no more smoothies either. They pretty much made their employees jobs easier by taking away the blender and charging the customer more money for a less quality product. Sad to say after years of coming here I will not be coming back again. read more

So disappointed with the new menu. I buy açaí bowls here multiple times a week for me and my family and we love the fresh taste and multiple liquid options to choose from for blending. The new pre-made açaí is oily and over-sweet, not fresh tasting at all. My 5 year old asked if there was chocolate pudding in her cup! The preparation is faster now that the blender is not required, but I would rather wait a few minutes for a fresh, healthy tasting product. Please bring back the old bases! read more

Just had a bad experience. I walked in and the employees were friendly. The guy that took my order and rang me up was wearing food prep gloves, however, the girl making my smoothie was not. She played with her hair and then started grabbing spinach and other items to put in the smoothie. The spatula she used to remove the smoothie from the blender did not look clean and by this point I was grossed out. Ended up throwing it away. Im pregnant and can't risk getting sick. Was really disappointed I just spent 8 dollars on a smoothie I had to throw away. read more

I go to ALL the Everbowls in the county. 3 to 5x a week loyally I order the same exact thing. SAME EXACT thing! Everytime I come to Encinitas or Camel Valley I get denied what i want! I asked for extra scoops of plant protein.. So on Sat May 4, after a 2 hr drive from LA.. i missed my EVERBOWL! I stop by Encinitas and order my favorite! Sorry Were specifically told not to do that anymore. I was so HANGRY I just walked out. so I drive 30 minutes/ 35 miles south to Bonita where I know theyll make my treat.. with a smile they have no quarrels. I ask them why Encinitas would deny me.. whole store laughs and says Thats Fd Up. no reason to. Easter I eat at Mission Valley.. all good. next day I eat at Lil Italy.. all good. but Encinitas and Carmel Valley always has a problem with extra scoops of plant protein. I JUST WALK out and don bother arguing. Its sad but im beginning to really think its a WHITE thang.. SAD but true. 5x this has happened already. I spend hundreds with this company monthly and I hate how its always these 2 locations. Whats sad is the co-owner actually made my bowl before and said it was interesting. My next visit i get denied.. is a couple scoops of plant protein too much? WHY PUT "ANYTHING YOU WANT" IN THE BOWL but Deny it?? regardless..if you brown or black.. avoid these 2 places. Decided to stop by and try this place out after a long day at the beach. The staff was so friendly and inviting. The employee, Kim, behind the counter was knowledgeable about all the bowls and helped me design a bowl that ended up being exactly what I needed to recharge after surfing all day.
