We paid for 2 hours full service moving as well as the delivery and load for the container. That's what they charged us for, so we paid for that service. They showed up several hours late, at about 3:20, and because they had to bring the container back by five they left at 4:45. They immediately got into an argument with us and said they weren't going to take apart the furniture, despite one of the guys saying he heard his boss confirm they would do that for us. One of the guys was so angry about it he literally threw one of our lava lamps while packing it (it did not break). They also completely ignored our packing instructions and left a ton of stuff behind, while also packing things we didn't actually want. They were so eager to just get out of there that they packed everything horribly and admitted that a bunch of stuff would likely break in moving. The worse part was that they basically forced us to let them leave while there was still room in the container, without all of our stuff, because they had to bring the container back by five (something they had never told us). So we have empty room in this container but are paying fedex to ship things out. All of this because they were running late and couldn't actually give us the time we paid for. They still charged us for the full amount though. Update: I got a call today about this review, and the owner of this company offered me one hour back for my trouble but only if I removed this review. I told him that wasn't really reasonable, and he completely flipped out- started swearing, calling me names, and even making veiled threats about how it's good I already moved. This company is run by a con artist who will literally threaten you if you don't make his company look good. If you have a problem he will scream at you about how he's been in the business for ten years and he doesn't care about anything because he owns his own business. Do not let this person anywhere near you unless you're prepared for him to escalate any issue with threats of violence (or worse).

This last move I hired 3 workers for 4 hours to pack, load, and relocate everything to a storage unit. Not only did they do this, they protected me! They are not just amazing professionals, they are chivalrous gentlemen! This situation was unfortunately less than happy and my principal is chauvinistic narcissist. Prior to Isaac, Julius, and Matt (premium movers Mr. Aguilar sent), my boss had attempted to intimidate me and a crew of helpers I had. I was restricted the a time window and date to get my belongings due to the pettiness of my boss and the district. In every effort to make things difficult my boss scheduled AP testing in my classroom knowing of my arrival and that it was confirmed by his superiors. I share this information to set the emotional scene of what Isaac, Julius, and Matt walked into. Upon the arrival my personal crew and I had only just started packing. The plan was to already be an hour in. I gave them a brief synopsis of the situation. I don't know if it was the emotional state I was in, or what they were overhearing from some of the adults in the room, but Isaac, Matt, and Julius seemed to have picked up the air of what was going on and why things were the way they were. By the end, their comments made me feel like they understood that not only were they were serving as premium movers but also my protector from my boss who might come back and harass me. My genuine concern on behalf of premium movers was that I was not going to get what needed to be accomplished in 4 hours. That I would need an additional hour that I did not have cash for let alone could afford. I'm just a math teacher and I don't make a lot. Which brings me to why I started off that Premium Movers are worth every penny. When I first looked for movers I did a little researching. Prior to using premium movers I have typically always rented my own uhaul and relied on the good graces of friends and or family to help. This usually takes way longer. My initial hiring of Premium movers was for a two bedroom apartment from one town to the next. In that situation two men came and I reserved 4 hours and ended up needing 5. I moved from a ground floor apartment to an upstairs apartment. Not a single one of the movers made a complaint or grumble. The movers always come with a 22' truck and allllll the necessary equipment to move someone who has boxed and prepared everything, to someone who has not put a single thing in a box. No matter the situation, they don't make you feel judged. Letting strangers into your home is a vulnerable thing and not once did I feel judged or shamed. In fact every time I have apologized for circumstances the movers have made efforts to assure me they are happy to be of service. The owner or manager Mr. Aguilar, is an angel! He is so accommodating and understanding! Not only was he sympathetic to my situation this time, he even helped validate me in his compliments. Moving in any form is emotional and it's so clear that premium movers cares about their customers. They treat you like a human being with nothing but courtesy and respect. They are extremely efficient and know their craft. When I consulted Mr. Aguilar he advised me of how long and how many men might be needed. They have always met their time quote. In this situation under! In my research it seems that their rates are a little higher than others. Even people I have told said I was paying too much. Then I explain that they come with their own truck, qualified movers you can trust, and even packing equipment to help make things easier! Including wooden crates to protect valuables, ramp equipment, and the trucks have a lift! They don't squabble over miles and a penny here and a penny there. Mr. Aguilar and his crew just make you feel like it's their mission to help you in one of life's biggest stressors. You might ask why I would need movers for a classroom? Well I'm a 12 year teacher who prides herself in making her room like a sanctuary. When I move my class it is like moving a full studio apartment. Including heavy furniture and tons or school supplies. Isaac, Julius and Matt didn't show a hint of being overwhelmed, in fact the made me feel appreciated. I do not recommend these movers if you care about your belongings or don't want to be ripped off!…read more First of all, this company sent us only 2 workers for the job when we specifically told the owner, David, that it was a pretty big move. David then promised us that 2 men would show up, and another two would later come to help. Only 2 men showed up at 11 AM and no more after that. In the process of moving stuff out, one of the movers, Calixto, broke our TV stand. He was the only one lifting it and the side of it broke. After it had broken, he uncovered the protective blanket and left it there and continued to move everything else. It wasn't until I had to ask Joe, the other mover, what I can do about my TV stand. He told me I could reach out to David and file a claim and that's when Calixto finally took initiative to reach out to his boss with pictures. These 2 men showed up at 11 AM and worked until 1:30 PM (2 1/2 hours), took an HOUR AND A HALF lunch, and showed up at the next location at 3 PM. They finished the job at 4:30 PM which would be another 1 1/2 hours of work. In total, they worked 4 hours but with the "commute" it added another hour. The distance between the first location and the second location is 15 minutes which was rounded up to 30 minutes and for some reason DOUBLED and now it was an entire hour added to the total hours worked. The movers then kept saying that the total time worked was 5 1/2 hours and I kept trying to explain the time to them but they continued to insist it was 5 1/2 hours which would equal to almost $1400. Since the movers broke our TV stand, my boyfriend was able to talk to David and get a discount on the move which brought it down to $1000. However, upon setting up in our new place we had come to discover that they had also broken one of our monitors despite putting them in crates. This mishap is especially devastating to me since it was the first ever monitor I bought on my own for a gaming PC and holds such sentimental value to me. Overall, David's customer service was great but unfortunately he can't be out in the field for everyone. His employees are the ones that are the face of the company, and having such expensive items broken so carelessly shows how much they care for their customers.
