I called to request a quote for an upcoming move on 9/23/25 only to be met with complete uninterested dismissal. 1)The man answered the phone as "916" with no other greeting , no " how can I help you" nothing 2) I proceeded to say I wanted a quote for a one-bedroom move and without asking me any information such as inventory, addresses, date of move, nothing.. just says "Yea well minimum you'll have to pay is $525 (or whatever the dollar amount was) 3) rude, no breakdown in cost, no interest in my business, no getting my information, nothing. I just hung up the call because why would I ever do business with a company like that. **Seeing a lot of other reviews, I'm not the only one who thinks maybe a course in communication & customer service is needed. These guys were the best I unfortunately had to reschedule a few time due to unforseen circumstances they never had an attitude were so professional courteous to me each time they were the lowest cost compared to others they were on time they didn't waste time packed everything in cling wrap and completed a 3/2 home to an apt took down bed dressers mirrors as well as set back up all in 6 hours I couldn't believe it I dont think they even took a break I am so appreciative as well as they moved everything like it was there household stuff I highly RECOMMEND THANK YOU for being an outstanding business with great employees read more

I didn't even use their services. They called me to give me a quote, the second I answered the phone the guy on the call said he was from 916movers and was calling to give me a quote that I requested. I said oh ya, hi. He asked what size house I have and I told him 1400sqft, but I was only needing help with the large items not the whole house. He interrupted me and said, but the house is fully furnished..... my thoughts, um duh, I just said I was moving. Anyways, I told him yes, but again, I only need the couches, bed frames, mattresses type items moved. Then he asked me if I have a garage or shed, I said yes. I have a washer and dryer in the garage and a home gym in the barn. He says I need to disassemble the entire home gym since it's a pully system to get it out and they don't do that. I told him I'll just move it, it'll fit down my side yard without disassembling it. Then he back tracked and said oh well we can move it assembled if it'll fit. The whole conversations he sounded so annoyed and was very rude. He said it would be $825 for 3 guys and a minimum of 4 hours. They would bring a truck and dollies and shrink wrap........ I told him I was moving 5 miles away and already have a moving truck and just need the guys. I don't need a truck or moving equipment as I already have that. He said it didn't make sense for them to use the truck I already have if they are going to load up at the old house and then unload at the new house......That makes no sense to me. At this point I was over the conversation and felt like I should have just hung up a long time ago. I would never use a company that talks to a potential customer that way just for a quote!! When my power cable came up missing from my TV, the gentleman who handled it, bought and brought me a new one all the way out to my new home to replace it. I think that's pretty above and beyond! I normally don't leave negative reviews, but we've moved a lot over the last 10 years so I do have some experience with other movers. We hired them to pack up our moving truck for a cross country move. The two gentlemen that loaded our things were very kind and easy to work with. However, they started to stack boxes in the truck (before I noticed) with wardrobe boxes being the base of a 10 ft high stack. Wardrobe boxes cannot handle that kind of weight on top of them, so they collapsed, and that created a domino effect of all of our boxes falling over in the move. On top of that, they stacked heavy boxes onto a decorative long, skinny table, breaking the table with all the weight it was bearing. This was especially upsetting because it's a sentimental piece of furniture that can't be replaced. Unfortunately, I do not recommend them. read more

You say that you offered to come back and take the remaining stuff, however you were going to charge us again to do so. When it should have been completed the first time correctly. We asked if a walk through was needed and your guys said no. You are not a good company any longer. In response to their response....the movers told us we didn't need a walkthrough when we asked & you did not offer to go back unless we were charged more because it was such an inconvenience to you. Also, one of your guys was just standing around quite frequently, so it might not have taken as much time to begin with if they all actually worked. read more

They got there on time, and was very professional about everything. They took the clock apart, transported it securely, and put it back together. The person that schedules was very helpful & patient on the phone. He sounds disinterested but then takes the time to discuss things & problem-solve. We went with his suggestion fora team of 6 guys & 2 trucks, as our heavily furnished home probably would not have fit in just one. The team was friendly & great to work with. They were very efficient & even moved oddly packed things that we had set aside, thinking we would move them ourselves. They finished under the minimum - it was a bit of a whirlwind & after they left, I discovered some things that were moved to the wrong spot so I wish I'd caught it in time since we still had over an hour! Found some slight damage on one bookshelf, I think it had been tipped on its side & slid, & unfortunately some grit underneath caused scratches. Nothing major but missed in the final walk through because it had been placed backwards against the wall so I didn't see until I realized it was backwards & turned it around a week later. Oh well.
