I hired Goldman Movers in Sacramento on September 6, 2026. Unfortunately, I had several problems with my move. During the move, my lamp was broken and my metal stand was damaged and broken. My new home was also damaged, including scratches on the floors, cracks and dents in the walls, and damage to the stairs. These damages were not there before the move. I was also quoted a lower price than what I was ultimately charged. When I tried to address the pricing difference and file a damage claim, I was given different phone numbers and sent back and forth between contacts. I also communicated with David, who said he was the manager, but the process continued to go back and forth. I was repeatedly told that the proper claim paperwork would be emailed to me so I could request reimbursement, but I did not receive the paperwork I was told I would receive. I am requesting reimbursement for the repair costs for my floors, walls, and stairs, replacement or repair of my damaged belongings, and a refund of the disputed difference between my original quote and final charge. I expected a smoother process and better follow-up when damage occurred. Unfortunately, getting the claim addressed has been much more difficult than it should have been. read more

THEY SHOWED UP EARLY! Already winning. They had our entire truck loaded in about an hour and a half and they were incredibly careful with everything. They wrapped all of our delicate items and brought so many supplies that I'm pretty sure they could have moved a small museum if we asked. And the best part? NO SURPRISE FEES. What they quoted is what we paid. We were moving from a single-story house into a two-story house, so these guys got to experience the joy of stairs. LOTS of stairs. They worked their butts off and carried everything upstairs without missing a beat. They were professional, hardworking, efficient, careful, and just genuinely great people to work with. These guys were wicked fast. I appreciated them being conscious of time and getting things done quickly. Besides a full home move, they helped me put two beds together and set the sectional in place. A couple things I didn't love... while paying with a credit card incurred a 4% transaction fee (which is understandable) so did using Venmo. Wish I would've known that prior. Also, paying with a card mandated taking a pic of my DL. Did not like that at all. Other than that, they were fantastic and I'd use them again... but would make sure I paid in cash. read more

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Goldman Movers for our move from Roseville to Los Angeles. Stephen and Sanya were amazing from start to finish. They arrived right on time at both places and were incredibly polite, professional, hardworking, and careful with everything we owned. They handled all of the furniture disassembly and reassembly, made sure everything was protected during the long drive, and then helped us organize and move some of the heavier pieces exactly where we wanted them once we arrived. Our new home is in a winding canyon area of LA that isn't exactly the easiest place to navigate with a moving truck, but they handled it without any issue. What really put them over the top was what happened after we realized that a few items had accidentally been loaded that were supposed to stay behind in Roseville. Stephen and Sanya were incredibly accommodating and agreed to take them all the way back to our original place for us. That was truly above and beyond. A long-distance move is stressful, but Stephen and Sanya made the entire process so much easier than we expected. I'd say his promptness won him the business as his quote came in similar to several others that I had solicited. His crew of 4 young men, led by Daniel, came in on schedule and worked very hard and all with friendly and professional attitudes.
