Used this business twice. First time to move stuff into storage and second to move out of storage the following week. They had a great rate and it was inclusive. They also had availability on short-notice. My closing got pushed back so I had to move into storage instead of just house to house. Both times I had 2 movers and 1 truck. I'm not positive, but I believe the main guy's name was Ciro (He was there both moves). He was very professional, worked quickly and carefully, and didn't waste time. He plastic wrapped all my furniture very securely and used the moving blankets I provided. These guys gotta be Tetris or puzzle champs because they packed the truck perfectly. The other guy on first move I think was named Peter. He also did a good job, but not as good as Ciro. Second move, again Ciro was great. WORST moving experience I ever had. I have moved for four years in a row, so I know. When they showed up, I noticed that they only sent two people to empty a storage bin and a one-bedroom apartment. The two people they sent were not up to par. Two men, one man in maybe his late thirties and another man in his late 70s, early 80s, all bent over. I never got their names. They were putting my items into a POD for me to move out of state. They did not listen to any of my directions or concerns. They did what they wanted to do. They put my items in the POD they way they wanted. Never tied anything down. I wanted my storage items in first and my home items in last, so I could get them out first when I got home. That didn't happen. They wrapped up items so weirdly. My printer was attached to the top of my dresser by the wrap. So odd. My dresser leg was broken off. My armoire leg broke. My TVs were not tied down, so one of my TVs had a huge crack in it when I went to take it out. I am so sad and angry that I hired them. I paid a lot of money for things to be broken, men to not listen to me because I am a woman. It took them over four hours to do a storage unit and a one-bedroom apartment, and they didn't finish. Be careful of who they send to your house and then charge you over $550. To reply to you: you said about my moving in June and not getting back with you. Also, the pod wasn't even delivered for three weeks I have very bad autoimmune disease. I use a cane and I can't walk around really good sometimes it depends on how my body is feeling I wake up some days feeling like the tin man. So five days after moving here, I fell and broke my wrist. Five days after that, I had surgery to put a plate in my wrist with screw. Two weeks after that I went and had x-rays done and the plate had moved. So it is not fixed and I have to have it re-broken and the plate refixed. I also hurt my back during that time and I have been in excruciating pain. I have been without my prescribed medicine from California because Iowa is a horrible state that I moved to. I've been trying to get a doctor. I've been trying to get a job. I've had a lot on my plate. I even have tried to get my car fixed because I got my car fixed right before I left and paid $4000 to get it fixed and now my engine light is on again. What the hell is that???? Yeah, I've had a fun time since I left and I'm just now getting back to you. Sorry. I don't care how long it's been your company was the worst moving company I've ever used and I would not have anyone use you or recommend you to anyone. For you not to offer any compensation for what your guys did to me? Or treated me...That's ridiculous. They took all my blankets that were on my bed and used them as things to stuff and cover things with and I said I'm gonna need those for when I move because my POD isn't gonna be here for three weeks. Well they had already put all my blankets at the very back of the POD, like I asked for them not to do so they had to go and take everything out of the POD to get to my blankets and then put everything back so that wasted about 20 minutes of them doing that. So don't tell me they didn't listen to me because I'm a woman they just walked around doing whatever the fuck they wanted. I can take pictures. I don't care if I documented it or not you know the two worthless men you sent to me and they didn't do it. I said. I am a woman and I had a witness there, and I can prove that they didn't listen to me. My friend was helping them put boxes in there to be faster. He also had to help me finish up because they couldn't finish up. Horrible service you guys have and horrible reply you sent back to me. Your customer service just lacking too. I can call the pods and have the guy that dropped the pod off give me a written statement saying that when he dropped it off it was horrible when he opened it. He said nothing was tied down like you're supposed to have it. My TVs were the front they weren't even wrapped in anything no special anything. Just sitting naked. . I don't want to break that 5 star streak nor is this even worth 4; It's more of a 3.8 but I will be nice. I spoke to Jessica via email, phone call and text. I had scheduled for a move a week in advance and was told of pricing per hour. She was kind and helpful. Upon the date of move, I received at text that stated the time of when the movers would arrived, 35 mins after my appointment time due to customer misinforming the movers. No biggy. Then that appointment continue to get pushed back further and further till it was 2 hours past what I had initially scheduled for. Mind you, the week of move was raining, too. Again, not blaming the movers since they had to adjust their time with the previous customer and rain being part of the factor. Once the movers finally arrived, they did what they needed to do but the time they started and time they finished wasn't even close to two hours so we had to pay for the two hours, plus items being wet from said rain, and on top of that, since I was on a work call, my hubby felt obligated to tip them...we didn't have a lot of stuff and they weren't driving our items to our destination. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Planning, estimate/quote: I communicated with Jessica to plan my move from a 2 bed apartment to a house and she was very thorough with their services and expectations. She sent a confirmation and reminder for the day of my move and also let us know who'd be helping me. Packing, moving, unloading: Alex and Zhao were the two that helped with the actual moving process. Alex was also very communicative and always made sure to confirm with me on what to pack and where to unload after moving. Him and Zhao made it look so easy to load their giant moving trailer and really did things pretty efficiently. They wrapped everything that looked fragile with either plastic wrap or a moving blanket and made sure to also tape it. When they started unloading, they also put down some covers to make sure the dolly's weren't messing up the floor. How long: It took them about 4.5 hours to load the trailer, move, and then unload everything. My wife and I did some packing beforehand (mostly kitchenware, closet stuff, and tech), so it would have been longer if we had them pack everything.
