After interviewing more than a few pavers i decided to go wirh John Evans, and im sure glad i did! I had Evans Paving tear out my old concrete driveway and put in a beautiful asphalt drive. Well its a year later and i have to say the work has really held up well. Its pitched perfectly away from the house so the rain goes where i want it. So happy with the work, i had John back out to seal it this year. Johns a busy guy so you have to be a little patient in that respect. But for price and quality of work done, it is well worth it. Called on a Tuesday to coordinate for an estimate for a large driveway replacement project. Mr. Evans texted back within a half hour. Responded to his text, and received no response back. I called him Wednesday morning and he told me he would come to our home around 2:00 that same day. After waiting till 4:00 with no show, I call him again. No apologies for blowing off our appointment, but he promises to come at 4:00 on Friday. No show again for the second appointment. Mr. Evans lacks any sort of professionalism. John gave me a very reasonable quote to dig up and repave my entire driveway, and he and his crew did not disappoint. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done. They did not use sand to fill the cracks in the driveway as all the previouse companies we have used have but used hot tar sealer. John Evans and Evans Paving did a wonderful job. We could not be happier. We called many other contractors in the area and received a few estimates, but John took the time to personally educate us on the work that was going to be done and the process that was going to be followed. He was present the entire time the job was being done and followed up after completion to make sure that we were 100% satisfied. They also need not make a huge mess. They were very careful around landscaping and our paver sidewalks. Even after he was paid in full, he came out and touched up an area by a drain that was needed. Thank you John. John (the owner) was absolutely fantastic to work with. He provided me 2 quotes: 1 for high end replacement of base and top asphalt layer, and 1 for resurfacing project only...both were fair prices and I trusted him since he was local and not a sub-contractor working with an estimation company. Communication was good, and he always got back to me after leaving messages. The crew he used were polite and respectful, and John did a thorough job cleaning up and checking the work with me upon completion. I will certainly use him again for anything asphalt and sealcoating. read more

They are gypsy scammers they approach you at your door and offer to reaseal coat the drive way at a low ball price in my case the man named joe offered a price at $100 then once I agreed the older man came out of their truck and said that the price I first revived was to low end the kid didn't know what he was talking about so then he jacked up the price to $650 but promise to fill all cracks and a few pot holes it took them around 20 minuets to do all work I thought to myself that was fast I then ask the older man about it he said that it only a takes about an half hour and not to walk in it till tomorrow or 48hr if you can the next day I went to take a look at the work turn out they didn't even fill any cracks and patch one pot hole that is around 4 inches round I called them they promised me that they will come back and fix the work and that they did fill the cracks and that they are to big that the hot tar just went tru and tru the crack later on I searched up ther address came up as the company so I decided to go thear and talk to the president of the company turns out it's a psychic maybeif I would have went to her first she could have told me they were b.s lolllol but still i wish I would have just done the work myself also the materiel they used in the drive way started to pull up Whitin 3 days and they said that they will come and redo it but it's been 6.monts since then and I don't think they will be coming back any time soon read more

My husband & I highly recommend Evans Paving. John Evans gave us a very fair estimate to start - not super expensive, but not so cheap that you're getting subpar service (you get what you pay for). He explained the entire process, what was wrong with our old driveway & how to correct the issues with the new driveway. Gave us lots of good advice knowing that we could potentially hire someone else too. He was professional, knowledgable & friendly. He was also very honest & didn't try to create extra work that wasn't needed. John gave us some worst-case scenarios depending on what was found underneath our old asphalt - very appreciated since the foundation was a mess & we at least had the extra cost already factored into the final cost.
