Henry's experience came through as he recognized the problem immediately. He also noted that the bricks are no longer manufactured as my home was built in the late 60's. Additionally, he recognized where the seal along our porch may need to be redone as well as the tuckpointing in an area by the bricks in question. This would've only happened with Henry as he was looking at the corner and the overall aesthetic impression when approaching the house. His team came out and refinished the bricks and brought that corner back to its original state. I truly believe that Henry's artistic background coupled with his experience, he was able to match the color and texture of the original bricks. Our chimney needed tuck pointing in addition to various places around our home. They provided a very nice quote and seemed eager for the job. We had to wait about a month for them to come out and do our work. The work they did was not the best - our house was built in 1960 and the brick cannot be matched. I understand that, but he told us that we'd need to buy our own paint/stain for the new bricks they installed if we really wanted the bricks to match. They tuck pointed our chimney and did an okay job. Unfortunately, they forgot to install a cap for one of the chimney vents. During a very heavy rain, we had water seeping into our brick fireplace for the first time in the 10 years we've lived here. Our original quote contained a page full of photos of the areas to be tuck pointed, including a section on the front of our house. As of today, that section has NOT been tuck pointed. I spoke to the owner of Riteway and he assured us his team would be out to complete that section. That was back in September. I've repeatedly called their company to schedule someone to come out and finish the work. I've spoken to the office manager who assured me they would be out by the end of the week. That was back in October. This infuriates me because Rich came by to collect the check for the work and asked for it to be paid in full. I paid, thinking they would finish the small section that is still in need of repair. Boy, was I wrong. Don't pay them in full until the job is COMPLETE. I would give them more stars if they would simply come back to my home and finish the job they started. Horrible customer service, no follow-up, no concern for the water that damaged my indoor fireplace. A few years ago, they tuck pointed our neighbor's house. My husband caught them wiping concrete on our elm tree. That should have been a sign not to use this company, but I really thought their quality of work would outweigh them being sloppy with customer service. DO NOT use this company.
