Its generally understood that you slow down a bit when crossing bike paths and are respectful of the areas you require travel through. I would believe that someone who operates a biz in Lombard would be more mindful of this. Apparently not today.

He would remove the old surface and let it sit for two weeks and come back to repave it. That was 5/17/26 After six weeks of excuses about how much rain we had, (2 days out of 42) we finally got our driveway replaced. The biggest problem is they couldn't get the pitch right and now it drains onto my neighbor's patio and into his window well. I don't have enough space to explain in detail all the other quality of work issues that we had with them! We wished we used Happy or Shamblin paving instead, who were willing to finish when these clowns left us hanging with virtually zero communication whatsoever. We had to call him every single time to figure out when we could expect him to come back.

I have a very large driveway on my farm -- honestly, it's more like a parking lot. We agreed on a fair price, a date, and that the sealcoat would be hand applied. Mr. B's crew arrived early, worked efficiently, and finished the entire job in about 2.5 hours. When they were done, the driveway looked absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, about an hour later, Mother Nature had other plans. An unexpected and extremely heavy rainstorm came through and lasted for several hours. The rain washed away portions of the fresh sealcoat, and even worse, water pouring off the roof of my shop splashed sealcoat onto the bottom three feet of the steel siding. It was everywhere, and it did not want to come off. I was genuinely concerned that the siding on my building might be permanently damaged. I called Mr. B and explained what had happened. His response told me everything I needed to know about the kind of business he runs. He was extremely apologetic and immediately assured me that he would do whatever it took to make things right. He even told me that if the siding had to be replaced, he would replace it. Less than five days later, Mr. B personally returned with his crew. They painstakingly cleaned every droplet, mark, stain, and discoloration from the affected siding. I honestly couldn't believe the result -- they got ALL of it off. You would never know anything had happened. Then, on top of that, they completely recoated my entire driveway at no additional cost. Anyone can look good when everything goes perfectly. What really shows the character of a business is how they respond when something goes wrong. Mr. B stood behind his work, kept his word, and made absolutely certain that I was taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. B and his crew. They are top-notch professionals who do excellent work at a reasonable price, with a level of follow-through, integrity, and customer service that is increasingly hard to find. If you need sealcoating done and want to work with someone who takes pride in his work and truly stands behind it, I highly recommend Mr. B's Sealcoating in Montgomery, IL. Amazingly, the sun came out when they showed up. 2) They took a weedwacker to the edges of the driveway so they could seal coat the edges properly.
