We have used Gonzales sealcoating for years. They do a great job filing in the cracks and sealing the driveway. We also use them for aeration, dethatching and overseeding for years. They do great work. read more

Lowest price by far, prompt communication, and prompt, on schedule work for a driveway seal coat!!

Positive: Professionalism Thank you again Gonzalez Services for a terrific job detaching, aerating and overseeding. This is the second year I utilized their services. Once again I was amazed how much dead grass came from our lawn. Gonzalez overseeded our entire lawn and put extra seed on all the bare spots. They also aerated our entire lawn . Once again there price was $70-90 cheaper than other landscaping services. read more

I would not use this company very rude and they came out to do my driveway. It rained four days straight never fully dried every time I hose down the driveway. Black coating comes pouring out of my driveway when my cars are parked on it tire mark smell to it. Very bad job would not recommend this company to anyone when I called to let them know what was happening did not even want to come out and look at it and told me it was my problem and I was crazy very unprofessional did a very crappy job had to ask them to do it over when I paid extra for oil spills. Would not be in business company. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They did a regular sealcoat service in October of last year. We didn't nothing strange no plows or crazy scraping of any kind on the driveway. It started wearing off in April of this year after only 4 months. By 6 months it was totally gone. I called and was told oh well nothing we can do, wouldn't even offer a discount of any kind to redo. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM. read more

Gonzalez Services and Sealcoating applied sealcoating to the driveway during rain, which splattered onto the garage door. When they came to clean it, they damaged the finish of the garage door, leaving it a different color than the rest of the door. read more

Nice clean and accurate job. They even did a decent job on the cracks. I'm very happy with the job overall. read more

Loved the reasonable price I received for Sealcoating my 2 car driveway. They arrived on time and did a great job.

They did a great job of sealcoating my driveway. They responded quickly and had the work completed within a few days.

They did my driveway and a couple hours later it started raining very hard. The driveway now looks Worse than it did Before We got it done. I called them this morning and was basically told I'm a Liar. That's awful! All he had to say is next time were out in Crystal Lake, we'll take a look at it. Instead he's screaming at me, saying if tar isn't all over my garage door, I'm lying. For ten years they've been aerating and dethatching our lawn and doing our driveway and we've never complained. The First time we have a problem. THEY JUST DON'T CARE! HE GOT MAD AT ME! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

No professionalism. Not honest about the work being done or what can be fixed with "crack filler and seal coating"

I've been using these guys for years always on time and always very professional they do a great job, last year they seal coated my driveway it rained a few hrs later and they came back the next day and resealed the driveway, awesome customer service. read more

Update: owner called and after speaking with him about what happened he has apologized for the behavior of his employees. I do believe in second chances hopefully this professional relationship can be restored. -------- Very disappointing experience. We were referred to this company for driveway sealing. After giving a service window of 5 hours and being told we were the 2nd or 3rd house on the list. They completely missed the window by almost an hour no phone call to let us know they were running late. We called multiple times and left a message to no longer come because we were on our way out and no one would be home. Well they show up 5 minutes after that. They do the work which they mentioned only takes 10 minutes! Workers were nice for the most part. Then my Mother in law gets a very aggressive phone call telling her that SHE was rude and to never call them again. Very unprofessional. We will not be using this company again. We should have read the reviews on here before booking. read more

My neighbor and I had our driveways done recently in Saint Charles. It had rained after they seal coated and once it dried it wasn't the greatest job, but neither of us called to complain. Out of the blue the owner showed up a few days later at the door and said "I'm not happy with how it turned out, we are going to resealcoat your driveway." I couldn't believe it and was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend this company. You don't find that often anymore. read more

We were expecting the grass to be removed prior to the sealant being applied to the driveway, nope not done. When I called to ask for this they stated they do not do that. read more

I've been using them for years to sealcoat my driveway and they have always been professional, neat and fast... however, the guy who usually does the scheduling is not all that personable and can be a little vague on when they'll be out. read more

Did a great job seal coating our driveway for a very fair price ($60 for 3 car). On time, and quick.

Complete unprofessionals; easily the worst customer service I have received in life. They left a flyer in my yard for their seal coating service. When I called them, they put me on hold and picked up again after a few minutes. They told me they were scheduling appointments in my area after 15 days and then disconnected in the middle of conversation. I called again a few times thinking it was a network issue but was stunned when I was told that I shouldn't call back again. I wonder how they run their shoddy business. read more

WARNING!!! Be careful of this company! This company does lawn services and sealcoating. I had this company do lawn services on my property. While they were working, they left the gate to my fence open on a windy day. Needless to say, the gate was ripped off the hinges. The workers had the nerve to tell me that my gate was like that, before they went in the backyard. I was home at the time, so I know exactly what happened. I called the business to let them know what happened. The response I got from this company was it was a windy day and it was my problem! They refused to fix my gate I understand accidents happen, but where is the customer service. That's right! THERE IS NONE! I'm still working to get my gate fixed by this company. Thouht I share this with you all. My advice don't use this company! Use a local company in your area! NO ADVERTISING FLYERS! BEWARE!!! read more

This will be my 4th years using Gonzalez Service & Seal-coating. Last year, I was supposed to file complaint via BBB, but I thought I want to give them another chance. They came by did my 4th yrs drive way seal coating on 9/17 around 12-2pm. About 1-2hrs later, it rained. I came back from work and I notice that the coat sealer rinsed right off and the crack line exposed. I called Gonzalez (the owner) explained to him what happened and asked that his crew come back up to re-coat; he get very defensive, very rude, and challenged every points I try to make. After a few moment of talked on the phone, he decided he will send a team back to inspect which is today (09/24). The result of the inspection is "nothing wrong" on the invoice sheet. This is unbelievable! Asides from the rude treatment on the phone, now he total do not want to re patch or re-seal my drive way. This is the first time in my life that I file complaint. I do not want anyone gone through the same dilemma I have with the worst customer service I have ever encounter. Use him at your own risk! read more
