My main problem with this company was their serious lack of communication with me. They would call when they were already in route and leave little information on what to expect. I was supposed to know the ins and outs of a chimney rebuild with NO explanations from the supposed professionals. I never really had any conversations with them unless they didn't show up and I would call to find out why. My 1st impression was on the day they were supposed to start work here, after waiting 6 weeks, they requested to push the job back 2 more days. When I was not happy about that idea, Lenny said Ok they would start the next day. The next day Ethan showed up late, set up some scaffolding and then left at 10:30 never to return. Elite had successfully pushed my job back the 2 days they originally wanted in a very sneaky way, by pretending they were starting my job. I really don't appreciate a company that I have hired to act in such an unprofessional manner, thinking they pulled a fast one on their client. Nothing was ever communicated to me through the entire rebuild. Oh, but the day they finished they could knock on the door because final payment needed to be made. The invoice was in my email promptly the next morning. Previously they would maybe show up, maybe not a couple times with no explanation at all. This company felt no need to communicate with the client unless they wanted something. If I questioned something I was an annoyance to anyone associated with Elite. I was a non person with a checkbook to them. Not the kind of company I like to hire for a company with the highest quote! I could not tell you about the quality of the actual rebuild , I was relieved the stress was over. I certainly would not recommend Elite to anyone because in my opinion they are terribly unprofessional and did nothing to educate me about the process, did not like being questioned and after they received final payment reached out so they didn't get a bad review. I hired Concrete Hero to raise slabs in my driveway that had sunk so that water would run away from…read morethe foundation of my house. I explained this to the sales rep, we agreed the objectives, and I signed a contract for a fixed price. The team arrived as scheduled but failed to raise the slabs enough to direct water away from my foundation even though I made it clear about my objective. I even made them stop packing up their equipment to raise it more - but they stopped before the pitch was enough. I tested the slabs the next day after the patching material was dry with the hose and the water still ran towards my foundation. I contacted the company multiple times and was finally told there would be an additional cost to raise it further. I explained that I agreed with the sales rep (and he agreed) that the objectives was to move water away from my foundation. They stopped responding to my outreaches. I was then forced to contact the BBB and file a complaint. This got their attention and they agreed to come back and finish the job at no additional cost. The team came by a couple of days ago to raise the slabs to get the proper pitch. However, they place a jack under the slab rather then just injecting foam (probably to save on materials) and it cracked 2 of my slabs. Now the slabs are raised properly, but I have cracked cement as a result of their work. Given my experience and their lack of customer service, I would never recommend this outfit to anyone.

He would remove the old surface and let it sit for two weeks and come back to repave it. That was 5/17/26 After six weeks of excuses about how much rain we had, (2 days out of 42) we finally got our driveway replaced. The biggest problem is they couldn't get the pitch right and now it drains onto my neighbor's patio and into his window well. I don't have enough space to explain in detail all the other quality of work issues that we had with them! We wished we used Happy or Shamblin paving instead, who were willing to finish when these clowns left us hanging with virtually zero communication whatsoever. We had to call him every single time to figure out when we could expect him to come back.
