Concrete Hero - Garage Floor Coating I came across Concrete Hero by doing my own search for a particular Garage Floor Coater as I linked onto their extensive website. Everyone has marketing schemes & sales pitches, but I was interested in the work itself, and the Concrete Hero Site shows you what they can do! Great work--right there for you to see. The Videos were great & the direct, no-nonsense communication from the owner Pete was quite knowledgeable. After contacting them, our rep showed right on time, shook my hand, evaluated my garage and we had a clear-cut exchange of possibilities. Made me feel comfortable. We chose their company out of 3 potential competitors. The Hero Crew that showed was top-notch, courteous, quick, and yes--very clean. We couldn't be happier with the complete sealed & polished space that took us out of what was old & into what is now new! Thanks Concrete Hero! Absolute "Grade-A Recommendation" from us! -Richard P. read more

I hired Concrete Hero to raise slabs in my driveway that had sunk so that water would run away from the foundation of my house. I explained this to the sales rep, we agreed the objectives, and I signed a contract for a fixed price. The team arrived as scheduled but failed to raise the slabs enough to direct water away from my foundation even though I made it clear about my objective. I even made them stop packing up their equipment to raise it more - but they stopped before the pitch was enough. I tested the slabs the next day after the patching material was dry with the hose and the water still ran towards my foundation. I contacted the company multiple times and was finally told there would be an additional cost to raise it further. I explained that I agreed with the sales rep (and he agreed) that the objectives was to move water away from my foundation. They stopped responding to my outreaches. I was then forced to contact the BBB and file a complaint. This got their attention and they agreed to come back and finish the job at no additional cost. The team came by a couple of days ago to raise the slabs to get the proper pitch. However, they place a jack under the slab rather then just injecting foam (probably to save on materials) and it cracked 2 of my slabs. Now the slabs are raised properly, but I have cracked cement as a result of their work. Given my experience and their lack of customer service, I would never recommend this outfit to anyone. read more

Concrete Hero did my garage floor a few years ago and did a great job. It looked awesome at first, but after a while, a few issues started to pop up. To his credit, the owner came out, took a look, and did what he could to fix it--no excuses, no attitude, just wanted to make it right. Eventually, the problem got worse. Instead of trying to dodge it or blame something else, he completely owned it and redid the whole floor. He told me this was the first time he'd seen something like this happen, and I believe him. But more importantly, he promised I'd be happy when it was all said and done--and I totally am. You don't find that kind of accountability often. I wouldn't go with anyone else for this kind of work. Concrete Hero earned my trust, and I highly recommend them. read more

Super responsive team. Estimate and completion done in just a couple of days. Thorough in their description with pictures of what needed to be done as well as the process. They even attended to a few items on sight that I was not expecting within the estimate I was given. No shenanigans :-). Highly recommend!! read more

Concrete Hero came out to give several neighbors estimates at once. Excellent sales person, did not try to oversell the service and products. Was honest and forthcoming about what they could and couldn't do and answered all questions. Four of the folks in my neighborhood decided to go with them and I am thrilled with the job they did, how fast they did it and the price they charged, along with a generous discount for each of the neighbors. read more

Prompt, courteous and great results. Would recommend to anyone who needs concrete leveling.

Our garage floor was a nightmare. It was cracked, pitting and filthy. Concrete Hero performed a miracle with it. They filled all the cracks, ground down the pitting and coated it beautifully. The price certainly seemed reasonable to me considering the amount of labor that was put into it. Using Concrete Hero is one of the best decisions we have made with our home. read more

The company was professional, they do not seem like bad guys. However, their quote ended up being only about $20 less than the cost of pouring a completely new walkway, so the value just did not make sense at all. I decided to go ahead and pour a new one instead. read more

Concrete Hero's customer service is great! They performed work on our front walkway and pool deck. Scheduled the job a few days after quoting it! We're very happy with the work they did. Also competitively priced. I recommend Concrete Hero! read more

We only had a small job about 40 feet of front sidewalk that had settled in all directions and fallen away from the front porch by about 5". Concrete Hero was willing to take this relatively small job, fit it into their schedule. They came out and did a terrific job, cleaned up leaving as though without a trace except the sidewalk looked new again and everything was properly aligned. A great job and we expect to call on them for basement floor finishing. Peter S. read more

I contacted Concrete Hero to raise my patio that was sinking. I asked if I needed to be present and the lady that called to schedule said no since my patio is accessible (corner street side lot with no fence). Peter came out to inspect the patio and I did not hear back. I waited a week and called the office. The lady said I should have received it the same day and she would look into it. Week goes by with no follow up. I create another request and same thing happens, but this time I receive a quote from Cam. I accept the quote, and, on the contract, I check off that they can do the work at any time. Over a week goes by, then I get an email from Peter that the job cannot be done at this time because of a column on the patio that does not have an expansion joint. My issues are: The lack of follow up to get a quote. That 2 different people did not recognize the issue originally or if they did, not communicate it to us. Was this from lack of experience or knowledge? In the email, that the job cannot be done at this time. Is the issue going to magically fix itself later? Why someone would not call and explain the issue just shows a lack of customer service. I would not recommend this company. read more

I called for an appointment to have someone come to look at my garage floor that is cracking and is not even. The lady I spoke to was very professional and verified they could do what I needed. Todd came out the next day and looked at the garage floor. He told me the only thing that he suggests to do is clean out the cracks and concrete caulk them. He would not suggest raising and lowering to even it out. I recommend this company as persons who know their business and are honest. Two other companies gave me prices to raise and lower the floor and I know that was not a good suggestion as I am a 30 year home builder. read more

we had cracks in our concrete driveway and front walk. All of the cracks were repaired beautifully. The service was excellent.

They were competitively priced, and they followed up. I asked for a small bit of additional work, and they came out and took care of it at nop additional charge. Couple this with a 5-year guarantee! I recommend Concrete Hero. read more

The Concrete Hero team was great during the entire process. I should have done this sooner. I'm glad it's done and I'm very happy with how my driveway came out with raising certain concrete areas and silicon in the cracks that needed it. Pete and his team truly did an amazing job. I did my research and their team truly stood above 4 other competitors. In fact, I got their name as a referral as well and I am glad that I heard of them. The crew was very professional and knew their stuff especially when I came to building codes. The work they did was high quality. I would highly recommend Concrete Hero to everyone. read more

Communication is very poor with this company. I paid them to raise the concrete in my sidewalk in a couple places and they came out and raised it. Within a week, I noticed in one place it was uneven again. I called them and emailed them multiple times and after several weeks they finally responded and told they would come out and look. When they came out, they told me they could not fix because of some reason. "It was as good as it was going to get". I called another very popular concrete lifting company and they came out and said that wasn't true and were shaking their heads. I then left several emails for Concrete Hero and nobody responded. Seems once they do a job they don't want to come back and fix their work. They have ghosted me. read more

Be forewarned!! SHADY business!! Chris (estimator) and Pete (owner of the company) came out to my house while I was away to give me an estimate for raising my stoop, sealing a crack, and sealing my concrete sidewalk in the front of my home. The next day, I called Chris to follow-up on the quote and the told me he took pics of my patio in the backyard and forwarded them on to someone who could help seal them- all without my consent!! I sent several emails to Pete and called his office and left a message for him to call me back with the secretary. I did not receive a reply. I sent him one last email telling him I have not gotten a reply and was going to file a complaint and post reviews. I finally got a short reply basically justifying their actions not an apology for violating our privacy and our home. He said, "I understand your concerns. I was with Chris when we came to complete the estimate and he was trying to be helpful by referring you to another service provider who can assist with the pavers. I will make sure he deletes the photos. Sorry for any discomfort this may have caused." There is no acknowledgement of any wrong doing or invasion of privacy or being unprofessional. Yeah, it could have been nice IF they had asked first BEFORE deciding to roam our property, take pictures AND share them with some unkonwn person to me!! I thought that going with a local business, there would be more care for my home, but it was the exact opposite! In a day when there are so many break-ins, thefts, robberies, and distrust in this world, how is it ok to come to someone's house and do this?? I will never do business with a company that has no respect for me, my property and my privacy. Do yourself a favor and take you business somewhere else!!! read more

I've used Concrete Hero for two different projects. The first project was a driveway lift and they did an excellent job. That was done a few years ago and everything still looks great. Their pricing was competitive and the end product looks great. read more
