One of our springs broke on Saturday and we were just going to wait until Monday because the company we've gone with in the past, doesn't answer the phones on the weekend. Couldn't have asked for, or expected any better then Evans & Associates! Had a tensioner spring snap in half early Monday morning. Contacted Evans & Associates around 10:00am, and the repair was completed before noon! They were able to no only get me serviced the same day, but within 1 hour of the call. Best yet, the repair cost little more then the cost of the replacement springs (which, incidentally, I was not able to get a hold of for at least 2-3 days to do the repair myself) Steve was the repairman, and he was courteous, professional, and respectful. What a great experience! My garage door finally stopped working and my home warranty company connected me with Franklin. Franklin called soon after they had sent them my work order. He came that same day and assessed that a new garage door opener was necessary. Since I live out of town he was able to work his schedule to allow him to come the next day to install. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. He walked me through some of the features not on my old opener. They came out to our home as a recommendation from our Home Warranty Company. The home warranty didn't cover the issue we had and the owner said he could take care of it but it would be an additional $60.00 - we were good with that. However, when the owner saw that fixing it was not as big of an issue as he assumed, he didn't charge us the additional $60.00. Such a nice guy and so honest - he definitely could have charged us the addtional fee. I will be keeping his card and will be referring him. Just a note of recommendation to Franklin and his crew at Evans Garage Door. My double door spring "sprung" on Sunday afternoon; I could not get the door open to get my vehicle out. I called and left a message on Monday morning, hoping to beat the rush of weekend calls. Franklin called back quickly and scheduled a visit within a short time. Our garage door would not open all the way and so we called our home warranty company and they sent out these guys. This is by far the BEST company we've worked with related to our home. We received a scheduling call within 30 minutes and they were able to provide SAME DAY service due to some time constraints we had the next day. I found this company on a Sunday on Yelp and used the "message" feature to ask a question. They called me back monday morning and gave me a quote for replacing my garage door springs that was almost half of what other companies were charging. Leo came out that evening and replaced my springs pretty quickly. Even though my side mounted motor was a pain to work on and he didnt have much room maneuver he managed to slip on the springs and get the door back to normal. Very Polite and respectful. I had an opener that has been acting up for quite a few months, and it got to the point of too irritating to deal with anymore. So I checked with some of my colleagues as to which company they'd recommend. A colleague whose opinion I trust recommended Franklin Evans. I called and made an appointment. He came out when he said he would, took the time to remove my old opener and install a new one. I picked the belt- operated model versus the chain since there is a longer warranty, longer use period, and quieter. I LOVE my new opener. It is definitely quieter. Garage door and or opener was making some grinding noises. I inspected to find two hinges broken. Notified home warranty company and within twenty minutes received a call for scheduling and set next day appointment!! Representative arrived and found additional broken hinge and trolly. Quickly repaired and made appropriate adjustments. Next day I noticed gap of light at top, as I didn't inspect upon completion as I left right from driveway day before. I notified Franklin who came over same day to make closing adjustment. The next day I noticed another gap on side. Again, Franklin arrived to asses and alerted me the wind was pressing against door and causing gap. He made additional adjustments to correct.
