I probably had my torsion springs replaced within the last three years. That is why I was surprised it was broken again. I got quote requests from a bunch of companies in Yelp and "All That and More Garage Doors" had the best estimate. I was just thinking bad springs was my issue... When these guys came down they saw my cables were frayed, some rollers are shot, and likely the bearings would be bad as well on my 36 year old house. I think if I only replaced the springs it will end up to be an incomplete and incorrect fix that will lead to premature failure. They gave me a complete package of springs, cables, hubs, bearings and rollers - with 5 years warranty. All was done in about an hour. Father and son duo so you're supporting a local small business. (2) They didn't have many reviews on Yelp but the ones on Yelp were very good. We agreed upon a time for the repair of the 20 year old garage door opener and Robert was on time. My wife called "All That and More Garage Doors" in the morning as our spring busted which messed up the top panel of the garage door. Robert said that he'd be out to get our garage door repaired between 2pm and 4 pm. Robert and his son Robert showed up at 3pm and said he'd get the spring replaced quickly. He also explained that the previous garage door repair folks (whose sticker was on the door and had a crappy Yelp rating!) didn't replace the mount for the garage door opener with the correct type when they replaced the wooden garage door with an aluminum paneled one. That's what caused the damage to the top panel. Instead of trying to sell us a new panel (or garage door), Robert showed us the correct and way more beefy mount. It was a 'no brainer' to have him put the new brace on and the new springs. He also suggested a brace along the bottom of the door to make it more rigid-as the previous owner of our house had backed into the door with it shut and bowed it out slightly (we hadn't even noticed). We added that as well. Finally-I had been waiting to replace the really old noisy screw type garage door opener with a WIFI enabled Chamberlain unit (I had installed two of them myself at our previous residence) so I asked what he would charge (since he was already here) for the unit (He had one on the truck) and the installation. Since I know what the units cost, he made me a deal that I couldn't pass up. He also installed an outdoor manual access panel with a code to unlock the garage door opener, too.He took the time to set the MyQ app on our phones and make sure everything was good to go before leaving. He also threw in new door rollers and installed them (as I was about to purchase some on Amazon and do those myself). He was done in less than two hours with everything-and we are very pleased with his work and would heartily recommend Robert and "All That and More Garage Doors" for any garage door service/repair/replacement. Robert and his son were great! I want to start by saying Robert was the first and only company to provide a quote right away. It was affordable and I was able to get scheduled right away. Every other company wanted to get an address and phone number to get you on the phone with a sales rep or send someone out. Robert took the hassle and haggle out of the equation, which we very much appreciated. They arrived bright and early and had our door fixed in 20 minutes. He informed me of some maintenance items I should consider doing in the future, but did not try to sell me on it. Everything he said made sense and was visually apparent so we ended up having him change out our rollers as well. The best part though was he and his son stay after to help me get chamberlain support to remove my opener from the previous owners account and get my MyQ set up on my account. Chamberlain's phone support is outsourced to an offshore team making it extra challenging to do, but after 25 minutes we were finally about to get it reset and set up. He did not charge me for this and did not have to stay, but they were more than willing to do so to make sure I was all set up the right way.
