My garage door motor was over 20 years old and definitely needed to be replaced. Though I live in the far southeast valley, Design Array took the job which involved two appointments. Joe came out, inspected the motor and also recommended replacing the original plastic rollers with ones made of nylon. He said Art would be out the following Tuesday to replace the motor and if I wanted, he'd replace the rollers at that time. Today Art installed and programmed the new motor and remotes (I bought an extra one) in addition to installing the nylon rollers, a definite upgrade. Joe and Art were both courteous and professional, and so was Doug when we spoke on the phone to schedule and confirm appointments. I called in a service request on a Friday night, and they had me scheduled for the following Wednesday. They notified me via text when they were on their way and had a method for me to track where the driver was. He arrived when he said he would and within the window. I called because I was having trouble with my wifi and the door. Joe came out and spent 15 minutes working on it. Then he gave me an 800 number to call to fix my problem. After that he charged me $85. When I made the initial call no one told me about $85 for service call. Otherwise I would not had them come out. I called to complain about it and the person I talked to wasn't helpful at all, and actually kinda rude. So anyway I will call another company next time I need help. read more

Had a power failure.....I disengaged the door drive and could not raise the door because the springs were not adjusted properly at the time of installation.....called to to re-adjust the springs and was charged a $75 service fee..... A week after the door was installed .....it developed a clunking sound when fully opened.....the tracks needed adjusting..... no charge..... After ordering this new door , upon delivery, one panel was the wrong size, and was re-ordered for a three week delay..... read more

One morning, our garage door would not open, and we noticed that the main spring was broken. Eek!! We called Design Array and they were able to send a technician within thirty minutes. Mike came, assessed the situation, and replaced that spring! While there, we asked about replacing our almost 20 year old opener. Mike discussed the new openers, which come with a variety of technical options that you can choose to use, or not. We decided on which opener to buy, and Mike returned on Monday the next week to install it. He also returned (without charge) to show me how to install a replacement light bulb.
