He then continued pushing additional repairs related to the rails. One door did need trim replacement due to sun exposure, but after doing some research later, I realized I paid significantly above the industry standard for the work that was done. One of my garage doors would not close because the safety eyes were misaligned. Mind you, I called right away and these were supposedly adjusted during the "tune-up." When the technician returned later to install the weatherstripping, he told me he would have to charge me another service call just to fix the issue--even though it was directly related to the work they had just performed. What really bothered me was that I mentioned I'm currently recovering from cancer and that money is tight right now. That didn't stop the representative from continuing to pressure me for additional services and add ons. I honestly feel bad for elderly homeowners or others who may be more easily persuaded under these kinds of tactics.
