She did not realize that I speak Vietnamese, so I understood everything being said. The situation made me very uncomfortable and felt extremely unprofessional. Despite this, I still left a tip, and she proceeded to comment on the amount, which only added to the disrespect. When I said goodbye to her in Vietnamese and let her know that I understood the conversation, it was clear she had not expected that. Professionalism and respect should be a given in any service environment, and it's definitely lacking here. I will not be returning. For potential customers considering this salon, be aware that conversations you don't understand may not always be appropriate.

My pedi: I had existing gel on my toes and the tech put a solution that smelled like industrial paint thinner (not acetone, not foil wrapped) to dissolve the polish. It began to burn the skin around the nail and when I touched it, it was all oily and messy and had a very strong petroleum scent. I notified the tech that I was getting a burn and she put some sort of barrier cream between my toes. The new polish on my left foot didn't cure long enough and I'm left with tacky gritty polish. My manicure: the tech ignored the air bubbles in the clear coat and the overall appearance is just thick and goopy. I was ready to go as I'd been there close to 3 hours so I just took the loss. I've only been here once before and won't be back. There's MANY nail salons in the area that hire fully trained techs that are actually nice (please offer more than one polish book and don't be rude when asked to see one).
