They were typically up front if something was out of their realm but were always helpful in trying to find a new idea! Recently I've been going back since moving home and I do not get the same feeling when I'm there. Took my 5 year old to get her manicure and pedicure done. The nail tech was great and kind. The place was nice and quite not busy at all. But paying $80.00 for a 5 year old was expensive. $80.00!! I typically like this place because they have a stamp card and the prices aren't too bad. I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt because they are so sweet and give great service, but the past few times I have gone they just don't get the colors right for a gel x manicure. My pedicure the past two times had streaky polish and there was a part of my nail that wasn't painted. I have also gotten an infection on my toes the past two times I came here. It does not seem as though they sanitize the tools that they use. read more

All the recent reviews are bad and there's a reason why... new owners, unfortunately not very good at their work. I have nothing bad to say about them as people but there's a number of differences from the old owners. I didn't get the full 5 minute massage during my pedicure, they used to use the timer which I really liked and they didn't this time. The tools from cleaning the bottom of my feet were cleaned off in the same water my feet were still soaking in (gross) . And the tools they use are NOT new from a new package, I watched them just brush them off with a towel from one client to the next. And the foot towel used from the last persons pedicure was flipped over and used for me. For my gel manicure, my cuticles got tore up and one finger bled a little, the work was shotty, some nails I can still see through and on one I can see the old color still. He filed my nails roughly to make the shape but then didn't follow up with a finer grit to smooth them out. There was no cuticle oil so now my cuticles are cut up and DRY . Overall just sloppy and unclean work. And then to top it off I asked if they still take the punch cards and they said only if you pay cash (which was never the case before) read more

I went here and they burnt my nail! It hurt so bad! After the the lady tried to make me put my nail back into the nail removal and that made it burn even more. They are definitely not getting a tip. I will never be going there anymore. I went there for my wedding nails and didn't like them, and I also went for my baby shower nails and didn't like them either. Terrible! I went in for a mani pedi but had dip on my nails that needed to be removed. Instead of the process of soaking them to gently remove the dip, this guy proceeds to use an acrylic nail to remove the dip. He breaks two of my nails! Then I tell him what he's doing is breaking my nails and he says oh I can file them off and reaches for his instrument. I just walked out. Absolutely lazy work and terrible service! Usually I get the jelly one and it is great, giving it 4 stars because I went there recently and asked for the jelly pedicure and they gave me a regular one without the foot soak in jelly and still charged me the full price for the service I didn't get. read more

This place was convenient for me to go to for a last minute appointment for a funeral I had to attend. Price was definitely higher than my regular nail salon I go to, but I feel that I paid $20-30 more for convenience. My nails came out okay. A few bubbles and streaks in my gel nail polish, but again, I am use to going to my technician and her knowing exactly what I want done and how. There are new owners now and my nails did not come out the same, they were quick with my manicure and it really hurt.. This nail shop is back open and under new management. I stopped by and am obsessed. To start, it is very clean & organized. The staff is friendly and I felt comfortable very quickly. I took my toddler for a pedicure and she also wanted her hands done. The flower was simple and cute and my girl was very happy. I got a gel pedicure. The scrub was so refreshing. I came back 2 days later and brought my husband for a pedicure and he was so happy. He is a new man with smooth and clean feet. I trusted the photos and reviews about this place and decided to come here for the first time. I called to make an appointment-- they booked me, great. As soon as I stepped in, a lady aggressively asked me "you called right?!?!" I said yes and she sat me down. Immediately it was awkward for me but ignored it. After about 7 min she hands me the colors to choose from -- there was a man finishing up with a customer and she told me he'd be helping me. He calls me over and the whole time his mood was annoyed? I just felt as if he was upset that he had to help me. Whatever, I had headphones didn't really care. He begins to do my nails and it was just uncomfortable; he was using so much pressure on my fingers and man handling my hands the whole time. He hurt my fingers twice, one of the cuts on the side of my pink that stung the whole time. I showed him photos for reference of what I wanted and made sure to tell him I wanted narrow square nails, not coffin. He insisted that what I wanted was coffin and I didn't know what I was asking for. I thought, as long as he goes by the reference photo we're good. Half way through, a lady jumps in to do my nails and he walks off - she starts the design and again, I showed her the reference photo of how I wanted the French tip done. She starts coughing a lot, grabs a mask and continues doing my design. They're closing up shop at this point and I felt rushed because everyone was ready to go and I just wanted to leave. By the end of it all it was uncomfortable, awkward, and I didn't like my nails. The acrylics go slightly up and not straight and I mentioned beforehand that I didn't want it that way. The French tip is noticeably uneven, some of the sides aren't even painted. I was really unhappy with my nails especially because the photos on other reviews are really pretty and look like they're done the way I would have wanted them. I will not be returning. read more

Would not recommend for gel x. Instead of proper soaking they crammed my hand in a tiny bowl and the melted gel got all over my hands. They never did clean the dried melted gel off. They then proceeded to rip it off with tweezers than let it soak off fully or file it off. They only put a clear coat on one hand and then after I got home the gel peeled off. Then they scrub your heels which felt like a deep exfoliation. Next, was a paraffin wrap of my feet which smelled like peaches. Then you get lotion and hot stone massage too. It has been 3 weeks now since this guy did my manicure and accidentally cut my flesh causing my finger to bleed when he was filing my nail. This place is extremely disappointing! I went after work to get my toes done and before I sat down and was serviced I was very clear that I wanted acrylic on my two big toes and gel French tip. Both woman kept saying OK they understood what I was asking for once it was time to do the acrylic they kept telling me I didn't need it and I explained to them that I like them square and a certain shape and I like the way it looks with it. after going back-and-forth I agreed to just getting one toe with acrylic because the other one still had some on there and I wanted them to look equal I went to use the restroom and when I came back they told me that the lady who was doing my toes did not know how to do acrylic! The annoying part is not that she does not know how to do acrylic on toes but the fact that they allowed me to sit down and start a service that they were not going to be able to complete. While speaking with them a gentleman came in and said he could do it but at that point I just did not feel confident in the service because they tried to talk me out of what I wanted instead of being honest and just saying she didn't have the skills to do what I was asking for. I still paid $41.25 for a service that was not completed because I need to go to another salon to have the acrylic put on and my toes painted so I will probably have to spend another $40. I absolutely do not recommend this place if you are looking to get acrylic on your feet it's just not within their skill set. I also would not take the chance because they will not let you know until they have already began servicing you so you are obligated to pay for what has been done. Overall terrible customer service and terrible communication. Just to add the person I was with had communicated she wanted her nails and toes done at the same time and they kept saying the lady was on her way who would be doing her nails and she never showed! Her pedicure was finished and the same man they were going to have do the acrylic on my toes said he would do her nails after when before the service they said someone was already on their way an obvious lie. read more

I have been looking for a nail salon in the area for almost a year now. I found this little gem in San Dimas and absolutely fell in love with the place . It is super clean and roomy. The owner, Rose was very nice and did exactly what I wanted. She pays close attention to detail and asked me to come back if I was not happy so that she can fix whatever I needed. Who does that!
