It did not disappoint as the service was on point and I got what I asked for. I got my pedicure done first and it was done nicely. My nails were done by Ana and we instantly started talking. I showed her a inspo pic and she made it work. She matched the colors and showed me before applying it. I would definitely come back although my only negative would be that the music selection is too bleh. I understand people want to relax but I think it should be a mix and not just spa music with no words. I regretted not bringing my headphones because the music selection was not it. At first, I was utterly impressed by the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. However, upon paying, EVERYTHING is an up charge. I got a UV nail refill. Everyone else in CT includes the gel polish. Not this salon. In addition, I got a pedicure with gel polish. They used a sticker scraper and now my feet are swollen. When I went to pay, I was originally charged one amount. Then all of a sudden , the price doubled. This is unacceptable and I will be reporting this business. There were about 6-8 woman working from Central America and Middle East all no English. ? If they are being trafficked? I wound up with a toe infection. Very dirty. I don't like to give bad reviews, but i feel it is important to speak up about being mistreated only because I have a physical disability. Eva Nails is a clean shop and they do a good job. My issue is unique. I have gone to Eva Nails for a few times now. I thought as they got to know me better, they would be more respectful to me as a person. I am a wheelchair user and they just do not do a good job respecting me. They won't talk to me, they talk to who ever is with me. I had to beg her to do gel nail polish but she said it was too hard because my hands are small and close. However, because we stood our ground she was able to do it just fine! I just do not feel welcome there, you can only go and feel welcome if you are an able bodied individual without any differences. I tried, but today was my last time trying. After being turned away from another salon in the area that claimed to not have my appointment, I was stuck with no nail appointment 2 hours before an event I had. In a panic I called the first salon I saw on Google with dip powder, and thankfully it was Eva Nails! The man on the phone told me their exact location and within 10 minutes I was in a chair. The manager, Kevin, started my nails for me until another technician was available. This allowed me to be in and out quickly, and still be on track to get ready for my event. I've been looking for a place for a good spa pedicure in the area. Most places fall short. The spa (green tea) pedicure at Eva's was absolutely amazing from the massage, to skin care to gel polish (extra $). I only hesitate to give 5 stars because my eyebrows were not done how I requested; done too thin despite my explanation of what I was looking for. But as far as the pedicure, and I will DEFINITELY be back for that. Of note, they are probably the cleanest salon I've ever been to. It was impeccable and organized. I moved to the area about 3 months ago and have had some good nail salon experiences but this place takes the cake. I made an appointment for a pedicure and when I walked in all I could say was wow! The salon was extremely clean, very bright, and there were multiple rows of beautiful colors for my nails. I found my usual color, but found a different variation of the purple that I normally use which I selected. The manager gave me the menu for my pedicure, and I decided to treat myself to the spa level one, which included reflexology, or a massage. Michelle was my Technician, and she did a phenomenal job, was very pleasant and polite, and attentive to my needs. Her touch was professional, strong where it needed to be and light in other places and overall, she did an excellent job. I asked if they also did see the chair massage and indicated she did, so I added that service to my Ticket as well. I will definitely be back, even though I live the next town over I don't mind driving a little bit to get superior service. Very professional, and good music overhead as well, plus don't forget to ask for your punchcard, where you can get a free 10 minute massage or a free manicure after 10 visits. read more

Very clean and lovely people but I went in on Saturday to get dip extensions loved my nails thought they were perfect well on Wednesday one broke off without me even noticing so I go back and they fix it free of charge I was very grateful and was even planning on going back it's Thursday now and another nail just broke off usually I wouldn't complain about this but I live 40 minutes away and paid $83 ($75 + tip) so if you're planning to get acrylics or dip extensions find another salon I can't speak on any of the other service but trust me on this one i really wanted to like this place but I can't have my nails randomly falling off so save yourself and your money and go somewhere else read more

I have went to Eva Nails & Spa twice and it was a pleasurable experience. The owner Kevin is amazing and professional. He is very knowledgeable regarding the services they offer and a talented nail technician. My nails came out beautiful as well as my pedicure. The establishment is extremely clean and each employee has tremendous customer service skills. They work well as a team which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They have also gone to great lengths to accommodate the Covid-19 requirements. Your temperature is taken upon entering, you are asked to wash your hands, everything is sanitized, and each guest is spaced 6 feet apart. There are even dividers in between each nail and pedicure station. I have no doubt when I go there that everything has been sanitized and I feel safe. I even referred my mother, who now loves it here as well! I will definitely be coming here for as long as they are in business. read more

I guess it is true that most people will take the time to write about their negative experience but will often not take time to tell the positive. Seeing these low reviews I felt compelled to write a review. The owner is present and goes above and beyond to ensure your service is to your satisfaction. I have had gel powder and two different spa pedicures and they were perfect. The nails lasted over 2 weeks and the pedicure also lasted. This shop adds a lot of nice extras. For example, you get a heated neck pillow. They add nice aromatics steam during your pedicure. You get a nice back massage... yes a lot of places do this but this place you do not see a big "tip jar". It truly feels included. The prices are competitive and they use high quality good products. The owner even said to me, please if something goes wrong with the gel powder, come back so we can correct our mistake. The place is very clean and they have so many nail colors and other services. Here are photos of the place. I should also mention, it appears they have good repeat business and It looks like people are very happy. Perhaps they are like me and just never wrote a review. 3 stars because I genuinely do like the staff and owner. However, if you're looking for a place that values regulars, don't go here. I've been going for years, and their service is not what it used to be. The last time I went, I was told I needed to pick my own matching color for my toes (I used gel for my fingernails and wanted regular for my toes) - I found that odd because every other place I've been to makes sure they have a regular polish match for each gel color, and if they don't, they will find the closest color for you. I was also charged $10 extra because I had a few fingernails missing...didn't notify me until I was told the price and questioned why it was so high. I'm sure they've been overcharging me without me knowing. Also, if Kevin is the one doing your nails, he'll need to stop every 5 minutes to answer the phone or ring someone out. I am off to find a new place that values their regulars. I won't be back but wish them well read more

This is 3rd visit to this establishment. Each time I have experienced unwelcoming and rude front staff. I spoke to the manager last week about it, and asked him to possibly address this issue with his staff. I got my nails done this past Saturday, and today, Monday, May 24th, most of my nails are cracking and breaking. I wanted to get them repaired, but Cristina was so RUDE that I left. Went today for second time, this time the tech didn't seem to listen when I said I wanted nails shorter and ignored me when I said NOT to cut triangle into corner of nail. The entire experience seemed rushed and the post-pedi neck massage was about 15 seconds. My friend and I arrived at the same time for our appointment and she had to wait quite a bit before I was done. Probably the least relaxing pedicure I have had, last time was great. Still doubt we will go back. I originally thought: Went for pedicures when it first opened, very clean and excellent job. All the files and tools were opened from individual new packages for each customer. Great value, very relaxing, not rushed. So many shops nearby keep you waiting a long time tho they advertise walkins welcome.
