Best ever nail salon. I had a wonderful mani & pedi. They massage hands, arms, legs & feet. Royal treatment was given. My nails were beautiful. I chose the Gel UV. I live in Florida but was visiting Ct. My daughter recommended this salon. The nails lasted 6 weeks with no breakage. I am now trying to a comparable salon here in Florida..no luck yet. read more

I went and got a pedicure, I had Jennifer as my tech. The shop was; welcoming, cute, and clean. Jennifer was; friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. She answered any question I asked. All the tools were either; one time use or in barbasol disinfectant. After she was done with me and I was drying; she cleaned the tub and big file. I think my nails look good and their basic pedicure is $30.00 and they don't upcharge or downcharge based on gender like some places do. read more

Love this place. I've since moved out of the area, but continue to come back here for my manicures and pedicures. The ladies are always friendly and know me by name, even when I call to make my appointments. They welcome me every time I come in and always treat me like family. Tip toe is under new management and they are just as good if not better than it was previously. Everyone is very friendly and kind. The women who work here are very detail oriented and knowledgable. I love getting designs done by Jennifer. She is very creative and creates beautiful designs on my nails every time check out the pictures of her work. Best word to describe this place is subpar. Not the worst gel manicure I've had, but definitely not completely satisfying. I typically drive out to Guilford to get my nails done, but decided to stay closer to home and try Tip Toe. The process felt rushed even though I was one of three customers in the store at the time. The gentleman doing my nails didn't let the gel cure long enough under the UV light, so when he brushed over them at the end with nail polish remover some of the gel inevitably wore away. Final product is not horrible, but not worth 37 when I typically receive above and beyond service for 30. If you just need to "get the job done", this salon is fine, but I don't think I will be returning based off of my mediocre experience. read more

Not worth the prices. I stopped in quick because I was in a rush and my normal nail salon was closed. The pedicure was $28 and I was. extremely disappointed because my normal nail salon is $20 for a pedicure for the exact same services that I received at this nail salon. I have also heard others complaining about their prices as well I just feel that this place is way overpriced. read more

I gave this salon a "2"because they are way over-priced for the level of service they provide. I paid $67 for gel nails and a regular pedicure. I pay at least $15 less at my regular salon and get an adult beverage and a massage while my nails dry. I also would have had to pay extra for any detailed work on my heels - so I left with scaly feet (and I don't have horrible calluses or anything). That said, the gel manicure was well done. Also, fair warning, this salon does not allow credit card tips. read more

0 star, They dropped hot wax in my 76 year old moms eyes. They didn't know what to do and apparently were not very apologetic. My mom doesnt like to make a fuss.So even though she was in pain she paid and tipped and left. When she went to look in the mirror in her car had a red spot in her eye and no eyelashes,when she went back in to show them the red spot concerned of chemical burn they only offered her a refund of 8$ After paying and tipping 40$ and played like they didnt see any red spot. They are very lucky they didn't get someone else who would sue them.But I will let the public know what happened to my elderly mom. read more

Earlier this year, before the pandemic, I got my nails done by them and I was not pleased. It was dirty, first off. The tools had previous powder from other nails on them. That could have given me an infection, mind you. Also, when they filed my nails, they permanently ruined some of my natural nails due to filing so far that my nails were red and tender, and they were breaking for months after trying to get my natural nails back. My nails used to be so much stronger. For example, a part of my left thumbnail grows flat now and parts of my nails grow stronger than other parts. And when they applied my nails, they were weak. They looked good for about a day before, not one or two, but three nails fell off. I had to get my nails redone by another salon the next day. Also, they kept mentioning how they have a certificate, which seems kind of sketch to me since no other salons continuously mention that. I don't recommend going here unless you want to waste your money on hurt and ruined nails. It may even come with a free infection! read more

My first visit to this nail salon and not impressed. The only reason i came was bc my husband bought me a gift certificate. When i went in with a friend it was pretty empty. Only one other person there. That said i looked around the floor, nail station and tubs and wasnt the cleanest it could be for being there early and not being bisy at all. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and kind and she did a nice job on my shellac manicure. The woman who did my pedi made no attempt to be friendly, seemed as if she were rushing and no one was waiting. There was no filing of my heels what so ever. She was very rough to the point i jumped a couple times bc she would press her fake nails in to my toe nail as she held my feet. Not a relaxing pedi w at all. I would possibl go back to use the remaining $ on my certificate but i would NEvER go here again for a pedi! Did i mention my toenails were cut uneven and some polish was on edge of toes. I give myself more relaxing and better pedicures myself! read more

Judy is the best for all services - she does eyebrows better than the benefit brow bars. The salon has a larger selection of opi colors than Essie.
