After hearing some ticking from my E92 M3 engine, and being the anal audiophile I am, I quickly took my car to EAS to see what they had to say about it. Steve gave it a listen and said he was 90% sure it was worn rod bearings that were making the noise. What I really appreciated from Tom was that he actually advised me to try have BMW NA repair it since I was only 4 months out of CPO warranty. He didn't want to take my business right away, and said that I should come back to EAS as a last resort. In the meantime, he advised that I take and oil sample and send it to Blackstone. Blackstone diagnosed my issue as rod bearing wear without knowing that I already had the assumption that I had this problem. This confirmed the problem for me and I proceeded to contact BMW NA about my issue. BMW NA suggested that I take it to a BMW dealership to diagnosis my car, and they can then decide whether they will cover the cost of repairs. I took my car to Bob Smith BMW at Calabasas, CA for the diagnosis. They wanted to charge me over $2,300.00 for the diagnosis alone, the reason being that they claimed that dropping the oil pan and looking inside was the only way to surely diagnose my problem. Since any support from BMW NA wasn't even a certainty, I took my car home and gave Tom a call. I brought in my car on Monday and EAS was finished with it Friday. I was very impressed with the workmanship and the thoroughness of the job. They made every effort to remove all bearing debris in the engine, and they did a terrific job. They even cleaned my entire engine bay. It looks like it was straight off the showroom floor! They replaced the piston rod bolts with ARP rod bolts, which have threads that are 10x stronger than OEM bolts, and replaced my bearing with surface treated WPC bearings, which are more durable than OEM bearings without compromising clearance. If any of you hear any ticking from your S65, don't take any chances. Stop driving the car, get and oil analysis, and give EAS a call! read more

Called them directly, spoke with a young gentleman who told me he'd have an expert call me back, didnt get any call for 2 weeks 3. followed up again yesterday, gave them a call, the young gentlemen told me he'd give me a quote for what we discussed on the phone (stage 2 among other things like chargepipes, etc.). I do NOT recommend anyone coming here unless you want a half ass job done one your car. I brought my car her a couple months ago to get my springs installed on my 335i and I spent about $600. When I went to get my car an alignment they told me that my tires were switched. Meaning the right tire was on the left and vice versa. If I didn't take my car in on time I could of been in a bad accident. Because the tires have threads that are designed propel water to avoid hydroplaning. Thank god I caught it one time. I had high expectations for this place but they definitely proved me wrong. ***I don't normally leave reviews about anything I purchased or service or anything I hate being that type of person But for the price I paid I felt like they lack the attention to detail required for a shop such as EAS. If you cannot simply keep track of what wheel goes where, then there's no way I would continue driving on springs. That's why I personally made the choice to take them off not because the men at the shop told me too (just for clarification). I was worried for my safety and others. Whether its one year, one day, one week or one month you should own up to your mistakes. Not give an excuse saying "it's been too long, we can't reinstall them." Now that's harsh and unfair. Did I pay you for labor? YES. Was it done correctly? NO. Im not saying buy me new springs. I'm simply asking for a favor to reinstall them and make up for the minor mistake. It's not going to cost you a single penny out of your pocket.... I don't understand why you're refusing to??? I PAID!! read more

Although most people take their cars here for mods, I took my car here twice for repairs upon the recommendation of one of my friends. Well, actually two of my friends who recommended this same spot. Once for a water pump replacement and other installs. The other time for a malfunctioning alternator. What keeps me coming back (aside from car problems) is the customer service. When I first took my car here, Tom and Steve helped me. This was around the Lunar New Year so I wanted to get my car back before the holiday--I'm a tad superstitious. They ended up working beyond closing hours in order to get my car back to me. Totally cool, really. Robert helped me most recently and although I didn't talk to him much he was able to get my car in and out in good time. The shop does get really busy, but they always try to accommodate me which I appreciate. I've taken my car for a diagnostic at a couple of other shops and none were comparable to EAS. They were always able to locate the problem. Pricey, but I guess that's the cost of owning a European car. read more

Short version: Impossible return/exchange policy / general incompetence. don't buy from them. Long version: I ordered wheels and tires from these guys back on April 19th (flat black VMRs with Bridgestone Potenzas). I got a call on May 2nd that they were backordered to the middle of May and asked if I wanted to change the order -- so far, so good. I said "no, I'll wait. thanks." and I patiently waited for my wheels to arrive. They arrived on May 25th. I opened the box with great excitement only to find that they sent the wrong color - gunmetal (nice color, but clearly not what I ordered). I get it, these things happen. So I call customer service. They're very nice, say "no problem" and to send an email with pictures to our returns address and they'll send you a shipping label right away to get them swapped out. I do all that, and don't hear anything back. I call them 3 days later. They didn't get the email. I sent it to them again and wait with them on the phone to get it. Still nothing. So they say, no problem we'll send out the shipping label anyway. "ok" I say and we're off. Another week goes by, and still nothing. Call back again (June 14th for those that are still counting). Send them another 3 emails and then finally just tell them to download them off my website. Ok, now we're cookin. I wait... still nothing. Call them back today. "Oh! We'll send that out now. And by the way, the wheels are backordered to August" *@#%Y^#@$@#*I Long story short - they can't get their act together over there to actually fulfill a $2500 order. I went to EAS for the first time to get my alignment done, base line dyno pull and figure out the shimmy problem after installing spacers on my F10 M5. Set an appointment and showed up on time. I was approached by one of the sales guys right away and offered a tour of shop as well as description and timing of my services (very professional). I met Tom right after and he showed me around. The shop is very organized and the guys definitely know what they are doing. All the services were performed as agreed and the issue with shaking fixed. The car dynoed 552hp to the wheels, which made me even happier and when I received the invoice and the prices were very low comparing to the other BMW shops. I contacted Kevin the morning. I had wheel spacers, Angel Eyes and coding done to my 2010 M3 and the guys were able to fit me in that same day. The techs and sales representatives were great at explaining the specifics, tailoring the coding to what I wanted and helping me understand what I needed next to get my car to the levels of performance I wanted. Nothing less than 5 stars from my first experience at EAS! Thanks a bunch to Kevin and Tom for helping me out with the various mods for my F80 M3. This is the go-to destination for all your M-needs (and beyond!). Timely and professional correspondence, recommendations, service, and treatment. I was able to get several cosmetic mods done along with some coding and a tail-light swap. There was an issue with the car (not their fault) but they were so knowledgeable and helpful to help patiently walk me through, diagnose and get it figured out by the dealership. They were also accommodating when my car was well and able to return again later on to finish what we had started. I have an e90 M3 and decided to forgo Coilovers as I was in the process of building new 3 piece wheels. I knew that I'd lose my EDC function and get an error message. After searching for a reputable shop I came across EAS who also happened to be in Anaheim. I called and I was helped by Kevin who said they had a time slot available at noon as I requested. I showed up and Kevin warned me that any coded features that I may already have will be erased. Fair enough. Within 10 minutes my car was taken in and I was just as quickly done expecting that what I requested was done. After all, this is a reputable place among the BMW community. As soon as I got in my car and pulled out the same error message showed up. $95 later, lost coded functions and they had nothing to show for. Went back and I asked for a refund. They had one chance, and simple one, to get this right and they would've earned my business for future mods. Unfortunately this won't be the case. Made an appointment to install a front carbon fiber front lip. Took time off my work and drove 40 minutes to the shop. Dropped my car off and another 30 minutes later Kevin (sad excuse of an employee) gives me a bs excuse saying this company's front lip mold has changed over the years and that installation won't even be attempted because there was too much of a gap. Which was a garbage excuse because eas installed this same front lip a year ago. I went to another shop the same day and they installed it with no issues. read more

I started noticing that every picture on the BMW forums had the same back-drop. I started to wonder and asked myself, "Where the hell is this place?" Literally, every picture I have seen with modded M4s have had the same back-drop. I asked around and found out that it was EAS. I researched the location and within minutes, no joke, I drove there and installed 15mm wheel spacers in the rear of my M4. They are VERY professional, brutally honest, and cool guys all the way. They know a lot about BMW, of course, and they have experience with all BMWs....so for me, that was very important. On top of that, they have already had their trial and errors with cars....it's not like I'm going to a tuning company that has never worked on an M4 or has worked on M4s just a few times. These guys have pretty much done it all and on a lot of cars. **Another thing that REALLY stood out was their cleanliness. The young guy who took my car in covered the seat and the steering wheel or at least I thought that's what he was doing...and the car was returned to me in the same condition I gave it to them....so scuffs on the door, steering wheel, etc...My car now drives a little better with the spacers, sound on the freeway has gotten less, and the stance is super-aggressive. Brought my BMW 335i in for an aftermarket tune. The exhaust had recently started making a loud rattling and Tom and Kevin determined that a spring that works with the exhaust valve had fallen out. They put my car on a lift, found a spring and fixed the problem with no charge. The tune turned out amazing. Never taking my car anywhere else. Highly recommended!!! read more

So after speaking with a good friend of mine who had quite a bit of work done to his E92 M I made an appointment with Kevin at EAS. As I walked in all the guys were friendly and very knowledgeable. I got some APEX PS-7's, MS stud conversion and SR48 lugs put on which only took about a hour and a half. In addition to it being quick compared to other places I've gone for similar work the cost out the door was very competitive. Being an OCD perfectionist it's tough to please me but Kevin and the guys at EAS did an excellent job. Definitely will be coming back for future mods! read more
