I worked with a guy named Reggie for many years. This started right after COBB became Antspec. They did a lot of work to my 2015 STi over the years. There were a few ups and downs with different parts they installed but eventually all was made right by them. One example was the front mounted intercooler resevoir was leaking and overflowing. COBB had some issue with that component which they later fixed so Antspec fixed my car free of charge. My car sits in the garage more than I drive it. It is a 2015 with less than 30k miles. I take it to auto cross every once in a while and occasionally do a rally cross. It is not a commuter vehicle or a daily driver. Recently I reached out to Reggie via email as always and a guy named John replies telling me Reggie is gone and he is the guy now. The reason I reached out to Reggie was because I found fluid that looked like oil under the car in my garage. This happened shortly after the last time Antspec did work on my car. They installed a COBB air oil seperator. At the time I found the fluid, I initially thought it was oil leaking from the engine. So I inspected top and bottom but found no evidence of where the fluid came from. The dip stick also showed no signs of oil loss. So I changed the oil myself. There was no leaking oil the change so after I was confident the car was not leaking oil. I warmed the car up for 30 minutes then went for a test drive. About half way through the 1-2 mile trip the car starts making sounds. I go home, park and after inspecting I notice what looks like oil dripping down from around the center of the car and the noise is coming from around the air oil seperator. More inspecting I find oil all over a hose that is connected to the AOS. The hose coming off the AOS is cut then zip tied to another smaller hose. It is clear that is where the oil is coming from. It looks like oil leaks from the zip tied connection. So I send videos and pictures to John. He emails me back saying bring it in. I tell him it is unclear if I should drive it that far in its current condition. He emails me back saying he will review the videos and pictures then advise. Weeks go by and no contact. I follow up via email; no reply. Another week goes by, I follow up via email; no reply. I call and John answers. I tell him my name and tell him we corresponded via email. He mumbles something I did not understand then puts me on hold. I wait on hold for 30m and no one picks up. I call back and immediately get hold music; no one picks up. That is where I am at with this issue and why the 1 star review. If and when there is a change I will do my best to update Yelp. read more

Took my BMW m240i into ant spec for a issue I was having with my drive shaft. They had my car for 7 days and told me they couldn't figure out the issue and told me to go to another shop. I took it to another shop....and they fixed it within an hour. Do not trust these guys with your car!!! Ant spec... where to start. I gave these gentlemen a lot of my business and was super cool and understanding to them. I had them install coil overs, camber plates, and wheels on my car. Other than weird thumping when I got the car back they did a good job. Here's where all the problems start. I had taken my car in to get side skirts done by them. They had it for a couple days when I went to pick it up from them and drove all the way down there they told me it wasn't ready after saying it was going to be. Jonathan had said they didn't have 3m tape to finish the job. We got to talking about something else and he brought me back into the shop and behold there is a brand new roll of 3m tape sitting on their work bench. There's the first lie. The second issue I had with them is the day I was coming in to get an alignment(something they had pushed me back on almost 2 months) I had hit a rock on the way there. I asked Jonathan if they could just do a quick overview of the bottom of my car and make sure nothings damaged. He comes back and informs me that one of my camber bolts was damaged and showed me the stock one. It didn't click for me at the time that was the same part I had gotten replaced with aftermarket camber bolts. He proceeds to tell me I need to get 4 of these oem bolts which was going to cost me $300+ because they don't make the part anymore. I asked him "are you sure the aftermarket part I had you guys install wasn't damaged because I can contact the company and get a new part" He tells me no.... Some time goes by and I had my car on a jack doing an oil change when I notice that the two front aftermarket camber bolts are missing. So I go and confront him. It's been almost 3 weeks since him lying to me about the aftermarket ones being damaged. I go into the office and start talking to him and behold my aftermarket camber bolts that I paid $700 for are sitting in his office in a bag. His excuse was he's been to busy to call me and tell me. Tell me what? that you stole from me and lied to me. Were you to busy when you lied straight to my face and told me to spend $300 on a part I didn't need while stealing my aftermarket ones? Guess what ended up happening I contacted the company of the camber bolts and they sent me a replacement piece just like I had asked Jonathan if I needed to do but he lied straight to my face. These guys hire super unqualified people who rev customers cars (have seen it with my own eyes on multiple occasions) and steal customers belongings out of their car (sunglasses). They do shady work and cut corners. They're not honest what so ever and will lie to you. What I think happened is the rock never actually damaged anything. They broke my aftermarket camber bolt while doing my alignment and wanted to cover it up while stealing my aftermarket parts. They also put a bad tpms sensor in my wheel and told me they replaced it but didn't and I still have a light on my dash. MORAL OF THE STORY TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE I WAS A REPEAT CUSTOMER AND PUT IN ALOT OF GOOD WORD FOR THEM AND LOOK HOW THEY TREATED ME AND MY CAR IN THE END. I went here after a $400 alignment at Mercedes Benz ruined $600 worth of tires. Jonathan took the time to explain what most likely happened at MB and then was able to have his team perform a correct alignment for only $100. He then helped me pick out some new tires and very inexpensive parts that would allow for an even more precise alignments in the future on my van. I bought my 2017 WRX in April 2020 and started modding it shortly thereafter. Antspec is the absolute best. I have been treated like family since the beginning. I have over $15K in mods and they have done all of the install. Never had one issue with any of their work. When I email Ronnie with a mod question I get an answer within a half hour every time. And if Ronnie is out, Reggie and/or Ant step in to help answer my questions. Even when i was reluctantly contemplating selling my WRX, Ant (the owner) sat down with me to discuss it. After a good half hour conversation, he made me realize that I really wanted to keep it and I am glad I did. They also do all of my regular maintenance. Their labor prices are reasonable and they never charge me for more than what I need. I would not trust anyone else, including a Subaru dealer, with my WRX. In the past I have purchased and had Antspec install lowering springs as well as Cobb Stage 1 on my WRX. My last visit to Antspec was to have Cobb Stage 2 installed which includes the Jpipe. In the process of installing the J Pipe, one of their guys broke a bolt that connects the stock jpipe to the turbo while taking it off. I was waiting in the waiting room and they came to tell me about it. Their story is that the bolt came broken from the factory when I purchased my car. I bought my car brand new and it had 11k miles when this happened. Then they asked me if I had broken the bolt while trying to install something on my car. No. I didn't. The solution they offered was they can try to remove the bolt but if it strips then they will have to remove my turbo, send it out to a place where they can remove the bolt. This would cost me over $2500. I had them stop what they were doing because they clearly had no idea what they were doing. Simply put, I don't trust this place. read more

At first I sent an email to Antspec asking for a quote for Walnut Blast and oil change for my 2018 WRX and was responded quickly by Ronnie with a quote attached and details information regarding the service. Since they are all booked out for a month, I decided to gather more parts and have them do all the bolt on part and flex fuel tune for the car. Ronnie was super professional and helped me tremendously in the whole process. After all the installation, they found a misfire during the tune and was able to diagnose the problem (which is the spark plug) and quickly resolve the issues as well as communicate with me the whole process. Jason the tuner was extremely helpful and give me plenty of tips on how to keep a flex fuel vehicle healthy. Overall, I don't write a lot of reviews but I have to leave Antspec one since I had such a great experience with Antspec and cannot wait to bring the car back to have my full suspension install by them in the future. read more

scheduled an appointment with Antspec for my 2005 STI on the 21st of April. I was met with Reggie and talked about the services that was due for that day. The communication was great! Fast forward a few hours and I get a call from him letting me know how progress is moving along but, not all seas are of smooth sailing. A routine check up of my spark plugs indicated that they should be serviced. i was given the option to either source them myself, or have him go ahead and get them for me. i gave him the OK to get them for me and that was that. A few hours later and I receive another call from him and I'd say about 90% of the work I was getting was complete, upon further inspection of my vehicle it turned out that a few of my silicone hoses have degraded. Reggie asked if i wanted to go ahead and have them replace it, and I agreed. Unfortunately this would mean my vehicle would have to stay overnight and a few days for the parts to arrive. After hanging up with him I wanted to see how much the hose kit was going to cost. They were a bit more than I would have liked to spend on some hoses, so I rushed to give him a call back. After quickly discussing the hoses he said he would price match them without hesitation. Wonderful! Its now April 25th and I get a call in the morning stating my car will be ready by 3pm. Sure enough when i had arrived at Antspec it was parked out front. Overall Im very pleased with the service that the guys over at ANTSPEC provide, they are friendly and easy to talk to. Without a doubt if the parts were available I would have been out the same day. I will be returning for any future work that needs to be done for my car.
