It came out…read moreabsolutely amazing that's why I chose to use him for this sentimental restoration of a vintage carousel horse off the original Merry-Go-Round on the Santa Monica Pier. Carlos gave me the idea to paint it black with white feet and a white stripe on its nose. My house is black and white so it seemed like it would be a perfect fit he also knew that it would work well with the colors of the house. He sprayed all but the saddle with an amazing gloss black and hand-painted the feet and face and then his sister Joanna went absolutely bonkers with a free hand acrylic paint. I've attached pictures of my vision with my wife's favorite Swatch watch and she went to work. I am absolutely blown away by the results. You truly have to look through all the pictures to realize how it transformed into something that I can't even describe in words. They made it truly one of the greatest gifts I've ever given my wife and she is over the moon! I called and spoke with Matt, who asked me to send enough photographs for him to prepare an estimate by text. When I asked whether he needed to see the vehicle in person, Matt explained that he could provide the estimate from the photographs. This saved me time, and I received the estimate within about an hour. I was also pleased that the company was located nearby and able to service my vehicle. When I dropped off my vehicle, I worked with Matt to find a headliner material in the same color as the original. I also had a new wrap for my leather steering wheel, which was coming apart. In addition, I asked Matt to examine the leather cover on the driver's seat bottom, which was cracked and had foam falling apart. Matt said he would discuss the issue with his dad who was the owner. Matt called me within two days of dropping off the vehicle to provide an update. There had been a hiccup while they searched for the right leather, but when I explained that the vehicle had custom leather installed more than 20 years ago, Matt reassured me by saying, "Don't worry, we got you." I picked up my vehicle today and was very impressed with the work. The replacement headliner looked much better than the one originally installed by the manufacturer. The steering wheel wrap looked good, and the driver's leather seat was done well. Matt also told me that they had rebuilt the foam in the driver's seat.
