The most professional, capable, and HONEST mechanic for German cars that I have ever worked with. My coolant light had been on for months and Audi dealers said it was no longer under warranty, so I brought it into European Auto Hause. They needed to charge a diagnostic fee, which would then be applied to the final cost, which is very reasonable in the business. After looking under the hood, European Auto Hause discovered that it was just a sensor malfunction and refused to charge me - "I don't want to just take your money if we didn't do anything". Even though they had a right to charge me for diagnostics, they were still so honest and upstanding. I picked up my car and told myself I have to write a review despite never doing so. Spoke to service advisor "Saris" to be honest I couldn't understand him. The dude sounded like he smoked a fat joint and couldn't really communicate clearly. Honestly he sounded like he didn't even want to be there. Very poor phone skills. I was just trying to get a simple quote for a dsg transmission job {flywheel / clutch} Again, he didn't sound very assuring. When you get on the phone and are ready to spend a couple of thousands of dollars the last thing you want to hear is a human Valium working on your car. I really wanted to give this shop a try but they need to brush up on their communication skills. read more

Let me tell you a story of whoa. So there I was, no shit!. Thats how you tell the difference between a fairly tale and a real story by the way. Ok, so there I was.... I bought a used 2012 VW CC 2.0T a few months ago. It worked well, had about 100K on the odometer, but overall it worked and got me to where I was going. So a few months ago it starts making a funny noise. But I let it go because, well, it didn't seem to matter. Then about 2 weeks ago, the check engine light came on. Then the ECP light came on. I was wondering if I was going to have a full blown Christmas tree by December at the rate I was going. In any event, last Thursday, the pesky ECP light came on again and it was clear that I wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. In a fury I Googled "VW repair". Of course it gave me the dealership in Pasadena, of which I have not had a very positive set of experiences. (Don't buy your VW from those jerks, they refuse to even offer the slightest price adjustment and treat everyone as a number). Ok, back to the story. So I rolled into European Auto Hause at 7 am. Normally they were not open, but low and behold, they had one of those employees that isn't a sorry ass, weak minded, useless bag of hammers, but a stellar performer that understands that life happens and he had the ability to be my Superman. And he flew into action and he helped me out. He called the owner and explained my situation. I was able to leave my car there and get to work, despite my impolite appearance to drop in on him while he was going above and beyond. (Clearly the boss there must be a great boss, otherwise this guy probably would not have extended a helping hand so readily). Thanks to them both. So the moral of the story, they not only fixed my car in record time, but also found another issue that needed fixed that I had not identified. My car runs better than when I got it and I am extremely impressed by the team at EAH. Not only consummate professionals, but very prompt, direct, and an absolute please to do business with. They even delivered my car to my house so I didn't have to leave work to close it out. If you need work done on your European car, call these folks. They are superb and have earned by future business for life. Thank you European Auto Hause. Your business is an excellent example of how to do business.
