They said it would be ready, but that's not even a guarantee because the store has been on a rack for a week already and it's not even close to Ready. No work has been done to the dress. The store is very unorganized as I'm calling on the phone upset because of this agreement and having this dress ready gentlemen on the phone was very rude and not being professional. His wordings and type of customer service were unprofessional, and his attitude was not helpful. He did not want to help me kept commenting on everything I was saying and not hearing me out the situation on the tardiness of actual due date of the dress unorganization. Do not go to that store. It is a hot mess and the gentleman is not helpful. He has an attitude problem.

I brought in three pairs of pants and a dress for alterations. Unfortunately, the experience was…read moreincredibly frustrating due to a significant language barrier. The tailor did not speak or understand basic English, which made it extremely difficult to explain what I wanted done. I resorted to pointing, demonstrating, and pinching the fabric to show her exactly where I wanted the garments taken in. She nodded along as if she understood, but the final results proved otherwise. I was charged $111, and I cannot wear a single item I brought in. Two pairs of jeans now have odd pleating around the waist that wasn't there before, and the dress, originally a loose, flowy Boho style, now has awkward bunches of fabric where it should have been taken in. I returned to try and show her what went wrong, but she pretended not to understand me at all and became visibly frustrated. Not only am I out over a hundred dollars, but I also lost clothing I loved. If a business owner cannot understand basic customer instructions due to a language barrier, it creates serious issues, especially for something as detail-specific as tailoring. I would not recommend this place unless clear communication is somehow guaranteed.

You can genuinely tell they love what they do, and that goes a long way--especially when it comes to altering something as special as a wedding dress. They took the bodice of my mom's 1980s wedding dress and transformed it into everything I could have dreamed of and more. They listened to all of my ideas and executed them beyond my expectations. As a wheelchair user, I also felt completely accommodated and comfortable throughout the entire process. I truly hope they never retire, because they will absolutely be my lifelong seamstresses.
