They also steamed/pressed my top and skirt for free. In all, alterations cost $75 with a 1.5 or so week turn around (they could have gotten it done much sooner, but I was in no rush). In my opinion, that is an incredibly fair price for the absolutely incredible work they did! My skirt fit like a glove....better yet, it was a one and done deal. They got it perfect the first time and I have never gotten more compliments on how something has fit me. Recommend them so much so I am writing this review before I drop off items for service! I was quoted $20 ( which I thought was a lot ) as I was told the hem was curved at the back. Fair enough. I gave them my card. It was swiped. I signed- STUPIDLY not checking the bill. I was charged over $44!!! Wow!!!! Scammed!!!! I only discovered it when I was going through my credit card statement. When I collected the top, I pointed out that I had been overcharged. ( I thought it was a genuine error.) I told them they had quoted me $20. They denied it- I was basically called a liar. Wow!!! Great relationship building for a first time customer! When I said I had learned a valuable lesson - definitely worth $20- and that I would NEVER return- they were quite complacent. Later the owner called and offered me $10 off the next time I came in. WOW! I'm sure their work is fine- but they clearly have no idea about customer service!!!
