Mr. Flores, I'm writing to you in regards to an unfortunate incident that occurred at the Cerritos Eureka last night. My wife and I were enjoying beer and food at the bar when we found a long hair in the taco that we ordered (not the first time we found hair in food at Eureka). It was disgusting to say the least and my wife threw up at the bar and again in the restroom. We were both upset when it happened and won't be returning again. Mother's Day dinner sucked. They had a trucker strike and half of the menu items were not available. We had made the reservation weeks in advance and confirmed the reservation the day before and the day of on the phone and were never told about this until we showed up. We were seated with direct sunlight in the face of half of our guests and there were no blinds/shades available to comfortably sit and have our meal. We are regulars, enjoy the ambience, so we started doing trivia on a Tuesday visit. This trivia went on, and on, and on, and on for 2hours, to the point that I was no longer interested in , and I'm sure others as well, in playing. I lost all interest and it become so monotone and intrusive to the environment. Live music would be a mich better businesss choice. Came for lunch with guests on a Saturday. Called ahead to make reservations as online mentioned no time was available (there were plenty of spaces to sit). Ambiance was nice, families and couple alike were in the establishment. Music wasn't too loud and modern. The cowboy burger was great, decently priced with no upcharge for the salad to replace the fries. Burger was cooked well, bbq sauce was a great addition to the patty. You have to get the firecracker / orange chile glaze wings and their bone marrow burger is probably the Best burger I've ever had. The old fashioned and a Gold Rush is a must get. I highly recommend any Eureka location to go to if you're in search of a great burger and amazing drinks. Food I have been to a few Eureka locations, and as you would expect with a chain/franchise (unfortunately I do not know which of these Eureka is) The burgers are amazing and always consistent. The time I came, I had the double smash burger but I have also had their 28 day aged bone marrow burger and I have never been disappointed. Ambience: The location always reminds me of a high-end cocktail bar, but they also serve amazing food. There will definitely be no dancing of people in this location, but that doesn't mean your taste buds won't be dancing. staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Food: The food in my opinion is really good. Now it does come out a price but in my opinion for what they offer it is well worth it. Now if you tend to have a couple of mixed drinks or enjoy a good beer while you eat, you are in luck because they offer both. The mixed drinks are amazing, I have yet to be disappointed, and they have a huge selection of Craftbeer. Was trying to find a place that was open late after a flight down to SoCal. Eureka! I found it here. Had delicious mac and cheese bites (the only pic I took!) and a burger. Reading the menu I found out they serve Santa Carota beef which is finished on carrots. Crazy, right? The burger was easily the tastiest I have had in awhile. Had a Fresno Fig burger w/ a SIDE of broccolini. Why did this Shrinkflation-ass restaurant only give me 1 stalk! $23! In the most unsure voice EVER, a staff person said it's always been that way. Never. They used to give you a full portion. AND the broccolini was still wet AND somehow burnt tasting at the same time. This was a stop on Father's Day before going to see a movie. My wife and I ended up getting a burger. She got the bone marrow and I ended up getting the jalapeño egg burger. I enjoyed mine over hers. I wouldn't pay the extra money to try the bone marrow. I think there was horse radish in the sauce...on a burger to me that's not a desirable taste. It was cooked well though. And I'd assume if you liked those flavors then it would probably be a good burger. Mine was cooked medium rare, with the egg and onions it was perfect. The flavor was perfect. For dessert we ended up getting the bourbon cake. This is a must try. It was delicious especially with the ice cream. It was gone way too fast l, I should've ordered two. Came here with my friend because we lived nearby but never got to try it. I was not aware that the food here was meant to be a bit on the healthier side but was pleasantly surprised at their menu options. I got the ahi tuna salad, which did NOT disappoint. I was a bit disappointed with the appetizers such as spinach artichoke dip and the brussels sprouts, but given that they are probably on the healthier side of restaurant appetizers, I will still give it a 4/5 for flavor. Overall this place was good! I would come back here. The Moscow Mule was hella strong and I wasn't even trying to get messed up. A sis was struggling to finish it. My boyfriends brother's fiance was telling me to hurry up and drink it but I told her it was hella strong and I was already getting red LOL But it was totally worth it! The Brussel sprouts where good, we also got chicken wings but I forgot to take a pic of it. Our waiter was nice. There's a lot of parking outside. We kinda came here a little late and our stomachs where full so we weren't looking to eat much of a big meal. Just looking to link up with some old friends so we didn't really want to order too too much but for the price we paid I think it was really worth it.
