I just left after trying to be service for a repair nail just one and the initial servicer couldnt even color match a set they did for me before Valentine's Day. once I asked for the same technician and pointed her out saying I'd wait since she was finishing up another client's nail I was told okay to wait. Others walked in with no appointment and was now being serviced before me and all of a sudden I was told "we're busy and you have to wait" when I asked why since others arrived after me I still wasn't serviced and was being told to wait so I asked to leave and if they could remove the nail tip they applied. Very disappointed and frustrated since I just needed my nail fixed for my gender reveal tomorrow and no one could service me. one one technician can do nail. the vibe also because discriminatory having the clients who were being serviced after me look at me like I was causing an issue they knew nothing about, but I guess since I'm a POC that's expected per usual. Came for a $10 color change. I called spoke with a Liam, very nice & welcoming. They right around the corner from my house. Very convenient. Plus No wait. I was seated right away, and served a nice service. They also have the tool I requested, (the buff drill) for my toes. I went in to get a pedicure and my nails done. The lady giving the pedicure dug her nails into my skin. I thought it was in my head until I checked when I got home. Also, I had powder on my fingernails and wanted to freshen them up. She did not take off the previous powder. I was getting a coral color. I asked her if she was sure it would work and she said it would be fine. They looked fine but once I was leaving I saw the back of my hand. Do not go here. Go anywhere else. First off it was a hassle just trying to tell them what I wanted, which was a simple French set nails they kept trying up sell me which I get it's a part of them trying to get more money but just do as I say! I got a mani and pedi which was 91$ and when it came to my toes I have one that is growing and they put a fake nail with is fine but once you see the pics you'll understand. I don't understand why they had so much confusion over doing a simple ass French tip set. On top of that I could hear the lady talking mess about me In her language, the reason I knew was bc she was saying key words of what I had told them what I wanted. I won't be back here. These photos are 10 minutes after my pedicure was done. After I called this to the attention of management/owner, she immediately began filing my toes to try to fix them. I paid $36 for this. They offer no refunds and they refuse to stand behind their work even when a refund is warranted. The owner wanted to throw some polish on my toes to try and fix the lousy job done by her employee. This nail salon does poor work and the photos are proof. There are so many other salons that will give better service than this. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! I came back to this salon only because it's close to my house. I'm writing this as I sit in the pedicure chair. My boyfriend and I came in over an hour ago for a Mani/Pedi. And my pedicure has JUST began. Mind you, there is only ONE other customer here besides my boyfriend and me. There are 3 people who are currently working. All 3 of us were sat in a pedicure chair at the same time. My boyfriend's pedicure was started, the other ladies pedicure AND manicure was started at the same time. Which left me to sit in my chair for over an hour while my soaking water got COLD! I understand some employees only do certain services, but I could have gotten my manicure out of the way while my boyfriend and the other customer got their pedicures. That way I'm not sitting here twiddling my thumbs, shivering from cold water. My boyfriend's pedicure was completed, and I thought they would move on to me, but instead did his manicure first. Still leaving me without any services done. This place is SLOW on a Monday. There is absolutely no reason I should have waited THIS LONG for my pedicure to begin. I refused the manicure because I don't want to give them a cent more than necessary. We are leaving without tipping and we NEVER do that. Also, the lady doing my pedicure scrubbed my feet for all of 10 seconds for each foot. And JUST went back to the other customer's feet leaving me sitting here twiddling my thumbs again. Oh wait, she came back and rubbing lotion on my shins. LOL do pedicures no longer come with a standard massage?? She painted my toenails and is cleaning up around the toenail with her SHARP ASS FINGERNAILS. It feels like she is slicing open my skin around my toenails. She also tried putting on my sandals while the paint was still wet and messed up the nail polish. She tried fixing it but ended up having to take the entire polish off because she tried touching it up WITH THE WRONG COLOR. Again, this is a LIVE review. I keep trying to grow my nails out because I have always bitten them. The only way I can keep them growing is by having the powder done. I usually end up taking them off within a week though because they are too long. I always tell the technicians to go as short as possible but they never do. This time he did and I am loving them. I haven't even thought about pulling them off. They are clean and friendly. I got a pedicure at the same time as my nails so I didn't have to sit there for hours to have both done. Not overly archy or over plucking, but a beautiful, full, well-shaped brows with clean lines I was also impressed by the skills, detail-orientation and caring attitude the tech showed to me. If I could put ZERO STARS I WOULD!! I usually go to my nail tech in Pearland, but today it was last minute so I tried this salon right down the street from my sisters house and a COMPLETE DISASTER. I needed a full set (French tip) and a pedicure. Let's begin with the lady who did my nails. She was using the nail drill and kept cutting my skin off around my finger nail , I also asked for a sharp square shape and she rounded it and said it would be better so I wouldn't scratch my kid! I thought I was the paying customer, when asked to fix it she had a slight attitude. The older nail tech who did my pedicure first the water was flaming hot! Secondly when cutting my cuticles she kept and I repeat cut every single toe. I asked for an acrylic on my big toes and she placed it all clumpy she asked for a younger person to walk her through it when she used the drill she as well cut my skin to the point I bleed!! I also witnessed, the lady next to me the young lady dropped the stuff on the floor to place on the lady's feet next to me she picked it up and continued to use the cream she dropped UNSANITARY !! I asked to just remove it and I'll go somewhere else and She did not want to remove it!! She begins to speak with her coworkers in their cultural language very angrily, and attitude like. I got my nails done on Saturday and half of my nails broke. Two of them actually broke off the next day. I usually get dip powder on my natural nails, which is similar to an overlay. They tried to tell me that dip powder is soft, which is not true. When I came in to ask about them fixing it, their response was well the lady who messed it up isn't working today. Step one: suck it up and overcome. The very nice lady who was doing my nails was the manager, possibly, because she kept getting up every other minute to check out other guests, thus my nails did not get the attention they needed and already are chipping. A little on the pricey side for Shellac manicure when I don't get a hand lotion massage like other near by places. Terrible. Not sure how you have 4.2 stars...? Worst experience! I treated my mother to a medi and pedi for Mother's Day. We are Vietnamese American, and can speak proper Vietnamese. As soon as the service began, the employees slandered my mother in Vietnamese expecting her to only speak English. My mom is a very hard-working woman, and values her off time greatly. 1. The first nail tech spilled the waste water and soaked my mother. As mentioned previously, she values her off time. She was relaxing/napping. When the boy spilled the whole bowl of waste water on her, he said, "Doesn't matter because she's sleeping. If she's sleeping, she doesn't care about our work, neither do I." (All in Vietnamese, of course.) 2. The employees called my mother "Nó" translating to a very condescending "that lady there" in English. The nail tech was way younger than my mom. In Vietnamese tradition, we value our elders and must show high respect. All the employees then laughed at my mother. How terrible. My mother was kind enough to not say anything. 3. Each employee assumed my mother only speaked English, so they can talk shit about her. Why would you ever go to get service where you will be teased in another language. I do not recommend ever getting service here unless you like to be talked about. I have asked for a full refund, and have refused to do so. I have personally worked in customer service for the past 5 years. I am extremely upset that my mother had to persevere through such a disrespectful experience. My mother was kind enough to tip the older woman that gave her a pedi. The cashier charged me an extra $10.00 to tip both the younger boy and the older lady after asking to just tip the older woman. Owner was there and did nothing. Coward. Our family own multiple nail solans in Destin and Panama City. If this were to EVER happen there, the employee would be terminated. I rate them a -5 stars. No matter what race, please do not get service. I have called the store to speak with the Owner. He hung up on my face twice probably because he's a pushover and let's his employees walk over him. The employees had denied ever saying so, or spilling the water on her. Never was there an apology. We have the recording, and will get lawyers involved.
