My therapist, Michael at the Oak Street location, worked with me over two months to decrease pain and increase movement. He listened deeply to my complaints about pain, responded with thoughtful exercises, and now I have full range of movement again. Jeff is unprofessional, condescending and should not be working with anyone. He treated me a handful of times post meniscus surgery and then refused to continue treatment as he said my pain was just in my head and I was fine. I then got an mri as the pain did not go away to find out I had another massive tear in the same knee he was "treating". He would say over and over there was nothing wrong with my knee while the entire time I had a tear that was bothering me. Jeff is not someone that should be trusted with your rehab or care. I highly suggest finding a caring and more educated physical therapist for whatever issue you may be having. read more

I saw Jeff for my right hand and my left knee. My experience has been EXCELLENT! Jeff is very responsive by email as well. In person, Jeff wastes no time and gets right to work! From the start, Jeff said that my hand has been so abused (over my decades of gardening, art work and drumming) and the arthritis was quite bad and he did not know how much he could do for me. But 2 months later, with the many exercises that Jeff gave me, my arthritic finger which was swollen, red, in almost constant pain with compromised range of mobility is now pain free (with no medication) and with greatly improved range of mobility. It is not 100% and Jeff never promised 100%, but I am extremely happy! Jeff also gave me advice on how I should pace myself with my work so I can better care for my hand. I was resigned to living with a less than perfect knee. But Jeff took me through the fear of injuring my knee to working with it to gain more range of mobility. I am very happy with the result! In general, I am extremely happy to learn that even at my age and with decades of overuse, I can get my body to improve and work better for me. Thank you so much, Jeff!!!! read more

PARENTS BEWARE!   The owner, Jeff Giulietti, is arrogant and demoralizing.     My 14 year old daughter has been receiving physical therapy at Eugene Physical Therapy for over a month, seeing Tony and making great progress. Due to scheduling challenges, my daughter was scheduled to see Jeff Giulietti instead earlier this week. After several minutes with Jeff, my daughter was pressured with questions and felt emotional after not being allowed time to process and answer. Jeff then pushed her further by asking her such questions as, "Are you shy or something?!!  Why are you getting emotional??"   His manor was judgmental, rather than from a place of genuine curiosity.    We returned to Eugene Physical Therapy today, and Jeff Giulietti was not only scheduled to see my daughter again, but he also informed us that my daughter had to work with him alone.  I was instructed to stay in the waiting room.  My daughter requested I be able to stay in the room, as I have done for her past six visits, and Jeff still refused.    In fact, he said his office could no longer care for my daughter if he couldn't be alone with her in the room.     Jeff Giulietti at Eugene Physical Therapy has left my daughter feeling traumatized, rather than supported in her healing. read more

I saw Jeff for two visits and could not continue my care with him. He has horrible bedside manner and is rude and condescending. When you're in pain and new to physical therapy, that's the last thing you need. I canceled all my upcoming appointments and will seek care elsewhere. I definitely would not recommend seeing him. read more

I went to Eugene Physical Therapy based on a recommendation from a friend. The exercises that I was asked to do were challenging, but I was committed to getting better so I did them faithfully. The end result is that I am now able to resume the activities that I participated in prior to being seen here. read more

I am a 66-year-old male who went to JEFF GIULIETTI at Eugene Physical Therapy for rehab of a torn left patellar tendon. I am a professional scientist who has worked in the medical and research science fields for 35 years. Upon my arrival i found the office staff to be very nice, however I found Jeff to be condescending, interruptive, and rude, with extremely poor bedside manners. Even so, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt because of his accreditations and appointment availability. I returned for 2 more appointments. On my third appointment, Jeff asked me to perform a wall side-bend stretching exercise that I was not comfortable with and did not feel ready for. Upon his prodding, I attempted the stretch and immediately felt a tearing pain in my upper left hip area. I told him that I felt a tearing pain on my left hip, and he said, "You didn't tear anything, you're just completely out of shape." After a few basic stretching exercises, he then attempted to make me do the same wall stretching exercise again. At that point I told him I tore something in my hip, and it is painful. He responded, "Do you even know what a tear is? You don't have a tear." At that point I realized that I needed to get out of there to save myself, and I told him we were not a good match, and I left. I now have a new tendon injury to my left hip/upper thigh that is very painful. Jeff presents with a narcissistic personality disorder as exemplified by my experiences with him, as well as other reviewers. Don't let all the letters after his name fool you (part of the disorder). I would not recommend Jeff as a therapist to anyone. read more

I was discharged yesterday and appreciate being able to function without pain. I received their services years ago for a different issue and chose to wait for an appointment with them. With my recent experience it makes me glad I waited. Before my treatment with Jeff and his team my options were steroid injections or a spine stimulator. Before my PT I was unable to put on my socks or do minor tasks like laundry. Jeff helped me be accountable for my part of the program. His staff made me feel like I was part of their "family". If I could give more than 5 stars for all of my experience they would have it. read more

I was referred to Jeff at Eugene Physical Therapy by my physician for mid back pain that had only gotten worse in the past few years. Jeff Listened and worked with me to get my mobility back, build strength and got me out of my head. Jeff took me step by step to work on the areas of pain but went further to explain why we had to wrok all areas of the back and why each excercise was needed and encourage me along the way. I feel like I now my life back and I am so proud of myself, so very grateful for Jeff, and I am ready to train hard so I can complet my bucketlist that was put on hold 5 years ago. I went here a couple of years ago for an ankle injury, the therapist I saw was very egotistic and talked down to me. At first I thought that we were friendly so I would be sarcastic but then he would snap at me and be extremely rude. He also called my doctor and told them I was depressed when I really wasn't and was just tired from nannying. I will NEVER recommended this place to ANYONE. read more

Following several recommendations from friends, I saw Rachel Roberts for PT following hip replacement surgery. She is easily the best therapist in my experience -- tactful, caring, listens well, very engaged with the patient, and gives precise and useful feedback. This isn't a PT factory, where one therapist sees multiple patients simultaneously for about nine seconds each, but an uninterrupted one-on-one. The front office is friendly and helpful; billing wasn't an issue as they handled everything. The Oakway location is more pleasant than the one on Oak Street, but it's a minor point. I saw Jeff Giulietti for a low back problem several years ago and more recently for neck pain and stiffness. In both instances he had me pain-free in 3 or 4 visits. He is very professional and is an exceptional, highly knowledgeable therapist with strong, amazing hands. I highly recommend him. If you are sincerely seeking relief from pain, he is your man; however, he makes clear very early that the relationship is a partnership, i.e., he will do his part but expects you to faithfully do your assigned homework as well. His goal is to get you pain-free in as few visits as possible, so if you are seeking someone who is warm and fuzzy to coddle you, go elsewhere. read more

Joe Uhan, DPT, was my physical therapist following a complex foot surgery. I asked my surgeon for a recommendation to the best PT he knew for rehab, and he recommended Joe. Joe is a wonderful, warm therapist and so knowledgeable. My rehab was somewhat painful and at times I wondered if I would return to my previous level of fitness. Joe gave me pep talks and support, reminding me that tissue remodeling is gradual, a little painful, that one has to be consistent and relentless. Today I finished another pain free hike on the Ridgeline Trail. THANKS Joe! read more

Although this establishment came highly recommended from friends, my initial experience was everything except 5 star. The saga begins with finding adequate parking. In order to get inside the mall, you must trek to the very center of the outdoor mall and enter through heavy glass doors,which is quite the challenge, especially being on crutches and this being my first solo outing after being bed ridden for almost a month. I found the elevator but when exiting on the 2nd floor there was not one sign with the business name. (nor was the business name on any marquee downstairs) I must be on the wrong end of the mall? Hobbling on crutches proceeded to the other end... still nothing? With a phone call to the office, I'm instructed to go back to the elevator (other end) and GO OUTSIDE (more doors) and down the outside hall. Upon arrival I'm visibly upset and told by the front desk that the mall administration would not allow signage? Yet other business' had stanchions and signage? Not at all what the mall admin said when I called them? I'm greeted and cared for by a student. Although kind and informative, my injuries were extensive and I expected to see a licensed PT. My file was not reviewed prior to my arrival which I also found surprising. It seemed to be one thing after the other. I was instructed by my Orthopedic surgeon to have PT three times a week. I was advised by the student that they would only do PT once a week. Whom do I listen to? As I gathered my items to leave, I looked on the front counter of the waiting room where people enter, and there were two pieces of paper with my personal information that had been hole punched and ready for my office file. These papers contained my name and personal information there in the open for any incoming patient to see as they entered. I believe this to be not only careless but a HIPA violation. The next day I cancelled all scheduled appointments by email. They either were glad to get rid of me and thought I was quite the bitch, or just really don't care about their patients? If it were my business and someone was cancelling 5 subsequent appointments the day after being there, I would certainly want to know why. I cancelled my appointments by email so that I would have a receipt back as missed appointments are charged a fee. The message back to me was "Received. Your visits have deleted as requested". And that was it. read more
