This place is amazing. I've been seeing Chelsea Mills for about 2 months now and she is seriously…read morethe best PT I have found in Eugene. I had a challenging back injury (herniated discs and severe nerve tension) and had jumped from PT to PT over the course of 5 months, with no relief and no advancement in my healing process. Chelsea has made me feel confident, strong, and I've healed so much faster than I had been. Not only am I walking again, I'm lifting weights, working out on the elliptical and hopefully soon will be conquering hiking and hills. Obviously, you get as much out of PT as you put into it, but without Chelsea's expert guidance I would not be where I am today. In addition, Endurance PT came highly recommended to me by my gynecologist...and I'm not sure there are any other doctors who know the female body better than your gyno.

Unfortunately Megan is transitioning out of physical therapy and I was seen by Amber instead. Amber is overconfident and has an attitude. She touches your body with a towel in her hand while wearing gloves which is awkward. I was then charged for a no show because I showed up 12 minutes late for my appointment due to an accident that required me to reroute. I asked to have my appointments with Amber cancelled and to be seen by another therapist and was told I would be called by Megan. That did not happen and my appointments were not cancelled. I then asked for my records to be mailed to me. They were not and I had to call again and ask for them to be mailed to me. I finally received them and they included inappropriate comments making attacks against me personally from one of the staff members who had talked over me and was rude during my interactions with her. I then went to another physical therapist only to discover I had been misdiagnosed with having one leg longer than the other which I had gone to my orthotics specialist for a heel lift to fix which only created problems. I actually just have a minor hip misalignment. These people are rude, inflexible, intolerant, and do not know what they are doing.

I never write a review but I feel obligated to, so no one goes through what I did. I have gone…read moreperiodically to PT all my life for various sports related injuries and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I'm 25 and have a hamstring tear. I was assigned to a massage therapist not a physical therapist or a PT associate. I only saw the PT once briefly my first visit. It is clear to me now that this woman is inexperienced with this type of injury. On my second visit she massaged my hamstring (where the tear is) so deeply that I had trouble walking for a few days and was so much worse. I told her that her massage made me worse, possibly damaged my tear and her response was, "I just kept going deeper because you weren't flinching". I actually was flinching she was just talking so much she didn't care to notice. Also that is not my job but actually hers. I told her I had avoided the hamstring stretch for a few days because of how much worse I was from the massage and I was worried the stretch might have also made it worse. Her response "The reason you injured it is because you aren't flexible, sorry to be harsh". She further elaborated that my doctor told me to stretch, which is true but he told me to do super light stretching for mobility purposes. She then told me to reach for my toes. (A super harsh stretch for the hamstring). Since this obviously would be terrible for my tear I told her I needed light stretching and that reaching for my toes would hurt me. I also asked about isometric exercises and exercises that would help with strengthening surrounding muscles. She seemed upset by my asking of this and then proceeded to have me bike and do 4 new exercises. I went from doing nothing to having an extreme amount of exercises with many sets. My muscles were not ready. My hamstrings were so sore that evening and the next day which is also super bad for recovery. Working a torn muscle to the point of being sore is bad for it. She should know that. I had trouble walking again because of her. I am still now worse. Im just so confused by this care. When I asked this woman also about my care and what the plan was for me from the PT I got no answers. this has been a super upsetting experience. This woman harmed my injury in a multitude of ways. I called and canceled all my appointments. I never saw an actual PT or an associate. I have never been to PT place ever where they just assign you to one massage therapist and you never see a PT or PT associate. Avoid this place if you can especially if you're a young person trying to recover and get back to sports.

I have been going to PT, and massage through this clinic on, and off for probably almost a decade…read more I started when the clinic was at another location. I can tell you the quality of care you get from everyone you see is genuine, caring, and nothing short of amazing. They have helped get me healed through many car accident injuries, and also through some pain when I had fallen, and broke my tailbone a few years back. Right now I am receiving care from totaling my car into a deer back in June. I am still sore, and the therapists, and massages have really helped get me through. They also offer Pilates, and I think other therapies. I was supposed to do Pilates to help heal my injuries, but I ended up with Covid the end of August, and my schedule didn't mesh with who ever was supposed to do it. So bummer on that. Although years ago I have done some Pilate work through here, and I found it very helpful. They have great equipment for PT. The staff is very friendly, and they do their best to work with your schedule to get you in right away. The PT, and massage is also usually the same day. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for PT. You will get quality care. I have been to other places, and don't feel like I got what I needed from them.

Physical therapy generally seems to fall into two camps when treating chronic pain: solving the…read morepresenting pain, or addressing the underlying movement patterns. From what I can tell (I've had 5 appointments), Staszak PT is focusing on addressing faulty movement patterns which will resolve the presenting issue. I came in with chronic neck and upper back pain, as well as some ankle stiffness. They've been teaching me how to strengthen my TVA and glutes, work on ankle mobility, stabilize an old shoulder injury, and addressing things I've always assumed were just how I was made (I've got one foot that flairs out a little instead of pointing straight forward, and I'm slightly bowlegged). I've been diligent with my exercises, and I'm gradually feeling more stable and also feeling my muscles relax as they don't need to compensate for my poor movement patterns. That's leaving me feeling stronger and in less pain. I've worked with a handful of the staff (Mike and Mary, Emily, Audrey, Tina, Lori, and Shane) and they've all been great. They take detailed notes with each visit, so even when I'm handed off between team members, each person has been versed with my specific situation.
