Chelsea has made me feel confident, strong, and I've healed so much faster than I had been. Not only am I walking again, I'm lifting weights, working out on the elliptical and hopefully soon will be conquering hiking and hills. Obviously, you get as much out of PT as you put into it, but without Chelsea's expert guidance I would not be where I am today. Unfortunately Megan is transitioning out of physical therapy and I was seen by Amber instead. Amber is overconfident and has an attitude. She touches your body with a towel in her hand while wearing gloves which is awkward. I was then charged for a no show because I showed up 12 minutes late for my appointment due to an accident that required me to reroute. I asked to have my appointments with Amber cancelled and to be seen by another therapist and was told I would be called by Megan. That did not happen and my appointments were not cancelled. I then asked for my records to be mailed to me. They were not and I had to call again and ask for them to be mailed to me. I finally received them and they included inappropriate comments making attacks against me personally from one of the staff members who had talked over me and was rude during my interactions with her. I then went to another physical therapist only to discover I had been misdiagnosed with having one leg longer than the other which I had gone to my orthotics specialist for a heel lift to fix which only created problems. I actually just have a minor hip misalignment. These people are rude, inflexible, intolerant, and do not know what they are doing.

It seems Eugene has a lot of auto accident specialists, because they make the most money and are easy to bill without denials. I question the ethics of those practices. Chiropractic should be available to everyone, not just the wealthy. She is the ONLY DC in Eugene with a reasonable cash payment requiring no extensive X-rays or further appointments. Most of all, she is highly skilled in the mechanics of chiropractic and I'm very grateful I found her.Eugene has NO IDEA how lucky they are to have her at such a reasonable rate. My first experience on entering was finding the office nice looking with a calming. The staff was friendly and helpful with the initial intake forms. For me it's mostly been lower back pain and neck pain caused by work instead of a sudden event like an auto accident that I have been seeing Kacy for. On the first visit she asked me some questions about my level of pain and walked me through the adjustments she would be making before doing them to make me comfortable. This was my first time seeing a chiropractor and I felt Kacy was very knowledgeable which helped with the nervousness of a neck and spinal adjustment. I will admit the first adjustment did leave me a bit sore but feeling better and after the soreness went away I was still feeling the improvement in my lower back and neck. The visits after that initial visit haven't really left me with much soreness. I've been adding massage therapy with Kelly to my chiropractic care, and it's been a game-changer! Kelly combined Swedish and deep tissue massage, which really loosened up those tight muscles in my neck and shoulders, and also helped ease the tightness in my leg muscles. I think the massage is targeting the muscles that caused my pain in the first place, while the adjustments are focusing on the bones, providing lasting relief for my chronic pain.

She's not afraid to get into the biomechanics and biology of things, and doesn't try to dumb things down or wave anything off. I have a far better understanding of what's going on in my ankle and foot, and then she explains the techniques she's using, what they do, how it works, and so on. I've seen a couple other PT's in town, and now I know where I'll be returning if I need one again.

After emergency room visit, CT scan and X-rays, I was "lucky" to have "just bruised" my kidney. I was really wrecked! in terrible back pain, couldn't walk, or move side to side and the pain felt like an ice pick in my pelvis. The pain pills were worse, making me itch all over...so I was left with Aleve. After a week with little sleep and continuing terrible pain, (worse than childbirth contractions) I called Nancy's office to make an appointment in case my insurance would cover physical therapy, thinking maybe I should know how to not hurt myself further as I slowly healed. Nancy made sure I could see her the next day for "trauma relief". Trauma like car accidents or bad falls mess with everything. She really understood what I was going thru and with her calm demeanor and knowledgeable approach of the soft tissues that I'd damaged, she helped my body and mind reset to understand I could get well again, reduced the pain after the first visit (virtually everywhere) and gave me the confidence to get better. If you have been injured--don't wait--call her office. It's been two weeks now, and I'm still injured but back to 80% of my old self. I highly recommend it!! I recently had total joint replacement surgery and among all the details, I forgot to arrange for…read morephysical therapy sessions afterward. That mistake is in me. At the time I needed therapy, many people were on vacation and couldn't schedule me until it would be too late. I called 6 or 7 offices on the list my doctor's office gave me and no one could help in the timeframe I needed it. After so many "no"s, I was relieved to finally get a "yes" from PT Solutions. It didn't occur to me to wonder why they were so available and everyone else was not. Firstly, let me say I have no issues at all with the office staff. They were friendly, polite and helpful and I hope they all find somewhere better to work. And everything that happened to me was witnessed by the staff, other clients, and my own adult son. My assigned therapist was brusque and impatient with me, even with asking simple questions. If I ever asked if a pain was normal, she'd interrupt with, "Well, there's gonna be pain," or "You knew there was gonna be pain." I'd never had physical therapy and didn't know what to expect, but my therapist seemed irritated if I asked too many questions so I tried to stay quiet. At one point in treatment, this therapist actually laughed at me for crying during an extremely painful exercise. She'd routinely snap at me if I asked if I should continue doing something. There's much more than that, but I don't want to go on and on. This therapist even admitted she'd never wanted to work with people and had wanted to be a veterinarian instead. I wish she had. The final straw was when I came in and she was in a really foul mood, more so than normal. I'd been there two days earlier and gotten praise for my progress, but that day she was angry. Apparently, there was one particular muscle I'd been exercising incorrectly, so we worked on it and worked on it until I was sore, but I just couldn't figure out how to get this one muscle to respond. I honestly tried my best. The therapist blew up at me in front of my son and everyone else in the place. (I know the staff also heard it and at least one other client.) She yelled at me, berated me for not meeting a goal I didn't know I'd had as if I did it intentionally just to p*ss her off, and ended by saying, and I quote," Well, you're not a TOTAL loser, you're at a one out of five!"(On the scale.) Yes. She said I wasn't a *total loser*. I left and immediately called my health plan to see if I'd be in trouble if I never went back. And you know what they said? **PHYSICAL THERAPY IS VOLUNTARY.** My insurance paid for it and I paid the co-pay, only to be hurt, laughed at, embarrassed, insulted, and berated. So. If you have upcoming surgery that recommends physical therapy, please don't make the same mistake I did. Go to the places well ahead of time, interview the people you'll be working with, ask what you can expect, and watch how they treat their clients before choosing one you feel comfortable with. If you see any red flags, walk away and call the next one. Life is too short to pay to be abused. One final note: my assigned therapist is the owner of the business.
