That amount is 25% off not 50%. I pointed it out to the cashier but she defended the amount of $17.50 as being correct but could not explain why. As a long time corporate banker, I have a clear understanding of basic math. Either the register is not calibrated correctly or the store is falsely advertising the sale and they are basically ripping people off. Not only did I not purchase the shorts (I was going to buy four) I will not ever step foot into a Dick's Sporting Goods store again, anywhere. There are plenty of alternatives to buy elsewhere.
